This is how it feels to buy a "luxury" pet feeder match with "third rate" app. The feeder works properly. But... the app is not. It keep show network error, http error, network busy and all kind of pop up messages. Thankfully I manage to set meal plan before it goes bonkers. I'll give 1 star for now as the app looks nice, even though not functional 80% of the time. I'll change the rating if they manage to rectify the problem.

I've had this feeder and app for 6 months and it worked great up untill the May 2022 app update. Now the auto feeder has connectivity error even though it's connected. Can do a extra feeding easily but no scheduled feedings work. Very frustrating. Reconnected several times. Please fix this bug!!! How is it supposed to feed my cats when I'm not home 😡

Clunky app aside, when it works, it's fine, albeit with a completely unnecessary social app attached. If you lose connection, however, good luck. Network Error is about all I get back from this thing for days, basically making this a really expensive cat food container that you have to open up and feed the cats yourself. Not very smart, is it?

I've had a petkit pura max for less than 48 hours so far I have been unable to connect to the app multiple times due to system busy or unavailable. My WiFi is fine my phone and litter box are in the same room but I can't change settings as their system is down or too busy. It's hit and miss if I can operate my litter box via the app. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Regretting spending money on this.

After several months of success the scheduled feeding has abruptly stopped working and hasn't for several days. The device is on the internet and manual feeding can be done but automatic feeding is gone. I've tried removing the device from the app and setting it and the schedule back up but no success.

Don't buy the feeder. Worked fine for a couple months. Now it often disconnects from the internet and won't feed your pet. The app won't alert you that a feeding was missed. You can set it so it alerts every time it does feed, which is annoying, but sort of better. However, I've noticed it says that it dispensed food but it really didn't. So basically have to check this stupid thing twice a day to make sure my pet actually got to eat. Waste of money.

Setup my Smart Feeder and Pura Max yesterday 11 May 22, and only struggled. First setup would work after that only network struggles. Then I firmware updated both devices (took a bit and then worked even tho the app said retry). Just restart the app and then version is okay. Now the app works with no issues whatsoever. Bit shaky translations but otherwise I am happy with it right now.

Couple days 3 work out where everything is. Like the argument 'IPhone's better than Samsung as IP's easy 2 use/has things S don't' but has 4 long time, just different format, unlike most apps in how displayed (but much easier way once understood). Adding a way to re-order (subscribe for) refilles,other products, anything made easier done on app would greatly help customers (internationally) & be much appreciated. If added, 5 star! **Btw, needs WIFI so won't work if bad, turns on-off on you.**

Worked great until May update. Now app doesn't work. Says feeder isn't connected to the internet for scheduled feedings, but can successfully dispense an extra feed at the same time. Clearly a bug. Needs to be fixed otherwise product is ultimately worthless.

It is often display the message "Sorry! The program is out of order!" I turn in the app 3-4 times a day, and only work one time. The ring sound is also very low, not loud enough to hear if the dog is 3-4 metres far.

Absolutely awful app, I wish I had read reviews here before buying the petkit 3 collar. First connection via Bluetooth was fine, but "sorry the programme is out of order" is the constant message received afterwards. I have tried uninstalling but is still the same, it might connect after about ten tries but this isn't good enough.

Decent app with serious flaws. Using the app with the Pura Max litterbox. For the most part the app works as expected with the litterbox, however there are noteable exceptions: WiFi Setup - The app/device does not support special characters in the wifi password. This was confirmed by Petkit support, and is quite unacceptable from a security and convenience perspective(I am not changing 50+ devices). App Performance - App actions often hang and timeout. Social Media features seem unnecessary.

Great Machine Bad App. I think my dogs would have died of hunger, if I didn't take note of the food output. There is a constant network busy error, uninstall to reinstall but now can't login due to network busy. Manually pressing is sooo slow. Bought cause of the brand, reliability now is zero.

When trying to edit the feeding plan it says " low app version please update" but on the play store my app is the latest version... I see I'm not the only one with this issue and no fix has been made yet. *update* now it just keeps saying "network error" / "opps our system is busy" when I'm obviously connected to the internet..

They keep changing the app in ways that don't make a lot of sense. I haven't gotten notifications for almost a month, so no notification for when litter box has been used and no notification of when the tray is full etc. They've also removed the log so you can't see the time of when the box was used yesterday or last week etc. The box itself still works the same, but the app has changed so much that it's lost a lot of the functionality

It's not great. Constant crashing and timeouts leave me worried my cat is going without food. These are new, the app uses to work well. It's also bloated with things you don't need.

I have a petkit self cleaning cat litter box. The only way I'd ever like this product is if the machine doesnt clean if the bin is full. Because if the bin is full and it cleans, it smears the poop all over the internals, and it makes the clean up absolutely worse. The poop gets stuck and activates the anti pinch sensors causing the cleaning to stop mid way.

Worst smart device app I have ever had. I have to remove my device and reconnect EVERY SINGLE time when I change my wifi password or have a wifi reconfiguration. Now it won't allow me to login in because of network error.

Dead pets. That's what you'll end up with if you use this product. Feeding the pet relies on petkits network and it is down. Thankfully I caught it before we left on a flight, but now I am scrambling to get someone to come over and feed our pets.

when it works it works great. but frequently loses connection to feeder and resetting it is a *pain*. Also last week it has had an issue where my 'login session expired' and it wont let me log in.

The Apps seems to be working accordingly since 25th April 2022, I read lots of complaints only after I bought PETKIT solo auto feeding on 22nd April 2022 and was experiencing dead end with the Apps, luckily the system works well after a few days. Hopefully the PETKIT Apps will no longer experience any problems. The product I bought was perfect need as I am away from home due to working, having the solo auto feeding making sure my cats has their kibble crispy instead of soggy.

Can't get past the login screen in the new version! My device is essentially useless without a functioning app. Emailed support and will update if I get a good response.

It takes a little time to figure it out at first but then it works. My suggestion for changes would be : - make it possible to change the meals for specific dates or entire weeks in the future - make an option to share the app with a friend during a vacation, permission that you can withdraw agter - now the all works with quantities that don't always correspond with the weight of your cat food so you have to figure out yourself how much cup is equivalent to your food. Would be nice to adjust

Keep prompting "network error" message and "oops, our system is bust at the moment, pls try again in a bit". Now the feeding plan is disrupted and i have to feed my pet manually. Tried logging in using another phone. And yet, the same problem.

I'm returning my order because it took 2h to set up and then it's gone offline 4 times since. This is supposed to make my life easier not harder. Disgusting given the price of the feeder.

Also getting the "Low App Version" when trying to update a feeding plan. I have the latest version of the app. Also, for an international version your English translation is pretty bad.

The new version won't allow me to change any of the feeding schedules, it says my version is too old. The older versions worked well, much better than the new version.

Works OK most of the time. Sometimes a little glitchy but can eventually make it do what I want. Great feeders and fountains!

It was working for a while but suddenly app started showing error on my feeder but I contacted support yet they did not respond/helped me solve my issue. Poor customer service.

I'm considering buying a petkit feeder and am trying the app in advance, however I can't pass the tutorial as it places the on screen instructions outside my display (I have a surface duo 2)
