The "Pentagram" has been used as a religious symbol throughout the world from the beginning of recorded history. The most basic pentagram is simply a five-point star drawn with one continuous line broken into five line segments and with one point of the star facing up. Today, however, when we say “pentagram,” we usually mean “a five-point star with one or two circles drawn around it.” Sometimes such a symbol includes other small markings denoting a particular magick sigil. An "Inverted Pentagram" displays the star “upside down,” i.e., with one point facing down and two facing up. Whichever form is used, the pentagram has always been assigned a five-part symbolism.
In Christian symbolism, the basic pentagram (without a circle) was originally used to represent the five wounds of Jesus Christ. It was soon supplanted by the symbol of the cross, but the pentagram was still recognizable as a Christian symbol for a few hundred years after Jesus’ resurrection. Some say that the continuous line was also considered symbolic of the Alpha and Omega. When written or drawn, the pentacle becomes a Pentagram. When used in magik the "Pentacle" is made of clay, wax, or earthenware. In some traditions it's cast in gold, silver, copper, pewter or iron. In this form magikal symbols or sigils are added to the casting. The pentacle is then used to consecrate a magikal circle or as a magikal tool or talisman.

Lol at random google user. Pentagrams. Are 5 pointed stars inverted. Pentacals are 5pointed stars upright. Hexagrams are 6 pointed stars.

Good wall papers. If u dont know the pentagram can be used for both good and evil. Some people use it to worship Satan nd bring evil spirits into the world, but others like me who are wiccan use it for earth and other energy and for good.
