We are not giving advice - only supplying you with the information that we have compiled. We do not have any ties or affiliation to the DG stores. All pictures belong to us or we have been given permission to use them from other individuals.
If an item does not ring up a penny, you CANNOT buy it for a penny. It means that it has either reset, or you have the wrong item.
We do not condone glitches or any type of fraud. This is just a database of items that have been confirmed in the past. Dollar General could stop penny items at any time. There is no guarantee.
Some basics. Penny items are hard to find and very specific. There may be very similar items that are full price. Items may reset to full price at any time. The DG penny finder is a shopping tool and not intended to be a replacement for your own diligent research. The database is updated frequently with new confirmed finds, but there may be other items out there that our team doesn't know about, so it is not conclusive.
We also may or may not add current sales and clearance to the app as we see appropriate. Our app does not have a scanner but as said, you can download a scanner app and add it to your keyboard. Otherwise, it is best to searach with the last 4-5 of the UPC. See more information at PennyPussAPP.com for basics to penny shopping and other important links.

The app was not to my liking, the items listed were true but the app was not working with the scanner app. So I uninstalled both. I don't feel that the price I paid was worth the purchase.
The scanner only sort of works. If you have to manually enter the item, it say nothing was found, every time. Not worth what I paid for it.
no were to update app cant get scanner to connect to it have never been able to use in the stores. was a waste of money.
I can get the same app information for free so I wasted my money downloading this app but I'm not going to uninstall it I'm going to give it at least a week to see if it's updated like it's supposed to be
I am letting you know, you are hereby being sued for copyright infringement. All things are currently in process. Last warning to remove the pictures you have stolen, and I will stop all proceedings. Make sure you take them ALL off, even the ones you have placed your graphic (pennypussy on).
definitely not what I was expecting. I looked around on the app but now that DG has the new DG go app this is a waste of time and money.
THERE IS NO REASON U NEED MY PASSWORDS OR CC INFO TO USE THE BARCODE SCANNER . WASTE OF MONEY ! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS APP!
Downloaded for the penny list but it has yet to be updated, the site however is already updated. Waste of money, just use the website.

Great app! I have completely finished Christmas shopping for the kids back in the spring when the toys pennied! It's like a scavenger hunt. You have to really look for the products and compare UPC codes to make sure it's the product that has pennied. Watch how things ring up at the register also because some stores aren't as quick as others to get them in the system.
Contains very few pics, aggravating to navigate, still haven't been able to get it to recognize a barcode even with items I have at home that I paid a penny for. Save yourself some money and use the fb groups and your own screenshots.
Great app and very informative and helpful. I found some penny items the first day I got the app so it pays for itself

Waste of money
I like that pictures are posted with UPC. I do not like that in my search area at the top does not say Dollar General Penny Saver and without that the scanner will not work. i have watched the video repeatedly trying to figure this out. When i scan a barcode ot just say item not found. It is worth the money because of the list and pics. But the scanner would be great. As it is now, I screen shot everything and keeo scrolling.
