Connectivity issues makes this a serious liability. If that wasn't bad enough when it does connect the connection drops again as soon as the app closes and now after a few months of use it's saying "This collar is protected by a pin" I never had a pin from the first time using it and there isn't and option to reset this so called pin that I never set. Do NOT recommend. Don't waste your money... Just get the remote control collar combo. That worked fine

Would not buy with the app again. Collar is nice. But it disconnects from the app WAY too frequently. It has horrible range. And when trying to reconnect you will most likely have to close the application multiple times and open it back up to connect. These problems NEED to be fixed for it to be worth even a quarter of the price that was paid.

Good then awful! I've used the app and collar for a couple of years. Replaced the collar last fall when the original was lost. About two weeks ago the app can no longer connect to the collar from my phone. My husband's phone still works. I get a message that says the app is for an older operating system check for updates, none exist. Emailed the developer no response. It is now virtually useless.

Love this corrective collar! My 1 yr old Lab has been wearing it for about 2 months and her behavior is so much better as a result. As for the phone app connection my experience is much better than others. Once connected rarely does it disconnect. IMO the phone App is far more convenient than having to find a separate Remote whenever she is misbehaving.

There are times that connectivity has been a problem. The good by far outweighs the bad. My dog 🐕 responds very well to the collar. He knows when he has done something bad when I use the static button. He also knows when he has done something good with the vibration and/or sound. I am confused about the reviews, as I haven't experienced any of the problems they are stating. Love this product and ease in properly training my sweet baby boy!

Inconvenient. Having to pull out your phone then find the app sync it up then a minute after your dog has been insanely jumping on your unexpected visitor as you are trying to hold them back is inconvenient. I also have the stay and play transmitter that I spent 450$ on that stopped working 6 months in. They were nice enough to send me a new transmitter. But it still doesn't work. It must be on the collar end. But a new one of those is like 130$ I have moved the transmitter to multiple locations

Watched a video before buying this collar. It looked in the video like it had a range setting. It does not have a range setting. It needs a range setting like the wireless fence has. Why doesn't it have that? Also if I'm using my phone the app fails completely. Also the package claims to have a usb charger that it does not have with it at all.

This app does not stay active if one leaves the screen for any reason, nor does it support any kind of standby operation. A hardware upgrade for bark control would probably be too much to ask. Otherwise, very happy with the variable correction options and Bluetooth control.

I don't recommend this item for anyone to use. Mostly because I tried to connect to the phone and my boyfriends phone over a dozen times - never connected. Called customer service, they connected me to support. They told me to only have Bluetooth on for this particular app and no other apps. Well that ended it right there because we always have a Fitbit on.

Absolute garbage. The one feature that makes this smart collar more expensive is what ruins it. You can only connect one device at a time to the collar. Once you've done that you literally have to have your phone app up at all times with the screen on and ready to shock the dog at all times. It is no longer a smart phone. Just save your money and get the pocket clicker. Way easier and cheaper.

Not sure what happened - it used to work great as long we were within the required distance. Then all of a sudden it quit connecting, and if it did connect the buttons wouldn't do anything to the collar. Reinstalled the app, now it's a hit or miss on if it works.

It works fairly well as long as you can get the connector to get through the fur. We have a German Shepherd and his fur is fairly thick so we ended up taking the connectors off a different collar that were longer. Also wish I could could keep the app open while doing other things with my phone. Kind of a hassle to have to keep logging in and out.

Doesnt connect all the time. Its frustrating to spend this money and it doesnt work half time. Now it wont even connect. pin number fails all the time so u cant connect at all. Uninstalled and reinstalled app still doesnt work. It doesnt even find the collor when its on and sitting on my lap. Waste of money. Total junk

If I could rate this app and collar with a negative 5 star, I would! I spent $200.00 on this POS and 99% of the time, while my dog is barking excessively at people and dogs walking by our house, the app won't connect to the collar. If I leave it on and connected, my phone is rendered useless to anything other than that app and it uses up my battery in less than a 6 hour period! When it connected and I take it all the way to 15, he doesn't even flinch. It's going in the trash! Uninstalled app!

