PFCU Mobile

The app could be better. But it is good enough to get the job done. The app's ability to take pictures has gotten worse over time. It no longer defaults to landscape mode, so I must take the first image in portrait orientation with my phone in landscape orientation and the go back and retake the picture before the app switches to landscape mode. I'm taking off 2 stars for the camera hassles.

Love the app. Seems like I get an issue when doing a mobile deposit the check is visible to see but it be reading the amount wrong sometimes and taking awhile to submit the check. I love this feature because it's better then going to the ATM. But I think the mobile deposit should be fixed it's a minor glitch I think that can be easily fixed. But I love the PFCU app. Very convenient.

(5.5.2020) Convenient. I used to be able to use the fingerprint scanner to access. What happened? Update (8.4.2020): Fingerprint scan working again. It would be nice to be able to add external accounts, like some other CUs. Update (3.22.2022): Still not able to add an external account!

It's a simple app the helps you manage your money. I've only ever had one problem which was not being able to log ito my account but that only happened 1 time. Everything else works great!

I really love PFCU. I have had their app for many years without any problems. And their customer service at the Bloomsburg office is exceptionally the best! They are always helpful and kind!!!

It took 7 to 8 tries to get the back of check picture and 4 for front, almost 19 minutes. The app. kept closing on me and had to start over. The app has begun to work much faster as far as everything else. I love it otherwise. Make it a little simpler to be able to change a scheduled payment amount. Other than that I love the app. It makes things more convenient especially times like now.

Very basic. Not very sophisticated interface. It's a CU, so I don't expect a lot, but someone is getting paid to design and manage this subpar app. The widget often doesn't work. Gives an error that says not connected to internet, even though I am and every other app on my phone works. Reinstall the app, remove and replace widgets. Same problem. It's disappointing.

Overall, I like the app. I took away one star, because, even though my phone's volume is set to off, the camera still makes a very loud shutter noise whenever I take a picture of a check that I'm depositing through the mobile app, and I can't find a way to turn it off, or at least lower the sound effect. I usually do my banking & bill payments at night, and I don't want to wake my family up.

The edeposit is more of a hassle and very time consuming to use. You don't have to leave your home in order to deposit a check but why does it take 11 times for the photo to be accepted by the system? Each time the check is not accepte the app completely closes out then you have to reopen the app each time to try to deposit a check. It's supposed to be stress free. However, it's very, very time consuming and frustrating. Other features on the app works seamlessly.

I was still using the phone to call my said Mom that old school you need the app its fast an easy ..I was not sure but had to make trasfrer or phone was slow an did not work .But now the fast and very easy to use .thanks PFCU this app popin love it ..

Generally works fine. Though I have issues with mobile deposits. I dont like the way it accepts mobile deposits then later rejects them. When it gets rejected after initially accepting it they notify you via email though the subject line says nothing about a rejected deposit so it's easy to miss. It also gives no information about what got rejected, no check number, no reasoning, doesnt even say what account. This needs to be updated. I find it very frustrating.

The app is OK overall but the auto capture for the checks is frustrating as hell. It won't focus, it won't take a picture of the check, you have to try a dozen times. Annoying. Edit: downgrading this to two stars, it's been months and they haven't addressed this at all.

I love PFCU's app...I am accustomed to online banking with them. But, the app offers the similar, if not the same, perks as online.

So far I LOVE this app! PFCU is the best! The only thing I don't like about the app is that when I first open the app, the design doesn't look the same it did before. I used to be able to see a cute picture at the top before, and the sign in box somewhere in the middle of the screen. But now there is no picture, and all I see is a blank sign in box that moved to the top of the screen. That almost looks like a glitch to me. Other than that, it is an awesome app. I haven't had any problems at all.

The app been acting dumb since I got a new number. I cant get in to my account. The bank can not help that tried. App maker can you help?

Has issues connecting at times, for me when I need it, the main issue for me is at crucial times card management is off line in active, or you are unable to lock or unlock the card leaving you open to unauthorized use if your cardbis lost or worst stolen, for PFCU to be the size bank they are, they should know and correct these issues, weather internal or external to the app.

This app is easy to use. I have been using this app for over two years now and simply loving it. I can't remember the last time I step foot inside the bank. Everything is at my finger tips. Loving it!

Credit unions are truly wonderful, PFCU does a great job in providing a service and an app that serves the customer. It is a little slower than big banks (like when it comes to transferring money to someone else's account) but it's a small price to pay for knowing I'm not getting fleeced in fees.

Most of the apps features work as well as anyone could hope. Smooth and easy to transition from one task to the next. The mobile check cashing feature; however, is so broken I'm not sure it's worth even offering it

Very User friendly This app is very convenient. I use this app to keep up to date with my account balances. I love the quick balance feature. I also love that most of my family are members of pfcu and it easy to send money to each others account without any extra fee.

my issue is that this app is not available in the Windows store. my primary cell and computer/tablet are Windows 10. so in a week when this phone is gone I have to make my way every week to the one branch close by (which is still 2 miles away). cant build more branches so can you at least make your app available for all operating systems

I was using this app no problem all day while working having multiple direct deposits, then all the sudden it didn't allow me to sign in with my fingerprint, and it no longer recognized my username or password. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it is still not allowinge to sign in. 😡

It took me awhile to get the hang of access the app, but now that I know how it's a beautiful thing. It's so convenient especially for when my son need money transferred into his account. Before I learned the app I would transfer the money via the telephone which I had to know his account # as well as mine (which I always had to look up). There's been plenty of times he needed funds & I didn't have that info with me. Now that I have access to the app I do not have that problem anymore.

Love the app, it's makes everything so much easier!! Only down fall is like every app it sometimes can not login due to cleaning or something. But only happen to me about 3 times within 1 year.

Very easy to use , just follow the instructions , make whatever adjustments and you are set . Very convenient for seniors who can't always make it to the branch office !!! Thank You PFCU !!!

1st Time Mobile App User and it worked great! Sure beats going to bank.
