The interface is so outdated looks like a kid did it on their first lesson in building apps. Information is useful and mostly up to date (few instances of 33hrs since price updated). After using GasBuddy it's definitely updated more but should replace price averages with price range (per GasBuddy) it really helps determine if fuel should be purchased now. For me personally I'll stick with using the website as backup it's too clunky.

Great app. Worked well for years. Then stopped responding. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times but still not working. Website version worked fine. This happened after a lot of app updates on my phone. Restart of phone sorted issue out and now all is well again. Great app.

Unable to amend previous review so just leaving another one. Developer has been in touch about incorrect / missing information on the map and the map has been updated accordingly. Very happy!

This app is very helpful. However, an additional feature that alerts you to price drops - at your chosen suppliers - would make it perfect. Especially right now.

Extremely useful ap. I have saved several hundred dollars using it. If you do, the system is only as good as the people who use it so please, if you see a price has changed, make the adjustment in the app so we all know

Useful information behind ad walls, pop ups and ads covering part of the screen. They should offer a remove ads for like $1, might improve the usability and quality of the app.

I've been a very happy user and price contributor for years. No longer. Since the most-recent update it either crashes when it's launched or displays a toast that says it can't connect to the server and displays a map without prices. As often happens, someone tried to fix something that wasn't broken.

Love the app just the adds get in the way. They should have a verbal commands with connection to Google map's for neatest service station for cheapest petrol.

Very good. Big nuisance is that the ads delay start of this app. Seem to have too much priority while waiting for the map to appear.

Works pretty good, but is there a Ad free option to buy for a one time fee of like 2-4$? Because I would purchase that just to not see these intrusive ads

Usually reliable with prices, but have been caught out a few times with incorrect pricing which equates to a waste of time and money.

Submitted prices are NOT reflected in app. Eg 3 stations NO LONGER SELL LPG gas yet they are still showing as available. Hard for public to update pricings when any updating we do is NOT COMPLETED/ACCEPTED

Useful app but recent addition of ads causes crashes requiring a restart. Accuracy of prices depends on contributions by users. Easy to use and understand. Graph of price fluctuations over past few months clearly shows when price rises can be expected by comparing low points. This enables best savings to be achieved. Not perfect but worth having.

This is the second time I have uninstalled this app, original version worked great, then after update it would freeze all the time so I dumped it. After a 6mth break thought I'd give it another try, worked well... for a day only, now it crashes half way through loading leaving me with a header and the rest of the screen blank, had enough of this, don't dl this buggy app, if I could give it a negative rating I would .

A great concept and generally easy to use, but ruined recently by increasingly intrusive ads - full screen with the close button in varying places. More could be done with the data - I'm interested in choosing stations that participate in less or no fuel price cycling, and the Qld dataset would allow that feature.

Since the last update with the advertisement automatically popping up, the app freezes and needs a restart to work. If petrol stations are not shown, pressing the list menu causes it to freeze also. There's some sequence to get it working but I don't remember. Ruins the experience.

I like this app, but the text and icons showing pricing is TOO SMALL! Checked both Apple and Android and text is the same, and can't be changed (not even in system settings). When you understand how the app works and how to check when prices were updated it is quite useful.

For the love of all that is holy either get rid of the full page ads, give us the option of a one time payment for no ads or at the very least, if you update "X" amount of times in a month they go away. If I'm trying to quickly update prices the ads are constantly in the way

An absolute life-saver. Don't pay 40¢ a litre more than you have to when there's a better option down the road. I'll admit the ads are sometimes a tad obnoxious but I've seen a lot worse on apps that give me a lot less, and it's nice knowing the app is being run by real people and not the oil companies trying to squeeze us. Kudos to the many users that diligently update the stations every day!

I refer to this app often and has saved me $$ over the last year. I like that it's user dependant for updates and that all the necessary info you need to decide where to fill up is all there. Prices for various fuel types and times when prices were last uploaded. Especially helpful is the graph showing the price trend over a 4 month period so that you can see where the current price is in relation to the price cycle to enable you to buy before the prices immediately peak.

So far it's working well, would be helpful if there was a spot you could put in servos that have closed down, or are just for commercial use eg trucks with or only fuel cards(no manned paid counter). I think this would improve the app, as I live in a commercial/tourist city and these things would be helpful to be able to see.

I had to uninstall this app because of the atrocious ads. The ads at the bottom of the app are ok but some of the ads started opening my browser on their page when I start the app. Do yourself a favour and make a paid version. I've gone over to Fuel Map which has no annoying ads.

Great, and is a good substitute for states with no live fuel prices, but is of course then dependent on users (but seems more current than other crowdsourced fuel pricing apps that I've checked). Would like to see either a one off option to pay a few bucks or a yearly $1 or similar option to get rid of ads.

This is a fantastic app! I use it every week to find out the price of fual before I fill up my tank and to update the price of fual so that everyone with the app can see the price too. Over the last 2 years of me using this app I have likely saved hundreds of dollars just by driving to the next service station 2 minutes further than what I would have gone. This app is free and you have nothing to lose. Just remember to open it and have a look before you fual up and update it for others. 5 star!

This app is the best of all the fuel pricing apps I've used. It has lots of people using it so the pricing is pretty accurate and has a very nice feature letting you know when it was last updated (to tell how accurate the pricing might be) as well as whether they are 24hrs and have public restrooms for use. A godsend for Uber drivers. One feature that I would love to see introduced would be to be able to filter by service station type/brand because many people have discounts for different brand
