Lots of good info, I like the quizzes because you need to have the info already in your mind in an emergency. The quizzes help me make the info ready when needed.
Good app but...I shared to a Facebook group, but after that I can Only share to Facebook groups i can't share to my own wall or other opinions, no choices come up anymore just fb groups please fix then 5 stars
🐈 A great guide for cat and dog basic first aid! 🐕 While not a replacement for proper veterinary care, this app is very well done and easy to follow, full of useful info for dealing with a large variety of problems pet owners might face - with not just facts, but also videos to guide you in performing emergency first aid properly. It even has a place to put your vet's emergency contact number for quick reference, and quizzes so you can test yourself on what you've learned. Highly recommended!
Closes as soon as it pops up in portrait mode on Android 11.
Purrrrrfect. This will help in case of emergency, but it does make sense why call a vet, they have experiences.
This app is very informative. Included within app is a variety of Important information about keeping your pet healthy. Gives advice on what to do in case of certain situations, many are listed & details are included. From what I can tell it's a free app without any ads thus far which I've been reading different aspects of the app 4 the last 45 minutes& have yet to encounter even 1ad.. That's a huge plus. No issues aside from being able 2 input my puppies age of 5 months they do not have that op
I think most people reviewing this app like the idea, but haven't tried to use it. We travel often with our pets, and live in a disaster-prone area, thought this could be useful info. Every time I've tried to look something up, the app describes the symptoms and then says to call a vet. No meaningful guidance whatsoever. I think the Red Cross is more worried about their liability than giving good advice. Will be deleting and buying a vet tech emergency textbook.
Awesome app. I encourage everyone to get this. Lots info in a small well organized app. Info is right along with the certificatation course I took. thank you!!! love the pet profiles for your animals.
Very informative! I really appreciate the quizzes the app offers to test your knowledge and keep your skills sharp for situations where first aid is needed.
Must have app for all of us with pets . It is the most useful app I have and the best of its kind. I learned what's my cats vital signs should be ans how to perform CPR if need arises. Also this app is for both dogs and cat medical emergencies.
Could have a lot more information on What to do. Most answeres are " take the animal to your vet" that goes without saying to most people. A lot of emergencys occur on a weekend or holiday and many people in rural areas can be 100 miles or more away from the nearest 24 hour veterinary hospital Adding more indepth information would be helpful.
videos would be super helpful!😊 a quick video demonstrating the Heimlich or cpr for emergencies where you can't read text!
Some quizzes wouldn't fully load, but overall it's educational. I'd like a search feature...eg bee-stings
this is very useful for when you have an emergency with your animals. It's not always easy to find someone if you have an emergency in the middle of the night but this gives you basic tips and tricks
Clear and simple. Straight to the point which is especially important when your little fur baby is hurting. You want answers immediately.
Wow! Love this! I am a certified professional pet sitter... I have the Red Cross Basic First Aid books and CPR cd's for cats and dogs, but this is so handy to have basically the same thing on my phone now, plus the feature of adding pet info of your own.
Extremely intuitive and well laid out. Knowing I have the app allows me to handle most medical situations.
I wish the app covered the amount of any given substance that may be dangerous given a dog or cat's size, health status, etc. I understand they don't want to discourage humans from seeking help when they should, though. One thing I do think should be changed: "tylenol/acetaminophen" is listed separately from "pain relievers," and since it comes later alphabetically, a human checking the list of toxic substances could stop at "pain relievers" and never see the information they need.
Left out first-Aid info about Vomiting. My dog was throwing up and went to use your app but nothing there for nausea and vomiting. Also didn't see anything there for pain. Otherwise, it's a solid app!
Very informative, correct, easy to understand information and tools to help pets!
As someone who has been a Vet Tech for many years, this app is a must for pet owners! Thorough, yet concise. Thank you for this!!
Alot of very helpful information. Life saving information and more! Great app and thanks for it.
App fails as soon as it is started. Same happens after uninstall & re-install.
everyone should have this app if they own a dog or cat. user friendly. immediate info and treatments, no waiting for internet searches
very helpful and informative. I have more confidence knowing how to handle emergency health issues
this app is very informative but this app would have 5 star rating if it also has exotic/ reptile other kinds of pets information add those then this review would change.
This app kept crashing when I tried to open it. Uninstalling!
Best pet health app ever! No joke!!! Good UI and it even has a feature that shows nearby pet friendly hotels!
