- Car Onboard Dyno & Timer is an application allowing you to measure the performances of your car, such as its real power, torque, and acceleration times. It doesn’t require any connection to your car. Results are provided as detailed reports featuring interactive charts.
How does PerfExpert dyno works ? It's simple :1. Create your car profile => Describe your car to PerfExpert by providing information such as curb weight, tire sizes or engine displacement. If you don't know how to find your car's specifications, we help you to do so.2. Mount your phone in your car => No need to connect your phone to your car. With your phone firmly mounted inside your car, PerfExpert can rely on its internal sensors to measure the real acceleration of your car.3. Accelerate through the entire engine rev range => On a flat, straight and horizontal road, perform an acceleration from low rev to the maximum rev, keeping the same gear : that's it!
IMPORTANT : dyno test is not compatible with automatic gearboxes that doesn't have a manual mode.
With such a tool, you can check the efficiency of your various tunings, ECU mapping, chiptuning, and even your chassis settings.
Using the specification of the tested car and your device’s accelerometer, the application runs our algorithms and dynamic power loss calculations to provide the performances of your car with high accuracy.

Looks like a decent app but can never get a successful run. It always throws an error with some reason why it can't produce results. I get that they are trying to be as accurate as possible, but I would rather see a warning that results may be off then constantly stonewalled.
Tried this app because of the developers efforts. Wanted to see gearing and rpm calculation applied to an HP app. So far so good. The option for entering weather manually is good for stopping extra weather updates.
Very good measurements, WHEN I managed to make it work. 80% of times it stops and tells me max power at 2700-2800 rpm which is a lot lower than the max power at 4000 rpm. It just stops measuring at about 3000. But when it does say the real max power. it measures it really well.
App doesnt even have my car version. Cant even use the app at all😤 PSA for those looking at this app, it took customer support 8 months to reply to the original comment before the emoji. I POSTED THIS SEPTEMBER OF 2019 My rating will not change thanks. This is a true testament to the quality of the product free or not. Reply 2.0: just so your aware your rating on Play Store should be your concern not someone that deleted your garage app 8 months ago. I use Force OBD2 now.
Unbelievably distracting mountains if BS! JUST WORK!! We don't all have co-pilots full time in our employment. What a waste of money and potential this app is.
Keeps won't go past calibration mode. Literally did the same 9 steps 4 times. Wish I didn't waste $10 on it.
I'll adjust my rating when this app is updated to support 5th gear inputs. The Gen2 F150 has the 10-speed automatic transmission and dyno pulls are done in 5th gear. Please add this ASAP.
Seriously worst dyno app I have ever tried. It is so hard to do anything on the app. Save your time and effort and do not waste money
Its great app...measurments are almost like real dyno U need to calibrate the phone/tablet and set the right parameters to give u the right amount.
Hello. I have installed your app. Got error during entering account , I cannt use the app. I have screenshots, were to send it?
It crashes all the time I tried two times and now I cannot even get a refund anymore. STAY AWAY FEOM THIS APP.
Works as a charm, only issue I'm having is with the time update unable to get the weather.

Totally inaccurate. Waste of money pleade return my 10$ . I did everything it asked me to do and so so inacurate . You just took my money. Plesse refund me fully
it wont let me past the calibration it just keeps restarting calibration please help

stuck in calibration loop
Not easy to put in parameters there should be a preset parameter for the cars listed. Have a 15 genesis 3.8 this app says I'm running 170 hp....
I've tried several times to see how accurate it is, and I know my doesn't make almost a 1000hp.... way off. Paid for an app to give a false reading.
This app has saved me loads of cash, results are spot on when using accurate car specs, very satisfied!
Tried this app with a few different cars that have been on a real dyno and figures have been totally out. How do i go about getting a refund as I've only had the app a day
AWESOME APP !!! It does what is says. Tried on Renault 2.2 dci, and Toyota Avensis Verso 2.0 d4d, and on both cars everything was in specs. It's amazing how this thing is so accurate. I would like to rate this app 10 stars, but I can't find such option :) Thank you PerfExpert team for this superb application. Cheers
gave different results on the same car every time i tested it. the same car, the same road,the same gear and acceleration and weather, difference in hp mainly whiles torque was more or less ok
Had high hope for this app. It is very detailed and the configuration for you car is very technical and specific which I like alot. After I went through the calibration and car set up I could not dyno my car even on a smooth road because my sport springs are to stiff and the app gives an error message because of this. I will not change my race suspension for this to work properly. I will request a refund. It is a good app for a Lincoln Town Car.
