Love the idea, but fails before starting. Can only use biometric security to 'unlock app' during the setup process. I don't use biometric security on my phone, and there doesn't appear to be any other option. Very disappointed.

I see that requests for silver and platinum have been going on for a few years and you always say "by the end of this year" so im counting it as a lie. Otherwise it looks like a moderately good app. It needs a update on its graphics and accessibility to rates and potentials. Im also unnerved by its lack of password protection and only reliant on biometrics for security.

The verification process is tedious to say the least. What's evident is there are some very manual processes behind it. Still once it's verified it's easy to trade, even in tiny amounts e.g. 0.01oz of gold which makes it easy to build a portfolio over time. Recent updates to the app including biometric authentication is great and the addition to trade silver is warmly welcomed.

Yay for the update! But 3 things would make this app great.. PayID payments instead of bank deposits. Better charts with candlestick graphs. And better investment info, such as return percentage etc. It's only by memory that I know I'm in negative, but by how much I don't know. Which is OK because this is a hedge. But I would like to know my daily and total performance. Surely not too hard to show. I like where the app is going, but it needs to show more important information.

Good app, would be great if you could add funds to your account instantly instead of the current 1-3 day wait.

The app is ok but the value of gold in dollars is always behind value on graph it's very annoying would like to see this fixed.

The recent update has been great and refreshing with a modern UI, showing trends and other informative information on the main page. All that's missing is trend/live price widgets. The price on the buy/sell menu doesn't refresh every 15 seconds as is suggested, having a home screen widget with a live price would still be better.

Great idea, app is skinny on bells and whisles and appears basic at best but it functions. On the downside ,despite claims that the bank transfers of cash are updated "many times a day" I find a 14 hour delay between deposiing cash and actually being able to purchase gold totally unacceptaable especially in a rising market when. the difference between a trade being viable or not can depend on rapid if not instant updates of accounts.

Great experience. Would love to see an alert option added for trading values.

Fantastic! Works great. I have bought and sold many times now easily withdrawing cash back into my personal account. Can't get better then that. I highly recommend the goldpass app.

Fix your damn app! I have tried 3 times to get this app running. Confirmation email doesn't come through and the app keeps crashing. It looks so promising but it just doesn't work. Disappointed

A good App. I like it. It bothered me briefly with the security upgrade making it necessary for me to upgrade my phone. One issue. Not sure how best to print annual statement for tax return.

I would like to see the integration of 2 factor verification. I suffer from dermatitis on my hands and relying on fingerprint scanner is doing my head in. I also imagine I will need to contact the mint if I get a new phone where 2 factor verification as a secondary mechanism to get in to your account would fix that problem. Also it would allow you to login to the mint website if you are abroad and don't have roaming on your mobile phone.

Fairly easy to use. Keeping money in your online wallet is great as you can buy and sell straight away. Would suggest when buying to be able to put in cash amount of gold as well eg $500 instead of 0.2404 ounce. Will get 5 stars when we're able to buy other precious metals through the app. Hurry up ;)

Deposits into goldpass can take days. I'm sure it's for security on both sides so no problem. I would like to buy/sell silver through this app too. Overall I am pleased with the app.

Nice and easy to use app. but the deposit is really slow. if it can team up with paypal or link to major bank. ot will be way better. also would be nice if i can set A target price to buy or sell

Just ran the update and tryed to confirm my number and it still instantly expires the code. I dont understand why it does this

I appreciate the stringent verification process and have been a customer of the mint for many years. The app has a lot of potential but I would like to suggest offering other metals like silver to purchase.

I was loving this app. I'm very pleased to see silver added...FINALLY! Unfortunately, the silver history chart is not showing accurate information. This app should be a one stop shop. I don't want to have to go somewhere else to get the information I need.

I would give it 4 stars but depositing money into your account takes too long. Don't blame it on the bank. I buy crypto on other websites and using other apps. Even transferring money between banks with osko is done in minutes. Having to wait hours is too long. Fix the app! one star now.

Either Perth/JPMorgan or my bank keeps removing my linked bank account. My bank says they are not doing it. This means I can't transfer USD in or out to buy/sell. Please add a Credit/Debit option for those of us that are having problems. Or if it's an AML issue, maybe offer Plaid as a bank Authenticator instead of having to do ACH. I currently use Glint because I can use a debit card, but I would rather buy from Perth (I own many retail Perth bars and rounds). Also: Silver please!

The new app interface really nice and look professional. love the gold price chart. makes buying gold experience really nice and easy . suit 2020 life style.

Good premise and design but the UX is tedious if you actually want to go ahead and purchase anything you have to verify your bank, which for me means sending a statement and its a Friday, this will take days to verify, so be warned if you're expecting to get set up right away (like many modern exchanges nowadays) you'll be disappointed

Hi Would like to add my voice to some of the recent posts. The speed and available options for adding funds and the option of purchasing silver would be great improvements.

Downloaded wanted security to be on the phone, put a pin and then it doesn't accept a working email. Deleted. All the gold in Australia and you can't get an app to work.

Since the update, I have been stuck in a loop whenever I try and open the app. I cannot check my account value. Edit: tried again after the below response - it still doesn't work Edit : still not working 1 year later...

Upon installing the thing i proceeded to the unlock wallet step whereupon my fingerprint failed to unlock the wallet. Relying on 1 method to unlock wallet is fraught with failure as fingerprint is easily compromised by medical condition or seasonal conditions i.e dry skin flaking, dermatitis, injury etc etc etc. Suggest making other options available such as sms code or pin or facial recognition. Im uninstalling it as ive been permanently locked out during the setup phase. : ((

App will only let me log in with my finger print. But my finger print sensor on my phone doesn't work, so can't log in. Good thing there are other apps on which I can buy gold token.

I am not seeing the same issues as the others are. Deposits are reasonably paced. Never had issue on setup or unlocking etc. Looking forward to when we can purchase Silver and potentially other assets, is that something planned? Thanks.

Slow to get started, because there is a lot of security, but once your set up it is very easy to trade and see gold prices. Oh. And it's Aussies!
