I'm having A LOT of trouble with being able to download PDFs from the app. It asks for permission. I hit Allow and then get a message saying that the action was cancelled because I denied permission. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and this continues to occur. Any help would be appreciated.
Would be useful, if it worked. This app crashes every time I try to submit a claim. Trying to change account information redirects you to what seems to be a website, which defeats the purpose of having an app. I also couldn't even upload documentation to submit a claim through that site.
We couldn't be happier with a pet insurance company and will never use anyone else for our fur babies. Customer Service reps are compassionate, professional, and helpful. They are thorough and patient in explaning coverage and answering all questions. They spend as much time as you need them to in doing so. When a claim is reimbursed, the reimbursements have always been prompt.
We love Pets Best insurance! The app works very well, and they've always paid out claims. We've run into some rough times with our puppy, but the safety net provided by Pets Best has really helped us make the best decision for him each time while feeling at ease.
I was excited about this because I felt it would make claims easier. It does not. I have to stand at a distance to capture the whole page of a receipt and then the claims come back as "incomplete" because no one can read it. It's very inconvenient. Then when I try to update and fix the picture problem I can't add a picture because the description I wrote when I first submitted the claim is too long. It bleeds over into the "upload picture" area. Once you submit the claim the app condenses the whole thing and that's where the information spills over into eachother. Now I have to submit my claims all over again instead of just updating them. Someone really needs to fix these issues.
Extremely easy to submit a claim, but needs a lot of work! Can't view photos you attached, either during submittal or after submission. You also can't delete a claim (I accidentally did a duplicate). And lastly, to update a claim, it doesn't allow you to add new photos or make changes, even though there is an update button. Instead, you have to go to the website. The website clearly has more capabilities than the app, which sort of defeats the purpose of the app.
I'm not happy with this app. Better off going online. I cannot access any documents from the app. It's tells me I denied access When all notifications are allowed. Fix the app.
It won't stay open beyond the My Pet page. Closes automatically. I have cleared my cache and it continues to happen. Not worth having the app.
I have paid $72 a month for a year and my claim was denied because my vet didn't put paid in full with a zero balance on the hand written invoice she provided me. I had to call to ask why it was denied, that info was not provided on the app.
Review only at this time for claim submission. Extremely easy process to submit, very user friendly. Will update on response and payment time.
Can't even access the app. Trying to log in and it's just sitting on a loading screen. Glad it happened though, this was the kick I needed to cancel my insurance with them. There have to be better pet insurance companies, save yourself the headache and join me in finding one. Cancelled my account with them today and even that was a headache. Took over an hour just to get someone.
So far I completed everything as directed by the app but the "submit" button doesn't work. How convenient.
Absolutely the best pet insurance. Excellent customer service and claim processing!! we have 6 animals insured with them and have been very happy!!
App was fine until now... Even though it has storage permissions it says it doesn't when trying to view documents. Reinstalled. Still not working.
so far i have had a good experience with pets best. just sent in 2nd claim. we will wait and see b4 giving them 5 stars. i searched till my eyes bled looking for the best option for pet insurance. my advice.. just sign up. they seem to do what they say they will do. the plus with pb is the no limit coverage.
Pets Best is a fantastic insurance company for my dog and cat. I feel rest assured that they are protected. Their claim process is simple and they are true to the coverage you purchase. I had a policy at a large insurance company that has pet insurance. There is no comparison. This insurance is perfect for the needs of our cat and dog.
Normally I would give this app high Mark's but since last update I cant submit a claim because the date dial keeps changing from where I set it.
Definitely a waste of money as most pet insurances are. App is fine and they try to "help" you make decisions about your pets care but make sure you don't hold them liable. They go out of their way to make sure you cannot file a claim in a timely manner and cannot get reimbursed. You're better off putting your own money aside for pet emergencies than using them.
Wrong password or email? Works online when I log in with the exact same credentials. Here I cannot get past the log on screen. Useless. I was expecting much more from this app as the company has such good ratings.
I have been a member of Pets Best for 9 months. I just submitted my first claim on the app and it was an easy process.
This is only my second time submitting a claim but so far the site is easy to understand and they are very quick to reimburse you.👍
very easy app to use. service is outstanding. I like being able to submit claims so easily and quickly. payments are received in a few days, only because I haven't signed up for direct deposit, which would make payments faster. great pet insurance and app!
The shots are billed on the first visit, but they only paid a small portion saying that they would not pay in full until they were finished. Well, the shots are finished and they're refusing to pay. It's a scam. I'll be reporting it to the BBB and disputing with my financial institution if necessary. Choose another insurance company. This one will not pay even with invoices.
I am very pleased with this insurance. I can upload my bills and the money is deposited directly into my checking account. I have had no issues what so ever.
This is just about the app itself. The app keeps telling me that I have denied it to access my storage but the app settings say otherwise
Claims don't work correctly. I just downloaded and used the app to submit a claim. I only went through the steps once and only took one picture of an invoice, but I have 2 identical claims. Also, when I view the claims in the app, the uploaded document doesn't show. But if I view the claim on the website, I can see the document. Finally, there is no way to cancel the second claim.
Decent idea, but needs work. The app only accepts photos for invoices. A lot of my vets and animal care specialists have moved to paperless and they email PDF invoices and receipts. There is no way to upload a PDF to the app, so I end up needing to go to the full site, anyway.
Decent app but not much options or choices if you need to adjust a claim or delete one. The camera can be finicky but i have not had issues with the company kicking my claims back. They are slow to reimburst. But overall a very simple process to submit.
Better off putting money aside every month and saving/getting a care credit card. When you try to check the status of a claim, app crashes. Try contacting via text- no response. If you call you are on hold forever. If you try to email it doesn't go anywhere. When you do get someone, hear excuses why your claim isn't being paid. They changed my wellness check to illness cause something was found in my dogs paw and it needed to be cleaned. Just don't.
Somewhat informative but it won't let me download files. I went into the info and set all requested permissions to allow and it still says it doesn't have permission. Under files and media permissions it says that it only wants media permissions and doesn't have an option to allow files. Annoying bug