I was very excited to use this collar however, my experience has been nothing but troublesome. The app will not connect to the collar and if it does, the "shock" portion of the control doesn't operate at all. At over 100.00, it was a total waste of money. Very disappointed.

Rarely connected to the training collar has me looked In a constant loading screen like it's doing something but isn't. Before it worked alright, when I first got the thing. But that was over a year ago. I wish I could get my money back.

Junk app. Good when it actually works. Constantly have to reconnect the collar and reset the collar to get it to even connect. Now the issue is it is making me enter my PIN but keeps telling me the PIN authentication failed and will not connect. Been trying for over a week. Tried turning off phone, charging collar. Waste of freaking money

Upped my rating cause you all at least responded. The collar won't connect to the phone despite me putting in the correct pin. And if I put the pin in and hit continue, nothing. If I take too long putting the pin in, connection starts all over and connection never happens. My wife's phone connects no problem. And when my wife isn't using the app on her phone, I still can't connect on mine so all angles have been covered.

My experience has not been very good. App becomes disconnected from collar way to much. And most the time the static button doesn't work. Battery life not very long either. Returning this tomorrow, getting one with remote, not one the uses app.

I bought 2 collars for my dogs. So far the process of switching from 1 dog to the other is long. It would be nice if there was a way to do it on the main screen and even have a option for both. The only reason my dogs need a collar is because they chase cats. Sometimes I have to get both of their attention at the same time. There could also be more information about the collar and app in the starter guide. There should also be a way to name the collars instead of remembering the number.

I was at first hesitant of purchasing something that I had never use or seen only one time used. It seemed curl and I myself dont like to be shocked even being a retired electrician.. and I have been hit many times in life..lol. But after adjusting it to what I felt comfortable with and then decreasing it a couple more I'm very pleased with the first response of her..them chasing vehicles in our driveway. It was also very easy to install and use ...explains everything so clear

Can't get connected because the app says pin is already set. Site help includes steps for seeing the pin, but they aren't possible in the app. Really? Over $100 and I can't even log into the app without weeding through online help that doesn't work? Not impressed.

So far not impressed having a hard time it connects sometimes with a collar most times it says it cannot find the caller I have to uninstall and reinstall all the time. If things don't improve I'm going to have to return it and I really need it because my dog keeps running across our pool cover and is now made a tear in it it is an elephant cover but we're going to have to buy a new one now.!

If the collar disconnects from the, but then comes back in range the functions don't work anymore. I have to either restart my phone or uninstall the app. This is a huge pain because I'm counting on it working.

It not that easy to connect to... I have to force close the app if I want it to work... and even then it doesnt seem to work like its suppose to. Dog barely even reacts to it... I let it charge a whole day and within half the day of it just on him not even being used it needs charging again... definitely would not recommend to anyone.

This collar and app sucks. The collar doesn't function unless you are physically looking at the app on your phone all day every second of the day and tapping the button yourself.. It cost $199 and doesn't do a thing. I will be returning it and I wouldn't suggest that any buys it.

App is somewhat confusing about if it's actually connected or not. Would be nice if there was a widget to use for static, vibration or tone. Other than that it's actually working correctly.

Very disappointed with this app and device. Doesn't sync well with collar and when does takes too long which results in it been too late to reinforce the dogs behaviour. Would not recommend. This device it not cheap either!

I really wish that 2 devices could be connected at the same time. It will jump between mine and my husband's phones and it makes it impossible for us to consistently train her. When it is functioning, it seems to be effective.

WASTE OF MONEY: With the first phone, continously disconnected from the app and would randomly stop working. Worked on my dog for about a week, then stopped. Replaced the battery, but still wasn't working. Worked fine when I took it off my dog, but wouldn't work when on my dog. I got a new phone and re-downloaded the app and searched for the collar, but now its telling me its password protected! I never added a password! So now I can't use it PERIOD! Definitely want my $120 back.
