Persist - A Tale of Redemption

Very short platformer that gets everything else right. Being a Ludum Dare entry means of course it was going to be shorter than most games, but the rest was so good that I wish it would have lasted longer. The controls are very well done, which is surprising given how many games manage to get platforming wrong on mobile. And I love the aesthetics, which I have to admit are what drew me to this game in the first place. Since I've already gone through this one and finished it, I will definitely be checking out other games by this publisher.

Being made in only 48hrs this is an amazing game, the graphics are smooth, it gets progressively harder and its fun. Its a great 'half-an-hour of fun' type game, it has more of a story than it shows it would be interesting to know the full thing. The name persist is perfectly fitted, all together it is really well done. I recommended this game to everyone.

Don't download this game it's a waste of time and data. The character moves like it's walking on soap and even when I'm not touching the buttons it still keeps moving. It's moves are more like sliding than walking. Sometimes gets stuck running to the left or doesn't jump.

Not too easy and not too hard, understandably short given that it was made in under 48 hours and quite impressive. A little slippery at times but easy to get used to. I'd love to see a full fledged version of this and learn more about the characters. <3

Very fun game, and I love the makers and the other games they've put out, but this is barely a game. I wish it could've been longer, it took more time installing them it took to complete, I finished in less than 5 minutes.

the story is amazing despite how little we know of it. the graphics are really nice and the clours are really nice with the sort of atmosphere you have going on. i honestly love this game and even thouh i have one complaint(i will tell ya in a sec) i still give it 5 stars. its short but honestly i dont care and really want a persist 2, maybe going into what happened that made the pov character want forgiveness? but anyways, it was really hard to see where you are at the last stage, fix that pls.

Cute game, but the character runs like he's on an infinite ice level. when he jumps he overshots a lot. if the character is gonna have a huge jump them space out the platforms more so the character doesn't end up jumping over it.

This is one of those examples of how touchscreen controls should work on a smart device. Nice gameplay, nice story. Over all good experience

Sometimes jumps don't register or it gets stuck running left. It couldn't possibly be smudge marks on the screen since I kept wiping it thinking that was the issue.

Great story and levels. Its a great game if you want to play a quick 30 min game. However, all of the platformibg feels like an ice level, not much traction

I played this years back and had it stuck in my brain then stumbled upon it again and every time I do it's just as lovely. ❤️

This app is awesome but the whenever I press the controll the character moves too quick ... also there is no checkpoint or save game process... Please add skins/mod wahahah

Only problem with platforming. But it's short & sweet. I really like the ending. Great job at 48 hours of work. I appreciate it.

That was truly enjoyable. I love games like this that are an experience and a story. It will stick with me. Well done :)

It's really aggravates me on the part and it's really aggravating me the map Creator the creator of the game should make it lower so the person get through

This game is just great! Even if you can finish this game in under 10 minutes, this game still manages to make me feel content.

The controls are not good and the charecter when he runs is so smooth he can't stop
