Penske Driver

Doesn't "lock in" when I change my duty status. It will show that I have been driving for 50 hours, if I haven't opened the app, since the last time I put myself in off duty. I have to remember to force close and clear the cache, every time I change duty status. Update. Made sure I changed duty status to OFF, and before I even get back in the truck a couple of days later, with a new phone no less, I see that I have 0 hrs to drive. I wish I could give 0 stars.

the app disconnect from the truck a lot. I've had to uninstall and reinstall or reboot my phone just to get it to recognize the truck. I've had to have the adapter replaced or repaired almost monthly. This is the most worthless app I've ever seen. I might as well be on paper logs. it doesn't keep track of your hours available properly and has no idea about the DOT regulations. please don't waste your time, energy or data on this worthless app

I found this app user friendly and easy to navigate. The app can use some additional work and improvements. For example, there is no 60/70 hos feature with this app. you will need to keep track of that on your own. The sleeper berth period requires two off duty hours for the driver time meter to remain accurate. in other words if you don't log off at least 2 hours off duty you will not receive your ten hour reset. However Penske app has a hot line you can call to help you with any issue

I've been using this app for about a year and am fed up. It has nonstop random driving glitches in the middle of the night. It has constant malfunction codes when I simply turn the truck off and dis connectivity issues which causes power codes. You can't edit/split time. It records conflicting double times ALL THE TIME of which you cant delete, which in return, doesn't allow you to certify the log!!! I have about 20 more issues I'd like to address but it seems I've hit my space limit. TRASH

Decent but every ELD app I've used (4) was better. The phone tech said they were making improvements, but... loses location and information that was already entered. Frustrating. If you don't manually change to on duty after driving, it will change it for you (EVERY ELD APP DOES THAT UNLESS THERE IS A MALFUNCTION.), but this one keeps the on duty status locked just like drive time. Not good when you catch it in the middle of your 34. Also seems to randomly locked off duty status.. change it.

this app is just ok...IF you can get it to connect to your vehicle. update: it's not even ok. still have issues connecting to trucks. for some dumb reason you can't certify your logs until until after midnight. NOT when you go off duty for the day. So good luck remembering to certify your log after midnight. thanks for the citation by the way. to bad I can't just run paper logs.

The app is great for checking in without leaving the comfort of your truck when you get on site at a Penske location. The only issue I have is the mileage they have on file does not match my truck mileage. Need to find out where to fix that. Other than that issue, seems to be a great tool for Drivers.

This app is very difficult to learn let alone use. It has disconnected from the truck. I can't seem to " edit" my BOL's. If I forget to log something it's almost impossible to fix. Honestly, it's very in sufficient. The whole interface needs to be re-worked

Not bad at all... when my boss told me I had to download and use this app for my logs with a rental truck, I thought it was going to be a big pain in the butt. Much to my surprise, it was actually quite easy. One or two things could be improved, such as making it more straightforward about entering inspection information and giving the screen the ability to work in both portrait and landscape mode, but overall it is an excellent app.

They fixed the crashing issue and it worked great until the last update and now it has multiple issues. 1. positioning failure, ie. I have to put in location manually every time I change status, on duty none driving, driving, sleeper birth, off duty all of it. 2. doesn't display the proper miles driven.

Since the update app crashes, changes certified log records, will not certify some days, will not retain truck and trailer information, uses more battery. Only app causing my phone problems. Not worth using.

the app as far as HOS are concerned is a train wreck. the unidentified log system makes this ridiculous. also does not stay connected to the scanner in truck always being prompted trouble shoot connection and reconnect. way to complicated system for a lease or rental. driver need something basic that works prime example trying to do much.

Bugs and more bugs. Support people dont work on weekends, not good since truck drivers do ! Keep seeing "for older version " on the reviews, but I'm using it now and I'm having a lot of the same problems. Including unable to certify my logs for four days now.

It would be a decent app, if it wouldn't disconnect from the truck every time I switch screens to do something else, get a phone call or scratch my butt wrong. I'm also supposed to have detailed instructions on using this app per the DOT cop that did my last inspection...nowhere to be found on this app. Luckily he had mercy on me and didn't shut me down because I couldn't operate the lot properly. I can't even certify my logs because it says I just have an internet connection to do so...while connected to the internet. Not a great app at all.

