PetCam App - Dog Camera App

This is a great app in the sense that I get to keep an eye on my pet when Im at work, BUT that is WHEN the app works. I paid for the full version and ever since I am having more problems than when I had the free trial. Constantly reconnecting, or unable to connect or the connection just loads and loads. Hoping for some improvement if Im going to keep the subscription.

Works off and on. Servers seem to be down a lot. The camera is about 30 second delayed (normal). The camera feed is constantly updating and often there is no sound even if I have the radio on in the background. It worked for a few days, but again the servers seem to be down a lot and I like to check on my dog and cats on my lunch break at work and if the servers down I get worried.

Changing my review. I signed up and paid for the subscription last month and I've been charged again this month, yet the app tells me I've only got 10sec streaming left (like with the free trial). Update: The same happened no for a second time, I paid but the license has not been added to my account. Haven't received a reply yet.- The app serves its purpose. Really quite sensitive to sound though, so no washing machine on in the house and tv on or you'll get notifications on your phone.

its literally up to the app on any given day if it's actually going to let me connect or not. so dumb. says "cant connect" even though I'm on wifi. try on data, still wont work. I literally have to reset the app to get it back to the set up process that asks if I have an account. then and only then will it work again. so unreliable and I'm using the paid version

I gave it 1 star because after download I cannot create account. It tells me there are invalid characters in my email. I would love to have it work and will update my review if it ever works for me!1

session began hanging once i picked receiver to connect to my petstation; it never actually received video and i couldnt click any buttons so i was stuck logged in! normally this wouldnt be a problem, a restart of the phone, or clearing app/cache data would resolve this. but somehow the session remained active such that i could not stop being a receiver which is a real bummer. since the receiver option didnt work on my device i have to kill the petstation to fix defeating the purpose of the app!

As a pet stylist it's hard to get the cute pics you want after the groom is done. This app get their attention and they make a cute face, perfect.

Nice and fast live video app. Very effective. Simple enough to use: the whole process is clear and easy to understand

The app is easy to use and set up in minutes. It remote control my old phone from anywhere is my favorite part of this app!

It's a bit slow when used outside of my wifi range and it's a bit difficult to view captured video but overall a great app

The app has all the individual streaming features like switching between front and rear cameras and night vision etc.

The app is really good. I can zoom and can have good quality and multiple devices and multiple camera views at the same time

App has lots of issues, keep getting disconnected, boots me out of my user, upgraded to premium thinking maybe that would fix it, and it didn't. Keep getting kicked out of the camera, microphone sometimes stops working so I cannot speak to pet, will be canceling subscription and looking for a better app.

This app is very good. Streaming is obviously good and it needs some new functionality for this app to work more smoothly

This app is extremely easy to install and use. It detects movement quickly and alerts. Gives me peace of mind.

5/1/2019 So I need to update my review and clarify that #1 I did not get more than 20 support emails from the developer, that is a lie, #2 I followed everything I was told even with my new phone #3 I still cannot locate my subscription for this app to cancel it #4 I was charged again even though I have been trying to cancel it #5 I had to cancel my payment methods so I don't get charged again. I feel like if I contact the developer they should help me take care of my issue, and not give me useless instructions that did not help me. They should be able to cancel a subscription if the user is having issues. Because of this they still get 1 star and they are lucky. I tried it for free then upgraded, but I could never talk to my pets because that feature never worked. I've been in touch with petcam support and I mentioned that I wanted to cancel my subscription and couldn't figure out how to do it, they explained to come back here where I bought it and that there should be an option but I didn't see it so I emailed them again a week ago and I still haven't heard from them about cancelling. petcam people if you read this please cancel my subscription.

I liked it and was ready to upgrade but when I press the button it doesn't connect to a link to purchase. Also recommending to update doesnt help if there is no update download button visible anywhere. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling and contacting customer support- so far no luck. I see another having same issue and your response was no one else is having a problem. Well I am having the same problem.

A good, fun, and clean streaming and streaming app. No disturbing features from your innovations. I love this app

Works as it should, not complicated, easy to load, easy to view on the receiver with a big frame thanks to the landscape mode. Use it to watch our dogs while traveling when we are away from the hotel room, this product is perfect for that!

Receiver stopped working after 2 days, connects to the pet station but no picture appears. Reinstalled, now it does nothing at all. Update - communication with the developers was very fast but they were unable to resolve my issue so unfortunately the app does not do what I need it to do.

This app is great and I love that you can take funny pictures with your pet I would rate this a 5 thank you so much whoever made it

I just brought home a 9 week old puppy who was struggling with separation anxiety. Her trainer has been recommending different things to help and this app has been a godsend to know what is working. It's so easy to use, the picture and sound quality is good. The landscape mode which allows me to watch it on bigger frames is amazing

This app was good to begin with, a bit glitchy but mostly functional and worth using. Now it's pretty much unusable without a subscription and to be perfectly honest I don't view the quality good enough to pay for it, as a free app I really did rate it.

editing my review. unbelievable cost to have the paid app. it went from 3.99 a month to 11.99 a month??????? ARE YOU CRAZY???? It disconnects constantly, the quality of picture isn't good, it says HD but still pixelated. redic. don't download.
