Pet To Give

Unfortunately, this app hasn't worked in months. Sometime after an OS upgrade on my phone Pet To Give stopped working. I get notifications that it's time to pet but when I open it, it tells me it's waiting on a response from the server. The cat in the photo says "Needs Internetz". Well, I HAVE "internetz" that works fine for everything else. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the app but that didn't help. The app hasn't been updated since April 2019...I think it's overdue.

Use this app on three devices, twice a day. After the last update, it says there is no internet connection, when in fact there is. Only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall, which is getting VERY old. Though I love to help shelter pets, am considering uninstalling for good unless they fix this constant and irritating glitch. June 11th, still having the exact same crashing issue! fix the app please! it is VERY irritating to have to uninstall and reinstall the app every few days!!!!

Fun to use! Cute animal pictures with adorable little quotes. I never have issues with the app. I do wish it gave reminders to pet. I want to help as much as I can but sometimes forget. Update: 6/10/2021 App never wants to work now. Just stays on load screen or says there is no internet connection. I will have to delete it and just use the website. I miss the cute animal pictures.

App is working again, and kept the number of times I had already petted! Love knowing I'm again helping animals in need. From Sept. 2020: Love this app when it's working, but starting today, it keeps notifying me to pet, but the app won't load any pets and just hangs on the Loading icon. Looks like others are having similar problems with your server not responding, so I'm sure this needs to be fixed on your end, and nothing I can do until someone fixes this problem.

I have installed and uninstalled numerous times over the past several months. it doesn't work since they "upgraded" it. They also have told me several times they would fix it. I think they just gave up on fixing. I also keep seeing message that I need internet. it would be interesting to know if this is an android problem. I used to have iPhone and it worked on that.

Love this app and how it helps, but I have been getting server not responding for weeks. Uninstall and reinstall didn't help. ☹️ Update : When I open the app, my phone vibrates five or six times. It then just gets stuck loading. Android, Samsung Note 9. Edit : Just saw the comment that the app is no longer supported. Disappointing, since I use mostly my mobile now. Even set as my homepage, it doesn't help much if I don't open my browser and see it.

I love this app.... when it works! It says updated on March 21st, but when I open it I get a message telling me I have no internet connection and I need to refresh. I have a connection and refreshing does nothing. Please fix this so we can all help feed the animals again!

I've used this app for years & loved it until now. I agree with the other users, very poor update! Everything started from scratch, there's a ridiculous hand now & as of yesterday, I'm getting several error messages including one that says no internet. Please fix this problem.

I love this app, when it's working. It's been days since I've been able to use it. I'm on an android and have problems very rarely. Whatever the issue is, please get it fixed ASAP. I don't want to have to give up on it. I would miss all the cute kitties I see and all the kibble I'm helping, supposedly, to provide.

Same problem as others I'm reading. Love this app but it is no longer working. I have used for years just fine. Now says need to connect to internet which I already am. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. Please fix as I really miss being able to provide food for the dogs and cats. Rating is one star because it is non-functioning right now, otherwise, would be a five.

I would give it five, but lately I can't pet any dogs as the app. is telling me to "refresh", the server isn't responding, and I need Internet even though my WiFi is going full blast. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and it went to the same error messages. Am VERY frustrated! I want to feed some dogs!

Worked fine until about 2 days ago. Now just spinning and says loading. Have tried everything. Uninstalled & reinstalled several times. Restarted my phone. Cleared cache & data for app multiple times. A shame for the cats because it made it a lot easier to get my clicks in.

Extremely buggy app. Can only go 2-3 days at most before it stops working and won't load. I have to keep uninstalling it and then every time I reinstall it it takes about 200 points off my pet totals. works great on my iPad; on a mobile phone not so much.

luv this app but it hasn't worked for me in a few weeks... it keeps saying need internet to refresh & I have service or hooked to wifi...my phone did a software update the other day & I was hoping between that & all the updates the app has been doing it would work... but it's still not. ***I saw another comment where they uninstalled & reinstalled & it worked again... continuous loop of uninstalling & reinstalling to get it to work... so I'm just going to uninstall***

Crashed. Like many other users the app worked fine for me for about 2 or 3 weeks. And I loved it. But now I keep getting the needs internet error message regardless of where I am. I don't have an iphone. So obviously our type of phones isn't the problem PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!!

I loved this app. But this updated version rarely works (keeps saying "needs internetz") even though I'm connected. Also says it may not be optimized for my device and I have the newest Samsung tablet. Please fix!! I hate missing out on giving free kibble!

I love the idea of the app and donating obviously, but it's not working anymore. I've used this for years on my Samsung phones, never a problem until now. I get an error message, "needz internets" and no matter what I do it doesn't load. Please fix ASAP. I emailed you also and haven't heard back...

Apparently many people are having the same issue. Worked fine until the last update. Does not load anymore, with the message "server is not responding." Clearing the cache, and reinstalling did nothing.

love the idea. been using this app for years, but it has not worked for months. i keep uninstalling and reinstalling hoping that will fix it. but it keeps saying i don't have internet when i do. i hope they fix this soon.

I LOVE this app when it's working! BUT, since the latest update, it hasn't worked. 😕 It's just a still page that says "Refresh". PLEASE fix this! I've had this app for years! I like to, and want to help feed the little peanuts! 💛🐱❤🐶💛

love the ou dea behind this app. however, I continue to run into difficulty when doing my "pets"!! It says "need internet". well it worked for two out of three. I then have to uninstall and reinstall the app. I want to help animals but this is frustrating!!

Love the app but since the update I keep getting refresh and no internet connection. It works well for a week or two then I start having problems & I need to uninstall, then reinstall the app for it to work.

worked great for years until about a month ago and now all it says is needz internets. please fix it. tried reloading app multiple times to no avail. I get notices and upgrades but it fails to work.

have loved petting the dogs knowing I was helping feed kibble. I was up to 50K and now for the past 2 weeks I have been unable to do so. Deleted the app and reinstalled 3 days ago and it was working again but put me back to zero which was ok. Then the new update comes out (3/28) so updated it and now it isn't working again. will change my stars when they fix it

I have loved using this app for years. Has not worked on my Samsung phone for about a week. Says no internet! Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still does not work. PLEASE FIX! I miss it!

love this app,love animals, app works perfect!! I have to edit my first post,bc now it alerts me to pet,but just keeps spinning and i cant get it to load I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Still nothing,update 2.26.21 Still not working anymore.

This app used to work great. I haven't been able to use it in months and months. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and it keeps says "no internet connection". I wish they would get it fixed!

After update, all 30 of my pet pics are gone..and now when I bring up the app it tells me to connect to internet..but I am connected! I've been doing Pet To Give for YEARS, But if you dont fix this you wont let us help the animals!! I deleted and downloaded again..same issue!!

I love this app, but now whenever I open it gets stuck while loading the pictures. I would love to start using it again if this gets fixed.
