I would give this app no stars if it was an option. It won't capture the back image of the check. It always comes up blank. I tried with two different phones. The $1,500 limit is also an annoyance. I'll have to drive 2 hours to the nearest branch to deposit this check or risk having it lost by USPS. If I didn't have direct deposit to this account and most of my bill paying linked to it, I'd bank elsewhere.
I see alot of PFCU members aren't too fond of this app, but I love it. I never have a issue with depositing a check through this app. I recommend that once you download the app, you have to go online to PFCU log into your account and set up Edeposit 1st. PFCU will issue a password, then you can start using the app. If all fails be sure to call PFCU for assistance... 😀
The app does exactly what it claims. I'm deducting a star for the confusing setup procedure. And I'm deducting a star for the $1500 deposit limit which PFCU cannot increase. Both of these faults could easily be fixed, but I don't see any intentions on PFCU side to do so.
My first attempt at using this App caused me to delete it immediately. When I signed out it left my account number displayed at the login. Also I could not locate the option to reset my password from the one assigned by the system. I am happy to see both if these flaws have been corrected. I've yet to do a test run with a real check but will report results in the near future.
I took the clearest picture possible..literally had to take the back of the check over 20 times..FINALLY get a clear picture just for a stupid error that wasn't relevant to pop up. So annoying. Guess I have to go in the credit union. Horrible app
The app is very finicky about the image, and the deposit limit is so small that I end up having to go to a PFCU branch anyway.
The sign in process needs tweaking. You have to call to get your password reset and lately that doesn't work
I thought I loved this app since the day it was made available but no more. I know my login and I know my password but all of a sudden I can't login getting the message my login is not correct. Called pfcu. Several hours ago . Still waiting to find out what's happening :(
I have reset my password 3 times. Will not let me log in
I feel like a second app to deposit checks is inefficient, but it works. Remember, use your account number to log in.
Had to read these reviewsto gleen info on how to use app...senseless that the login is different from pfcu web login, nevertheless I continued to login. Then I received an email response from PFCU that I will receive my login in 48 hours...seriously????
These guys need to hire a better app developer. Couldn't log on, which seems to be a common issue.
Outdated API makes the camera take photos upside down
Anyone else not able to log in? I'm positive I haven't changed my password but it won't work. Amazingly there is no recovery feature, so I am completely helpless.
Would not let me log in
Its useful once you get it set up but my camera was apparently too blurry to read the back of the check so now the app is basically useless for me.
Works good most of the time so i put up with it
I love this app very convenient
Tried Username, acct. #, password, pin, and nothing
A $1,000 check is too large for me to use a edeposit? Zzzzzzzzz now I have to go to the bank to deposit.
Can't get this app to open after multiple calls to member services to change passwords. Also it is set up on my account online prior to trying the app. Get it working and I'll rate a 5.
Not enough direction with this app. I had to read the reviews to figure out how to log in after many failed attempts didn't realise you had to log into tellernet & change options on eservices. Also online account does not reflect your pending edeposits which is very frustrating. Does anyone know how long it takes to process the checks?? Just used it for the 1st time over the weekend & monday was a holiday. Im sure this app will prove to be convenient & overall a good app
Its about bare minimum functionality and design, but I'm happy.
Does not properly use my phone camera API. Autofocus is disabled and I cant manually override. Totally useless to me. Also, this should be integrated into the pfcu banking app.
It saves me a long drive to the credit union. Time consuming to set up initially with computer and permissions....which makes sense since this is my money... not as quick and easy as I'd like. Not an option if you need to cash a check quickly.
Every time I try to take a picture of the back of the check it becomes blurred.
I don't know what upgrades were made to this app but it does not seem to be working anymore. I am going to uninstall it, if it is not corrected soon. It crashes everytime I try to make a deposit.
You have to open an eDeposit account on your main banking account. Otherwise it's smooth sailing.
I always forget that the "User Name" is your account number. It should either say Account Number or it should use your online tellernet username. // Once logged in, the only thing you can do is make a deposit. There should at least be a log of previous deposits. // The $1500 deposit limit is unacceptably small and there isn't any way to get it increased. // I also use an eDeposit app from another bank and it is significantly better.
