I like the service but hate the app. It works ok if and when it connects. It lacks features you'd expect to have. In short, an archeic app.... Needs a modern version.

This is a wonderful app, can call my family into Canada all the way from south U.S. for only one cent a minute and over the years has saved me 100's of dollars. The connection is clear and stable, and can add funds right to my account with no problems. Love it!

No Customer Support after normal work hrs. If you have a pennytalk card...no info on how to enter that info & complete a call. I finally figured it out, and may get a chance to determine the quality of the conversation.

they charge a 99 cent monthly fee. every time I want to make a call, I have to add $10! Do not recommend if you are not a frequent caller.

calls do not go through and balance disappeared

I used to love this service until today. The customer service is 100% junk. I have spent hundreds of dollars since last year, probably well into the thousands. Just recently an automated service said my service was in use, and I couldn't make a call to hang up and contact customer service. Customer service was useless. No longer using this service, since credits are disappearing and I can't get answers. Does anyone know of a good international service that's better.

U can't hear. Forces to use phone's minutes while 1 foot from the WiFi.customer care unit does not care.it does call when it wants but u hardly hear. So have loud speaker on or connect a hi-fi.once my dollars are done. This app will be gone.emailed them weeks ago and no reply.

I haven't had any issues so far, it always works and it hasn't drop any calls. The only thing is that when adding credit if you tap more than twice on the icon it will withdraw money right away from your bank account. Rates are very reasonable and it's easy to dial!

I tried calling customer service as the app wasn't working and they had my money. It took the guy 15 minutes to access my account (I have the recorded conversation) he could not understand a word I spoke I had to repeat my phone/ account number at least 15 times. He finally got it then could not handle my queries as he could not communicate. The long and short is (I finally got a manager to call me back) the app is riddled with bugs and doesn't work on "new" phones. I have an s5. Beware.

They say 1.8 cent per call then charge 5 cents to 10 cents per call. Normally I never checked my balance before. Last few month I felt something wrong as balance decresing very fast. When checked history from thier website found this problem. Once report they will just add 1-2 bucks back to your account and say some excuse. Where in reality they will be stealing much more than that. In my case it is 17.15 bucks for 280 minutes in one month only. That is 5.7 cents per call excluding 0.99 cents per month.

worked fine for a while but now when i want to make wifi calls it tells me that call can't be completed and to disconnect from my wifi service first. doing so DOES NOT WORK and the only way to clear the error message is to restart the phone. If i hadn't got money invested in this pile of crap i would uninstall it

Doesn't work It tells me to wait for a minute to send a code to my phone and it never did. I did this a multiple times and didn't work. I had to go through a long process for calling through penny talk, also their customer service number disconnects automatically whenever I dial -in

I do not know what to think. This App is not working at all with my cell phone Samsung Galaxy Note 5. I have contacted Penny Talk Customer Service several times, and they are wonderful people but so far they don't known how to make my phone work with the Penny Talk Mobile App.

First they locked my account. Then instead of fixing it they requested that I create a new one with a new phone number and new credit card information. After having me jump through so many hoops the best they could do was have me start a new account. On top of that the app never worked!

I signed up and I didn't get the free trial. They never send me the activation code. So how can I trust you

I go to call my family overseas and it says "sorry, your call cannot be made at this time" even though I am dialing the correct number. The app automatically added $25 to my credit card once I went below $5 credit, even though the app showed I was still abive $5. There is always an echoey sound on the line. Facebook messenger has a much better call quality and it's free.

Just spoke with Penny Talk Customer Support Representative who was very helpful in assisting me with a double account issue. I've had a Penny Talk account for quit a few years and I'm very pleased with their overall service.

Can't get the code just says wait, the old version worked fine ,pls can some body help me

Misleading advertising, It says on the site that they will be no fee charges but was surprised​ of .99 cent monthly charge.

It wont let me login,i cant create a pin it anything.i tried to un install.but same problem.waste of time.

A lot of time it doesn't connect at all if it does it calls another line it makes u mad but when it does work it's great

It shows that they will sent me verfication code by message, but i didn't recieve it. I waste my $10 on it.

This app used to work and then something happened, I can't use it, I have money in the account but it won't let me call, it says I have to call a customer service representative who does not even understand the app and whose only fix to Uninstall and reinstall, well I have done that many times and I am getting tired of this

Too expensive now pay $0.35 and is telling me 0.95 that's almost 3times

Every time I try to call it goes through and then says sorry your call cannot go through at this time and hangs up. :(

Can't even get started. The customer service number and people are no help either. They kept sending me from one person to another and when I recharged my card offer the phone with them they double charged my debit card and just told me, sorry but can't not do a refund.
