Very slow and full of bugs. Forgets login information. After resets, which are very slow and agonizing, it still doesn't work. Right now we are running it in manual mode. Total waste to have connectivity that doesn't work. Save yourself a lot of time and aggrevation and buy a manual controller.
Flawless with an iPhone. I have an android. The motor feature, and heater work as expected. I can turn on the lights, but I can not change the color. I can slide between color options, but when I try to select it will not let me. I have updated bothe the software on the machines and my android. Please fix the application.
I guess it works. It's slow, has an awful UI, and seems to be missing features I would expect for a modern product, like day of the week scheduling and smart home integration. Upgrading my pool pumps and installing the pentair controller effectively means downgrading my smart features and I had 150 Dollar wifi relays on the old stuff.
Works spotty with an Android. Have to press refresh up to 8x to show the current status. Network goes down around 4pm every day which is really annoying. I also had a terrible time initially connecting and installing on Android and using a Mac. Doesn't show up or work right trying to program with mac. Needs a really strong wifi connection then okay. Don't like how they want a professional to install and attempt to say I voided the warranty because I installed it myself.
This is the worst investment I made with my pool. Constantly loses connection with WiFi and I have to be in person to physically connect the intelliconnect device back to WiFi. When it loses connection it doesn't run the pump, and intellichlor unit. What's the point of automation and an app if I have to constantly be in person to reconnect?
It worked then stopped. I erased all local data, uninstalled, reinstalled. Still doesn't work. I log in and don't get the screen showing devices. Now all I get is news and view all. It stopped working. Help.
Garbage. It would literally be easier to climb a telephone pole and throw a switch than to deal with this horrible app. I guess they know they have you once you have their equipment installed. I previously had a 130 dollar smart relay on my old pump and their app is 1000x better.
horrible app, doesn't work half the time, the other half it takes 30 secs between clicks. can you please just release an API so we can control outside of the app and connect to home automation systems
If you're having problems, there is a solution. Pentair should have mentioned this in the description for this app. Found on their website they are not supporting this app anymore. Download the Pentair Home app. I had to create a new account and enter the # of my intelleconnect box. It's working like it should. I can finally control my pool from my phone again.
I initially liked the app but after 3 months it is slow and erratic about half the time. Considering the cost of the equipment it operates, I expected something that functioned reliably.
Works great, except when it doesn't work at all. I get logged out and am unable to log back in with even with the right credentials. This app really needs some work.
This is quite possibly the worst app I've ever had on my phone. I've asked repeatedly for the developers to do an update to no avail. The ridiculous lag and then the app just going offline for no reason. Its horrible and don't recommend it at all.
Seriously one of the worst apps ever. Very hard to use and constantly logs you out. Then once logged out can't get back in until you change your password.
Worst app I have ever used. Launch the app...it kicks me out. Try to enter login detail and it just continues to tell me I have the wrong email or password. Then, randomly it logs me in only to get kicked out again. Seriously Pentair stick to making pumps and heaters...your app sucks!
One word. Disaster. Too many bugs. When is developer going respond. I demand having a remote control to be able to enjoy the features of the lights I purchased. When is an update going to be available???
This is the worst app I've ever used. It constantly goes offline which makes it unusable. Logging off and logging back in to the app doesn't help.
Worked ok but slow at first, but now I cannot log in even with the correct credentials. Was always very slow.
products are great app not so much.. continously have to reinstall app.. light works but cant change the color now.. reinstalled twice no help..
Password reset doesn't work. Goes to page that shows NGINX bad gateway. If you need a seasoned app developer let me know. I build enterprise apps for a living.
One of the most HORRIBLE apps I've ever downloaded, and unfortunately HAVE TO have it for my pool. DEVELOPERS, FIX THIS $&>T ALREADY!!!

This is the WORST app I have ever used! (And I used to program, I'm computer literate). Doesn't work 1/2 the time, when it does it's super slow to respond and it's NOT my internet speed or connection! I absolutely HATE this app and wished I had purchased a different light mainly because this is so unresponsive and to use the box outside to control the light is a nightmare! Just as hard if not harder. We had to have the light replaced after only approx. 6 months because it was faulty. New light, same unresponsive app, same problems. I cannot recommend this product at all. I agree with another reviewer, one star is generous. I would give it no stars. Seriously.
