This technology is great. I can connect before going on a walk and the bluetooth lets me make behavior corrections on the fly. It is limited to bluetooth range, just like any device, so don't expect to be able to let them run a dog park and be able to use it. This also allows the dealer to do support remotely (saving me money!) AND it is a simple interface where I can adjust levels with the tap of my phone.
I love the clear design of the website! It seems easy to use and has a simple interface, but I can't get it to connect to my collar. I've tried numerous times to stand near the actually prong collar and the reciever box. I've turned on my bluetooth and reset my phone. I've also unplugged the reciever, but nothing. Hoping to get this fixed soon!
This app is pretty bad. It logs you out almost every 10 minutes and disconnects from the collar every time the phone goes idle for a few minutes. Then it takes at least 2 minutes to reconnect, by which time the moment to effectively remind your pup that she is doing something wrong has passed. Probably the most frustrating app I've ever had the misfortune of using. Additionally, the secondary user account has never been able to find our dog's collar.
I'm so disappointed with this app!! - just installed the system yesterday and I have two collars - its impossible to connect to the each collar in time for indoor corrections, which I was really looking forward to. Great app features, but totally useless if I cant use them. Always says its 'taking too long to connect' and freezes up. Fix it App Developers!! C'mon!!
Barely works with Android. My husband's iPhone connects to end collar with no issue. I have "automatically connect" marked, however I always have to search for the collar. I rarely get connected usually it fails no matter how close the collar is. The app itself is nice. I do wish there was a correction widget.
This app didn't install properly on my Galaxy S8+, nor on my wife's. It does not appear on my app list, so to get it I have to scroll through installed apps on Google Play. I uninstalled and tried again, no luck. Not real handy if a quick correction is needed. Makes me doubt my purchase, as this speaks to quality. Someone tested on an iPhone and assumed all was good. There are more Samsung than iPhones out there. Fix this.
Poor use indoor training hard to connect with wifi. Great outdoor training, haven't had to chase our Ruby the neighborhood runner since we've had the system. 4 stars because of the poor quality indoors. Customer service is great and service personnel are very knowledgeable and helpful when putting system in. Would highly recommend if you have a runner or fence jumper.
Edit 5/12/20Continues to have slow connection and customer service isnt helpful. Would nto recommend at all. We paid over $2000 for the fence qith the collar being $600 and we are constantly having issues with connection with this app to the collar. 12/2019Slow connection for indoor training. The last few days we havent been able to connect at all. So frustrating when paid extra to have the phone option verse an actual remote.
I am totally disappointed with this app. We had your system installed on March 8 2020. This app has not worked once since the system was installed. I paid extra for the system because I thought the app would be useful. I was told by the installer that an update was coming that would solve the problems but that has not happened yet. I am hoping that this situation will be addressed in the very near future.
The collars work fantastic for boundary training with the pet stop electric fence. Very happy with that part of it. However, I paid extra for these link collars for correctional training my 2 pups (i was trying to avoid having to change between two different collars for the electric fence and correctional training). I was so excited but now im very disappointed. This app is very glitchy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. (when it does work, its tolerable) I constantly get an error message saying "warning, this is taking way too long please reset" and I'm thinking to myself " tell me something I dont know". It's very unpredictable. By the time it finally connects to the collars (while one day it may take 5 seconds to connect to the collars, other times it flat out refuses to connect) the pups have already moved on and forgotten thier bad behavior. I'm going to have to use a different collar for correctional training now. Its throwing a huge damper in training my puppies and I wish I had remote rather than using this app. Not sure if something like that is available but it would be nice.
Not ready for core business product - No one person who uses this app will actually think it is the best it can be. Either it was rushed to market or there is a soild reason no one else uses blue tooth for dog trainin; Either way, the price point is one I would likely not recommend to friends and family. The fence is a differet product and review. update 4/30: The canned response to use the app for support suggests a lack of transparentcy in the Google apps listing. Shame on you guys.
this receiver collar has been a long time coming! the new app update allows you to connect to a collar instantly upon opening the app. It's also really nice not to be a slave to the need for a battery. The nightlight feature is handy too.
Using as a remote trainer is not feasible. I chose this company over Invisible Fence purely for the app and remote trainer. It's never connected to my phone when I need it. Half the time I need to log in. The other times it can't recognize the collar a few feet from my phone. I will have to buy a remote trainer for correctional training feedback. So disappointed.
OK for the basics. App stopped connecting to one of my dogs collars and keeps prompting for pin. Sometimes takes a while to connect even when in close range. Works for basic adjustments but not much else.
Technology isn't there. Disconnects from collar when dog is 10 feet away. Does not reconnect on it's own. Takes too long to connect then the behavior you want to correct, the dog isn't doing it anymore.
I am having great difficulty with this app. It worked for a couple weeks and now does not. I have gone through the troubleshooting steps several times with no luck. The concept is great but it is not working with my Samsung Galaxy S10+
We have had it almost a year now and it doesn't work on Android. It takes way too long to pull up and the you have to push up the bar so the dog hears or feels it. Some of our dogs you can't even get on the page.
Used to work great, after the last update which was in May of 2019 the remote trainer will no longer connect. I can't even check on the battery for the collar anymore. I think it's time for a new update!
Can't connect, after the last update I have not been able to connect to my dogs collar. My wife's phone will connect (same model phone). Mine continually asks for a pin number to pair with the Blu Tooth. Very irritating.
Terrible app...it no longer connects to the collar since upgrading my phone. Don't buy this fence system if you have an android phone and actually want to use the app to train your dog. They've said for a couple months now that a new app is coming to fix the android issue but still nothing....extremely disappointed!
horribly slow, makes it impossible to react in time for corrections. range is extremely limited. often loses connection .
The staff are great to work with , and after the 2nd training session my 2 dogs were trained to the fence. If you have any problems after they are rt there to help you. Starting the new year 2020 love the fence. Absolutely no problems my dogs are so happy now they can run and play.
It rarely works. Can never repeat same task twice. now i can't even connect my collar to app. I know the collar works cause i took it too the boundary. I really dislike this app
Not even worth having on phone. Rarely connects and when it does doesnt work. Thought after a year there would be some development in it, but nope just a gimmick that doesnt even pay to use.
Thought it was a good system until just recently collars are always Disconnected and always having a problem with logging in. I find the system useless if you let your dogs out and they run out of yard and no correction is given and come to find out collars have Disconnected. I paid over $1000.00 for a faulty system not happy
Unresponsive and drops often. Not worth the extra cost from the basic version of the perimeter fence package.
Great concept but rarely connects with android. Very frustrating. Cannot connect with collars when feet away.
Worst app I've ever used, never connects, they've sent me 3 different collars now and it's useless. I regret using this company as a result of this app. Thankfully I move to a new home soon and will do my due diligence first!!! Fix this app and I'll change the rating
The app keeps going off line, and I constantly have to reinstall. Most of the time this doesn't even work. A pain in the booty.
Rarely connects, and when it does, it disconnects right away. The remote trainer is absolutely useless. The fix that was suggested to me was to put the collar in the charger, log out of the app, restart my phone, take the collar off the charger, log back into the app, then connect. This is at least a 5 minute process, and it still doesn't stay connected if I can actually get it to connect. If it could be reliable, I would increase my rating to 4 stars. A widget for training would be amazing.
