Works well but please add a feature to change the length of a test.
Two annoying problems with this app: (1) it still has sound effects that cannot be turned off (so it gives you a subtle reference point prior to practicing absolute pitch), and (2) slow startup time. If those could be fixed, I'd rate it 5 out of 5 because it otherwise works exactly like it should to help develop absolute pitch.
Totally useless without config options that are only available in paid version. It's really just a preview from people too dishonest to depend on the value of their app to make sales.
In the unpaid version there's no way of assimilating any learning that may be going on. That just turns it into a pointless random guessing game.
Never managed to open this app. Always Gives me unfortunately perfect pitch stopped. Haven't got a chance even to try it.
I think you should add more instrument sounds, and also an option to play multiple notes at once. But it's pretty good so far, keep it up! 👍 By the way, can you also add an option for A=432hz tuning?
This is a great app, well worth the money. The only thing that would make it more useful is a transpose function, so you can learn in a key other than C, Ive emailed the author, I hope it gets implemented!
I swear I can't tell D from B to save my life.
Great app. Only thing is I'd like to disable the intro music so I don't hear any notes till the actual training. Also would be cool if we could use different sounds.
Suggestion: when choosing note names do, re mi..., please give the right answer using the same names instead of C, D, E...
Absolute pitch or more commonly referred to as perfect pitch is not learned or taught nor can it be memorized by constantly hitting the same tone over and over. Perfect pitch is typically unlock as a child. This ability is said that 1 out of 10,000 can do this. This ability relies on a synthetic process (pretty much how we distinguish red from blue) alone, not by memory, however this ability can be unlocked, if have the "know how".
Best trainer I have found so far. Free version isnt for beginner though, since you cant change the range of notes.
0 if I could plz fix how much space it takes away plz delete some things
I cant even hear a tone
It sounds good, but I couldn't understand exactly how to use it. I'm not an experienced musician, so I would've liked some sort of cue that the sound was for the next test & not for the button that I just pushed.
I like the app. However I think it would be better if the user could decide when to advance to the next note. You get the notification which tells you that you have correctly identified A and B is played simultaneously. It's a bit confusing.
Don't bother installing of you go for the free version. As for the paid version, I have no clue.
Very limited. You can't even set settings in free version!
Simple and easy to use, thanks for using note names! I will be using this app regularly!
Best perfect pitch app ive tried due to layout and simplicity
Uninstalled, because when you get one wrong: it should play the note you picked; and then play the note asked for. (That's the way we learn). It also doesn't let you include # or b, until upgrading.
A lot of other ear training apps missed the simple function of just trying to identify a single note. This is it! Thank you.
Boring layout, would like to see option to play notes for reference.
Not fast enough to use
I can't download it it has bad magnifies
Thanks for making this app
I think it's a good app but it really should also play the note you've missed. It's kinda hard to get it right consistently without a reference. I don't actually know the difference between the notes. If I could play the C's, A's, etc, I could learn how they actually sound.
