Permission Manager

[NEW UPDATE, 052022, Av11, A505U1] This is my favorite app. I would like to see see several major features added in the near future: (1) Backup of Entire Layout and Settings (2) History LOG of App changes (3) Search bar for apps with changes needing to be made (4) Notifications tab for new apps which have new requirements (5) Dark Theme (6) Several widgets that give you direct access to changing permissions (7) Permissions Access Counter LOG (8) Shareable Info (9) Excel History Export LOG

App worked well when first installed. Then, within a few days, there were two app updates. Each time, right after the update, a prompt for an in-app purchase and then a full screen ad popped up when I tried to open the app, and when I closed the ad, the app wouldn't load. I uninstalled and then re-installed the app each of these two times, and both times the same thing happened. Unable to use app.

Works very well on my galaxy note 8. allows fast and direct changing of app permissions which most other similar apps I looked at do not. you can also see your apps in columns by permission type, each with a toggle switch. one app kept switching camera permission back on. I discovered this was because it had permission to change system settings ! I would not have known this otherwise. a good app in my experience which does not deserve some of the criticisms giving here in reviews.

this is a great app. ive emailed dev about some visual suggestions (abilty to sort by permission enabled in categories) and bugs (when disabling a permission the app still shows it enabled, this really needs to be fixed as its impossible to trust what the app is reporting currently) but otherwise the app is perfect and very clean. it only seems to show 8 types of permission though, would be nice to display the other types .

The app is amazing, actually works, although I had to relaunch the app but it does the job ... Cons: it crashes everytime after enabling a permission if you don not press the back key. So far so good loved the app Pros:it just takes a search in play store and saves plenty of time and helps maintain mental peace.. Ty people behind this app...

Well I wish it had an option that instead of directly disable permissions, to lead me to the system app to do it, because at least in Android 8 it requires "Permission manager" accessibility feature enabled, and the system tells me that both this and Secure startup (which I use) can't both be enabled. Please let me know if there's a workaround for this (even updating to android 9) or another app. I really need Secure startup enabled.

The layout is nice, but while checking the permissions some apps will display that has some of the permissions when really there isn't any permission active. I selected the option to disable the permission, and it actually enable it. I was able to see that the permission will always display enable, on some apps, even it doesn't have the permission, the switch will move itself back to enable state. Not sure why, but is doing it with some apps.

Good, Sometimes the app accidentally sets the reverse toggle of what you want. If you wait, the app does correct itself... If you go slower, you have fewer problems. The app needs an all on/off, Category Toggle. Sometimes I want all apps in a category to be ON, clicking each app takes forever. Also, I donated, but the app had a difficult time updating to remove ads. It finally worked, but I had to clear cache, reinstall, to remove ads. Best permissions app so far.

The ads make it largely unusable because I'm clicking faster than the ad loads and that's beyond aggravating. Not only is it littered with ads, it literally doesn't do anything that Android settings don't do and most buttons even defer me to Android's settings. I expected more.

This is a great app! I was pleasantly surprised that it babysat it's apps and didn't allow the app to reset it's permissions. it also worked with every app I had. it's easy to use and I'd recommend it to anyone else wanting to have more control over what the apps in their arsenal are gathering for whatever reason 😉

Seems okay but I don't like being hit with a 30 second ad every time I open this app. I'm okay with the banner ad and maybe even 1 full screen one after like 20 minutes of using the app but not every time I open it.

Super app, just solved screen overlay issue that have been battling with on my device for days now. I like d fact that its permission access reflects in the manual settings of the device without having to go back to turn permission on manually again.

App is ok but doesn't offer the important settings. For example start at boot or run in background. Settings offered can easily be changed in the standard app settings screen.....

Opened app and ads covered page with apps I didn't want seeming to pop up demanding to be installed. uninstalled as a result. A small ad at bottom of page would be a different situation.

Be sure that you are ready to lose, at minimum, some of your data, if you use this app. It Removed any kind of possibility, for me the user, to grant or remove any kind of permission AT ALL on the entire phone, I had to factory reset, and I couldn't make a backup first!!

Thanks a lot for application maker. I really happy for problem solving. In 9 months screen overlay detected issue Tencent end. I like the application. It's free and helpful and nice application.

Very limitrd I was expecting control of CHMOD for files and folders. What I got was just a re-presentation of the OS settings.... With ads. Uninstalled. Very disappointed

Dont bother downloading. This app just sets the same settings you have access to from android gui in settings using accessibility services. Uninstalled this one and found other app with more advanced features.

it is a cool app, i would prefere tough to see all permisions an app has (those who cannot be changed also), and the special app permisions too, where admin settings and so on ...only then, would be a real permission manager

Ads are too intrusive. Didn't get a chance to test the app before a video as started playing. Immediately uninstalled after that.

Doesnt open. Just crashes and says "clear the cache to fix it" and then still keeps crashing.

Are android users really this dense? The permissions this app gives access to are the same ones that can be denied within androids own stock application manager. The only thing application manager can't do is spam you with ads, which is exactly what this useless garbage does. Wow, sheeple need to wake the f up!

Worst update ever. I installed it to allow permissions which I unable to allow it using samsung device. Utterly disappointed.

Best permission manager for screen overlay detected .It helps me very much and easly granted permission. I think so it is the best permission manager . For any source as whatsapp , paytm , file manager ........etc.

All this app does is tell you if an app you click has 'dangerous permissions'. If that is what it does, why can't it just tell you which apps have dangerous permissions? There are no apps listed in the permission tab.

I couldn't even get into the app i got bombarded with ads. I understand ads bring in revenue and nothing is for free but way too many adds maybe you should make a free 14 day trial then do the ads if people don't want to pay...
