The widgets are the size I was looking for and I like the widget customisation options. I would appreciate an option to set the level of transparency for the widget background, rather than just opaque/transparent. The widgets take some time to update when the phone comes out of standby (e.g. in the morning, it seems they update when the minute figure changes). Using a SGS2.
Widget won't change time. Set it to GMT - 7 and varies from 6 to 24 hours off. Hasn't been accurate in over a week. Doesn't stay accurate with reboots or reinstallation. Email to the dev has failed per the mailer daemon - looks like this app is done for.
Not only great for a person travelling, but for their family at home to use to know when their travelling family member is landing, etc. Very clever programming. I just noticed that Montreal at 5:47am EDT has the daytime light scheme whereas Toronto at 5:45am EDT has the nighttime light scheme. The programmers seem to be using the latitude and longitude data to estimate sunrise/sunset times; that's attention to detail. Well done.
This is the best-looking such app I've found, but it consumes battery power too much. I suspect this is because I used it as a widget. Some discussion suggests that this is an underlying OS or GPS issue, and not actually the app's fault.
I found none of the cities I needed. Like interface, but i uninstalled mmediately see this app was useless for my work.
I have friends all over the world I talk with. This let's me see a list of clocks with their name and time on each one. The only thing that is off is that for my friends in Australia it is tomorrow and it does not indicate that. But all times are right on!
Works good, easy to set up! BUT: 1) Size of numbers is not changing, when i change the widget size. They stay small. 2) no logical date format is supported. All formats have this unlogical, funny order of showing the day in the middle. Thats so confusing that i had to hide the date!
This app would get 5 stars if it wasn't such a battery hog. It's currently using up 84% of my battery usage. Please fix because everything else about this app is better than others I've found.
Showed me outdated time when I came ro another time zone. Since then I started using accuweather clock widget.
Anything but perfect. A fundamental requirement is that it updates the time in real time. For whatever reason it often lags requiring the user to access options and then exiting without changing anything. That seems to trigger an update. Come on André, sort it out.
This has my favorite world clock widgets. Basic with no color options yet highly functional. I still use it on my non-Android 5.x device, but it seems to have a freezing issue on 5.x when the lockscreen is activated. Unfortunately, I think the developer has abandoned this app and I haven't found a better replacement for the widgets.
I really like this world clock because it is sleek and very easy to use and it tells me the time for other countries. I want to see the time in other countries even when I am asleep and I like the look of the black and white for the night and day displays because it's so pretty.
App causes GPS to locate even when GPS functionality is turned off in settings. Uniinstalled. Moto Atrix
This Perfect World clock is very good but why some cities below 15,000 people or some are above it but is not displayed? I think you must put all cities in the world including suburbs, villages, and etc.. I've done all cities research on Wiki ( e.g Bree, Belgium 15000+ people then i type bree or brèe it did'nt appear). Hope to fix that soon. G4 Beat user.
Uses a lot of battery - why a clock application uses so much GPS I really don't understand. There really is no need to use GPS all the time.
Ive been looking for a widget that would only display the country's timezone. Nothing else but jist the time and date. The other world clock widgets are so annoying and useless. They include the system time and the countries are selected. This app is very simple yet useful! Exactly what im looking for. Thanks!!!
I used this app on older devices with no problems at all, but on my JB device this app drains battery like mad - 26% in a few hours just because the app is constantly trying to get a GPS Position even when I've manually disabled the feature in the options dialog. This is a no-go.
I've used this on a galaxy Nexus, Moto x and now a Nexus 6P. It works well and does everything you'd need but it is consistently one of the biggest battery drains on all the devices I've used it with.
My team is in India and US west/east coast. Works great. Only issue is that it is 5m in size and does not allow itself to be moved to SD card. 5 stars if they add ability to move to SD card.
Doesnt even have the capital city of the country my wife is from and visits often. Pointless. Needs more work. . .
I was initially really happy with this app, it looks nice. Then I realised the clocks on the widgets were from by about 4 hours! System clock is correct and so is the time within the app when I open it, but the widgets don't display correctly making this app a complete waste of time.
Latest version was keeping GPS on, draining my battery. If that gets fixed, I'll reinstall and be a happy user again.
I had it for a very long time and it worked really good. After last update I've to uninstall due to the GPS issue
I wanted a clock to show the time for the place in China where my wife is about to travel. I put the name of the city into the app... Nothing. Then I just put China in.. Still nothing. Then I scrolled through the full list of names and there it was! So I clicked on it... No response. Then I entered the full name exactly as it appears on the list.. Nothing! Fix the search, etc.