Takes a week emailing back and forth with penske to get an account set-up. Then when you finally do that the app can't connect to the truck. "No adapters found". They have a 24/7 support number listed that closes at 8p eastern. Absolutely worthless!

I use it for work. If it was not required I would not use it. It constantly puts me in violation. Constantly kicks me off driving while I'm driving down the road. And it will not allow me to certify my logs unless I uninstall the app and reinstall the app every week. This app is a joke.

Man ya'll never to figure your $hit out with this app, it constantly disconnects from "Your" trucks, I had to talk my way out of a ticket because it disconnects while using the phone and that's a big problem because we are allowed to use hands-free. If I end up getting a ticket because of this, I'm going to sue your company back to Evolution! And your shops......that's for another post. Ya'll just can't seem to get it together!

This app is junk. Having data sync issues. I have callef the customer support several times & they tell me they are checking with the developers & they will call me back. Imagine that i have called 3 different times in 2 days & no call back from the support line.

Just started using this app, as my employer hasn't decided yet if they want to move the Keep Trucking boxes into the trucks we just started leasing. Needs a yard move option, so driving time isn't used while moving around a customers yard. Also noticed that the 8 hour clock doesn't stop when I'm on-duty not driving either. And yeah, it disconnects at times for no reason at all. Also a DVIR section would be nice too.

Less than satisfied. I've been driving penske trucks for about 4 months now and now, because I got cited for no ELD, am trying to figure this app out. No one from penske showed the owners of the new company I work for how to set this app up or connect it to the trucks. Im sitting here, out of service, waiting for my request to use the hours of service part of the app to go through to my boss. Im sure the app is great once its up and running. However, set up has been a royal pain.

"it's terrible" it disconnects from the truck. I've had it issues since the 1st day. I stop driving, went off duty & 3 minutes later it put me on duty driving. I put notes & try to edit my log, but I don't trust this device. I gave it one star, because it would take 0

At different times have had almost every issue I see in comments initial log in on a device never works right. Help desk hours are a big problem. The most difficult and frustrating app I have ever worked with

This app is extremely complicated. There's always some sort of issue connecting the bluetooth. The log editing process is very difficult and complicated.

Having major trouble connecting app to the engine it keeps saying no device detected, no adapters found. Had to shut down because of it now I'm not gonna make it home and I had stuff to do this week highly disappointed theres no one to help penski says call back at 8am for troubleshooting🤦🏿‍♂️I guess black lives dont matter!

If I forget to click out of "driving" to on duty, it wont change by itself and then I cant edit it later so I'm stuck "driving" when I'm just on duty. Gives me notifications even though I have the permission turned off in settings

First of all, its total trash, disconnects from the ELD daily going down the road, by time you notice it, you've already driven 200-300 miles. And then you cant go in and make the adjustments. So basically, even though you're legal to drive, you wont be legal in the eyes of DOT. So you will end up taking a 10 hour break at the scales, or if they really want to screw you, force you to do a 34 hour restart. And the LOCATIONS option has NEVER worked, tells me to check my internet. It's a phone, duh

App will not show locations near me. It says it can't find my location. I gave the app permission to see location. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Rebooted phone. It's useless as is.

Constant connection issues. Constantly correcting unassigned logs. Log into it and go back in when getting to my next stop and i have to log in again. Its a horrible app.

If a driver disconnects from the truck then logs out, and someone moves the truck it should not re- log that last driver as driving. You are unable to change that. Also, if Penske is driving the truck for service, it does the same thing and you can't change the driving status which cause violations for the driver upon logging back in

I drive a long-lease unit, so I only use the service check-in, or occasionally the road-service features. Only the check-box information gets to the techs, not the description of the problem. For FIVE WEEKS, we've had a full fuel filter. I asked the tech, and was told "all I got was 'engine; other', despite my filling in the description. We also have no cockpit heat due to inadequate coolant flow through the front core. We tell the app, nobody tells the mechanics. BRILLIANT.
