In the absence of a mortally ill king, the Grand Vizier Zaved rules the kingdom with an iron fist, while a mysterious plague casts a dark shadow on the people of Persia. The young apothecary Tara decides do conduct her own investigation and discover the cause of the illnes before it's too late.

Ominous clouds are gathering over Persia. The good natured king Badiya is mortally ill and the demonic Grand Vizier Zaved holds his subjects in an iron grip, bringing the country to the edge of ruin. To make matters worse, a shadowy disease has appeared out of nowhere, spreading across the land. A young and talented apothecary Tara decides to find the cause of this plague and prevent it from spreading further. A quest full of puzzles and challenges awaits, one that will lead her to the far reaches of kingdom and even beyond it. Luckily for her, Tara won't be alone in this endeavour. She will be assisted by a mysterious acrobat and swordsman Darius, as well as goofy but kind-hearted geenie Minu. Will the 3 daredevils succeed in finding the source of an ancient evil and stop the impending doom? Join the quest and lead Tara to victory.

Been playing this game a while now, throughly enjoying it. Scenery is very good, well drawn and detailed, character interaction is very good and the map is brilliant and easy to use. Puzzles are easy to work out. Storyline is good, music is nice and not monotonous, another winner which is what I have come to expect from artifex mundi. Keep them coming, well worth 5 stars.
Yet another demo that's waaay to short to even know if I want to buy. Not to mention it left off at the strangest moment. But...what I did get to play really caught my interest that's for sure. The graphics, story,interaction etc... It was starting to be pretty cool. If it could've been a little longer....
Fantastic game. Definitely one of AM's best games- I would put it up there with Enigmatis. Good storyline, keeps you very involved with all the characters, and even reminds you a little of Aladdin. THIS is what a game looks like when AM really puts effort into it.
An adventure of decent length. Better than average storyline. Less variety in puzzles and not too difficult. Good fun
I like this game but only little game is available for playing free and you have to pay if you want to play further this is second time and i cannot play it which is not good you had developed a game so you should make it free....you can make some special powers which can be purchased but you have to purchase the entire game ... it's totally not done..... disappointed again
Not worth the money. False description, just a puzzle game, not only it is unworthy of money . It is even not worth a star, story copied from prince of persia, turning the original game into a stupid puzzle gme and expecting gamers to pay for it, not even worth time.
I loved this game, great storyline & graphics. I wished he had alot more mini games & a bonus level, but it was a great game!!
Game itself was great but VERY short with no bonus chapter and NOT worth $6.99. Artifex games are always more expensive which sucks but they are usually longer and have a bonus game unlike this one.
Good game with incredible graphics but the free portion was really short and there was no bonus episode.
It is a good game but not so much as it is very short game that we can play we have to pay if we want to play further . Only this thing I didn't like in the all artifex mundi games.
This was a fun game with interesting characters and good artwork. I especially liked the nedry genie Miru, and all the apothecary recipes. Persian Nights 2 is even better though.
Enjoyed the game play. Struggling to find all the hidden palaces though. A bonus chapter would have been nice.

Remember this game coming out a couple years ago and it was still a beta but I can't believe that after all this time you still have to buy it even though it's a free download that is the dumbest thing ever
I loved the setting and I really loved the characters personalities, Tara and Darius were the best.
Loved this game and want to know when the next instalment is coming out, at the end of this games it's says there's more to come can we expect it soon, hope so.

Loved it! I literally cannot even begin to express how much I loved this game. Its characters were so very well developed that they were incredibly easy to connect to and bond with. I loved that there's was more of an actual storyline and that the characters had so much more depth than the other games of y'all's that I've played. There was just enough story to keep it interesting but not enough to make it long-winded and slow. 10/10! AWESOME game! I would love more games like this one .
