Good idea, doesn't work. Love that I can set up target zones and work toward improving every workout. The problem is that about every other workout restarts without warning, often with only one minute left! It doesn't even save progress. It's just not workable and definitely not worth what I paid. Really disappointing.

I absolutely love this app. I actually look forward to going out for a run and have loved seeing my fitness number move up in to the excellent category after just a few weeks. I love not being bothered about pace and just concentrating on being in the right zone and feeling comfortable with most of the runs being an easy effort but having the energy to enjoy a high intensity workout. There's so much to choose from and I'd recommend it to anyone at any level

It's been almost a year with PEAR and I'm on the fence. THE GOOD: outstanding, motivating human coaches, variety of trainings and plans, running with intervals and in heart zones, great insights from trainings, assuming you get readings. THE BAD: I can't get right readings in 50% of cases. End summary screen pops up in the middle of an exercise, GPS not recognized, no count of steps ever, wrong distance, app stuck reading same heart rate from S3, app crashing for a month. It's frustrating.

Awful, no option to register height and weight in metric system. Thanks for the reply, yeah I didnt even got there, I mean when you are going to register there is no option to change systems, you are forced to go do the calculations on your own to register with imperial, then I guess change it as you explained, this should be easy to do from start, I installed and subscribed to Jefit, and also checked BodBot and GymDone Workout, they all gave an option to register in either system from start

I like the app because it offers a wide variety of exercises for practically anything you're looking for. But what I wish you all would do is allow us to see the trainer throughout the workout. I don't like how you have to toggle back and forth to review the exercise. The trainer should be visual throughout the entire session. If that makes sense. I know you can review the exercises before starting but you're not going to remember everything and then you have to pause go back to the example.

Used this app very regularly, upgraded to the watch Active2 from the old one and now ...nothing. I've seen responses to posts indicating a fix is near... I've cancelled the subscription renewal for now, I'm hoping to keep it after a fix because I really like the application, I just want to use my technology as intended. I have not found a replacement so there is the opportunity.

the app is great... has a lot of great workouts. can't give the full 5 stars because it is a hard app to use when you have the Samsung galaxy watch and the plantronics backbeat fit. everything becomes laggy and the sensors are not read very well through the app, not the watch.my watch would say a number for heart beat and the app would say another.

The workout variety is amazing. I was using another personal fitness app before and the workouts were getting very boring. This app seems to address the needs and wants of a lot of athletes. Also, the fact that I don't have to swipe after each routine makes my life easier.

When I work out on a treadmill & I set my distance, it does not transfer to Strava with the saved distance. Because an invalid distance is transmitted, Strava doesn't credit my effort properly nor can I edit it there. No new workouts in the past year. Lack of improvement in user experience in the past year Buggy with Samsung Active watch. Freezes mid-workout. Workouts don't transfer to watch. Stopped working with watch completely after last OS update. Uninstalling.

This app has brought my treadmill workouts to an entirely new level. I absolutely love the coaching and the workouts are extremely good. I honestly cannot say enough about this app. I can't wait for Winter to end and the ice to melt so I can use it on my outside runs! although I haven't done any of the yoga or strength workouts, having browsed throughbthem, I anticipate that these will follow suit with being very effective and enjoyable.

Terrible. I can't seem to sync it with my Samsung Galaxy Watch 46mm and S9+. Its detecting my watch incorrectly as Samsung Gear instead. The calibration workouts don't work properly. My heart rate is not updating correctly. Tried reinstalling but still no luck. The workouts terminate when I raise my watch to wake it up and check the time or heart rate.

Hands down the BEST running app out there! I've been running for years, for the health benefits only. But now, because of this app, I run because I LOVE it! I could go into all the features this app offeres but there aren't enough characters allowed in this review. And with a free 30 day trial, you really could just try it out yourself and see. I will say this though, something you may not get to experience in a 30 day trial is the AMAZING customer service! Get this app!

been looking for a good training app for tri and this is it! although it doesn't offer a tri specific training plan, they have extensive running, cycling, and strength training programs. only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star is the lack of integration with wahoo cadence sensor. i train indoors during winter and the app doesn't record distance/ cadence without GPS.

The programs/plans are great HOWEVER the App keeps continually crashes during workouts as mentioned by many others. The App for Samsung watch is useless, will not load downloaded programs and HR is way off by 20 - 30 BPM. Judging by all the reviews listing the same problems over and over again, it would appear development team are more interested in profit rather than delivery of a good fitness app. My advice don't subscribe until it is fixed, whenever that will be is anyone's guess!?

it could be much better, the idea is awesome. unfortunately the gear s3 and phone lose connection, the watch needs to be turned off and on, and the hr drops or increases randomly. trying all sorts to get a workaround to make my training as smooth and as fun as poss...

It is a great idea, but poorly implemented, I started running with this app and I'm enjoying it. But there are too many annoying bugs. The mobile app closes. Fail to recognise my galaxy watch active, or recognise it but the heart rate does not change.

This program no longer provides training plan integration. Existing plans cannot be deleted and cannot be synced with Gear S3 for standalone operation. Phone app does not allow me to save my profile settings. Gear S3 app stops midway through run, but voice over continues. Have had occasions where data has been lost entirely.

I'm a beginner at exercise in general and I wanted to start adding some routine cardio into my daily routine. The zero to run program was a great way to ease into a running routine. The break up the difficulty by week and you are able to repeat as many past sessions as needed until you are ready to move on. Along with maintaining a healthier eating routine, I have lost almost 14 pounds in about 5-6 weeks. I started off at 215. Would recommend this to anyone... Worth the subscription.

Dav. N. May 22, 2019

It's an OK app but the voice prompts that either promote the app (even when your a subscriber) are way to often. For a HIT workout routine it nice, as the voice prompts guide you through the workout. But if its strength session it feel it lakes a bit.

Will not connect to my Samsung Galaxy 3. I've sent emails, and only received one reply saying that they would look into a solution. I've been paying for no reason so I'm definitely canceling subscription again. It used to work great with my older Samsung watches. This used to be one of the best fitness apps out.

Chu. F. Jul 22, 2021

The app worked very well and then an update was pushed out that wiped out the heart rate workout history. Doesn't seem like they test their software changes before releasing updates. Tech Support was completely unresponsive. I like the app when it works but its not worth paying for.

The interface is great and workouts are very good. Iam having trouble connecting my samsung active watch 2. For some reason i cant find in the watch app store even when i click on the link in the pear app. One more thing to add is that the app could use more longer and advanced workouts
