A little buggy but overall a worthy investment in personal fitness. Great little app with a large selection of pre installed routines for beginners and intermediate lifters. The free version has enough features to get you to your goals. I personally bought the app to support the creator as this app has been well worth it 👌. There is a small bug where if I open the history of an exercise move and press back the app will minimise.
Really intuitive app with many routines to choose from. Even if you can't find one that works for you you can make your own. Backing up data is a real cakewalk too. Never gonna go through a workout without this app ever again. P.S. Customer support is really good. Helped me restore a purchase rather quickly and without fuss.
This app used to be great, but they kept changing everything about it until it's the mess it is now. Biggest issue: What happened to the increments system? Now every time I do a lift, it increases by 5lbs - 10lbs no matter what lift it is. Sometimes i just want the lift to stay the same. Very frustrating.
Hands the best app. So simple yet so useful. You can use any of the offered programs, edit them or create your own program and even add exercises. I have not seen other app with this freedom. I simply love it.
The best workout app I have found. Jot only does it have great fitness programs built in but you can also create your own and share with your training partner. The pro comes with warmups and many other useful features and is totally worth the money. Five stars.
I have been using this app for a few months and really enjoying it. I like workout apps where I can preload the workout ahead of time and just check off sets as I complete them. Also appreciate being able to build your own program/routine. I had a small issue recently and support team was very responsive and resolved quickly.
Long time user. Excellent app. Takes a little bit of time to make custom routines but the flexibility is excellent.
Used to be good but recently it's started losing workouts, hiding the warmup sets with no way to show them, and a bunch of other things.
This was a great app but recently I have been having too many issues. When I change the increments for an exercise the weight changes to that increment. Or when I open to look at the values for the exercise the weight aromatically change to the increment instead of the weight. It is really frustrating!
Latest update removed ability to adjust training max from main page. I can't even find out how to adjust training max in the app now. Been a long time user, time to find a new one. Disappointing.
It's the best lifting app by far. Though I don't like how whenever I change something about a program I'm running the program resets and starts from the beginning so I have to manually enter all the weights. Kind of a nitpick but it would make the app perfect really if it was fixed. I'd also like to be able to have evolving sets and reps at the same time. But maybe it's possible now and I just can't figure out how.
The only bad thing I can say is that there aren't more workouts to buy. I never purchase in app content, but I would genuinely look to buy additional workouts if someone else programmed them in.
My app of choice now. I've been using it for a few months after the app I used since 2012 stopped working and lost developer support. The routines are straightforward and simple. There isn't a ton of useless bro routines. It's mainly just the ones that are effective and widely used by experienced lifters. The interface is simple and easy to use. About the only thing missing is being able to see previous logs while inside a workout. You have to cancel the workout to check your calendar.
Decent app! Saves me from having to carry extra stuff around the gym (i.e. log book). However, my only complaint at the time is this, I wanted to test something out and develop a much different workout just to see what it would look like. After going through my steps, I selected the previous program I was using and was unable to restore my previous settings for it. I was being asked to select my weights to start the program over. I would think there should be a way to import the previous information to pick up where you left off. That is the only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars. If such an ability exists, I couldn't find it.
My favorite routine planner/tracker of them all. Fairly simple to set up and feature packed. Has everything you need to make a reverse pyramid for instance. Emailed the developer a question and s/he got back to me, was also willing to hear out any suggestions for improvement. Bought the upgrade. Basically makes *any routine* as easy to follow as the 5x5 app, and it strikes a good balance between features, complexity, and ease of use. Now I'm just focused on the routine again.
I tried the app for one month before I purchased it. It's a very comprehensive app with so many pre-designed program templates and features. I train solo and I like to customize my own training programs. This app makes it possible documenting and display report of my progress in charts. I really wanted to give 5 stars due to it's awesome support-team which is very responsive. But considering the price-tag and some important features I'd expect from it I'll give it 4 stars which is to be changed to 5 once these features are there. For beginners, be careful with the programmed automatic increments, it's a robotic increment so it could be too early for your body. Watch your body needs and adjust the app according to it. Missing features I'd love to have: - Central account with which I can use the app on different platforms instead of having to buy the app for each one. - Storing my data on cloud and syncing it between different devices I use instead of having to export and import that data manually. The app is great, I recommend it for regular body-builders who are too lazy to document everything on paper. It helped me accelerate muscle growth.
The app is fantastic but it could look a bit more refined as there's a lot going on and it looks rough in some areas, especially the color scheme. If this looked like the Stronglifts 5x5 app but functioned as it does now it would be perfect. The premium version is VERY expensive for what it is and I especially dislike that you can't add or modify routines or exercises without paying 14$, something i believe should be included in the free version of any app that claims to organize your routines.
Amazing app, updated constantly. Highly customizable. I couldn't live without it. Very functional for free but low one time pro cost so worth it compared to other apps subscription model. I've been through a few cycles of some included routines and have created my own, at the gym and with home equipment. If you can't benefit from this app you have other problems besides the app itself.
The best workout app on the Play Store! Reminiscent of Stronglift 5x5 app but even better because: 1. No monthly subscription for premium access. 2. Lots of proven programs built in from beginner to advance. Once you are done with a program you can easily transition to the next with a few simple touches. 3. Highly customizable. You can modify programs or create your own and export/backup to the cloud! Buy premium access and this will be the only workout log you'll ever need!
Today I installed the app, not with too much expectations, after it was installed came the bang. But it was a really big bang. Matey. It has all functions, calculators, training variations what is nearly possible. After I played with it for an hour, and used it for yesterday training session, I purchased the full version. I am more than happy with the app and the support as well. I had a small issue and Max replied straight for my request. All sorted now. Brilliant. Thanks again.
This app is incredible. It does everything you want it to do. You can customize everything. Never did I encounter a situation where I wished I could change this or that with the app, it lets you change whatever you want. You can select from popular programs or you can edit them to suit your needs or you can create a program from scratch. All of the exercises link to tutorial videos by good sources like Alan Thrall. The developer is a great guy that cares about the quality of his app.
One time payment, more flexibility than StrongLifts 5x5, and multiple training programs. Definitely worth the pro upgrade. Free version is good too, but the ads at the end of a workout override your music 😂. Switched from SL5x5 app to this one because it is so much better. My only recommendation to the devs would be to make the set/rep buttons bigger, they can be hard to hit after doing a hard set when your muscles are shaking. Also the app seems to be slightly CPU intensive.
Great but the math is kind of untrustworthy. Increments don't increase some weeks and my changes and improvements often go missed and unrecorded. Sometimes the dates in my history appear wrong. 1rm doesn't translate properly when I end one program and begin another. However it's got a good list of workouts and is fairly user friendly.
