Completely useless! Can't even start. Why bother publishing in Play Store if it's not thoroughly tested/debugged? Upon running spits out error "Application has violated security policies and it will be shut down (1839:7316)". Android 11. Upd. May 11, 2022. The issue is fixed with today's update. Thanks.

This app will not load on my Samsung Galaxy S22. I was told by customer service that they are experiencing issues with the Samsung S21 & S22. I was told to wait a week and try to log in again. Hopefully, it's an android 12 issue that can be resolved sooner rather then later. Another ding for Sterling is the long hold times to speak with a live person, Skye is useless. ****update April 8th, 2022, The update 2 days ago fixed the App issues. Thank you.

Update May 4, 2022 still not working and now no longer works on my wife's (not new) phone. Can no longer deposit checks via mobile. I guess we are not "valued customers". Time to find a a new bank? (previous comments date from March 2022) Not working since I moved from my multi year old Samsung s9 to the brand new Samsung s22 - come on guys we all need access to our accounts. Update April 6 - still not working and now violates security policy and is shut down but my phone OS. Come on guys! :(

Hey! It won't start on either of my phones now. It says "Security Violation. App will now quit." Please fix it! I'm out of town cos my mom is having heart surgery, and I have no other way to deposit a check and my bills are due NOW. Thank you!!

This app is frustrating I always have trouble with the fingerprint sign in, it will work once or twice then nothing & the check depositor. The picture can't see the signature, so I have to redo both sides not just the side that they can't see. Meanwhile the pic was fine!

App unusable, I open it and immediately get an error saying Application has violated security policies. Even after reinstalling. My USB debugging and all developer options are off (just to use this app)

The app isnt coming up when i press the icon. I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but it didnt change. This bank is worse than the bank it took over.

I'm having frequent issues with the Zelle application through the app. It doesn't work or disappears. I have a Samsung A12.

Crashes all the time, takes an act of God to open this app. Every website or other app it connects to eventually needs to be reconnected. Gonna be switching banks soon

3/27/22, any update yet? 3 weeks now. Anyone awake over there? May just close my accounts and move to my credit union. Everything works properly there. Just got new phone. Downloaded correct app for Sterling customers. App just hangs after launch with a small Webster logo in center of screen. App is far more convenient than webpage. Please prioritize the fix!

Application still does not work. After reading through the comments, it looks like this a a common issue that effects newer phones, which Webster bank has done nothing to fix yet. Guess it might be that time to find a new bank...

App no longer works on my phone. It gives an error message for such a short time that one needs to open the app several times to see a request to check "USB debugging" in settings. My phone does not have this setting and the app gives me no further assistance. My response: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, same problem. I am unable to deposit checks online.

Very difficult to take photos. Other banks work well under the same conditions.

Stupid programming. It flashes a msg on the screen for less than a second and quits before msg could be read.

Since you updated the app you no longer can open it or download it. It's very frustrating.

3 days of trying and I still cannot access my account through the app. I had no issues until this time.

Useless app. Cannot deposit checks, keeps telling the amount detected on the check does not match the amount entered (which is obviously not true). Also very low in functionality, poor design, cannot set up a pin like other bank apps do, have to enter password every time, which eventually forces you to start using weak password. You will not lose anything if you choose to go without it.

Gets hung up on transactions. I often am unable to deposit checks because it becomes unresponsive. Same has happened with internal transfers. This problem has occurred numerous times in different areas of the country, so can't blame it on wifi or phone service. Very frustrating. Have spoken with customer service regarding issue on several occasions. Apparently I'm the only one with this problem and they suggest I reinstall the ap. It doesn't solve the issue.

Works fine for me. Simple, direct, has what I need. I feel very comfortable with the security features. App logs me out after I click out of it and it locks up if I put in the wrong username info after a few times. Overall, beyond convenient. ALWAYS beats having to take a trip to the bank :^)

This app only works during the week. My accounts don't update during the weekend. As of 3/7/22 the app does not work, it doesn't even open on my samsung S22.

I got a new phone and now the app wont even open. All it is, is a white screen with a little W in the middle. Tried reinstalling it, still wont work and there isnt an update.

The app doesn't work for androids right now from what I was told by support. Please let me know when it gets fixed. The app when I was with Sterling worked fine.

This app doesn't work with my android phone I don't know what to do keep saying violated security policies my name is Farro paul I have being with Sterling for long time never had any problems.

Does not work on Samsung 22 ultra. It's been a few weeks since the phone was released. It seems silly that this isn't resolved.

This app is terrible it will not open ever since Webster bank took over sterling bank its been nothing but problems, I'm gonna close my account if this issue doesn't get resolved.
