On course, no one could get a signal, so the app became worthless. Need more bandwidth when everyone is trying to use the same app to find pairings and find their way around the course.
Works ok, not incredibly user friendly but not bad at all...one thing it does is still give you notifications after you've turned them off, at least on my phone...which is annoying at best and ridiculous if you're not watching it live...not sure why I have to update it daily either, don't have to update the Masters app😏...3.5 stars
Golf has 2 nines (the front and the back) This leaderboard shows an eight hole half, and a ten hole half. Not very user friendly havjng to scroll to the bottom of leaderboard to see any over par players. Overall not as good as other apps (ie.. Masters)
I don't mind it. It's simple and so far it works for me (2 days). No issues whatsoever with: managing and saving favs, viewing shotracker, watching vids & stopping notifications.
The apps runs fine on my note 20 ultra. It's well presented and easy to navigate. I've had no crashes or any issues with the app. Highly recommended.
It's a little slow I find it very hard to read the scoreboard and shots just a little more difficult for me than the PGA which I would be using except it's even slower because you're a major no major concerns just minor irritations
Pretty mediocre app, takes forever to start and has been disappointing since I first downloaded it. For example, all times local (CT) almost all apps adjust to the users local time.
Asks to be updated every darned day! Frustrating as hell! Overall is good, but not as good as could be ..... too many "links to Twitter" .... unlike Masters and Open Championship no in-app video or feeds Okay .... 1 day later and wont let me into the App until I DO YET ANOTHER UPGRADE Better idea UNINSTALL
The leaderbosrd doesn't work. You can't follow particular players during their round. There doesn't appear to be a way to watch live action via the app like can be done with the Masters app.
Hmmmm, not working well on samsung s21. Every time I open it, says an update is needed. I have uninstalled three times in three days to get it to work.
You're the PGA, 1 of 4 majors, yet you put out an app that's barely worthy of the Podunk Open. Follow the model, functionality and customer friendly Masters app and stop having an intern program this mess.
Update required every day but app will not allow update. Two years later and the app still makes you updated every day when you open it up.
The app allows me to disable notifications but it doesn't work. I still receive them. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. I had to uninstall.
Why does this have to be updated every day? Also, having to watch 15 second ads before you watch highlights is a pain. Waste of time.
This app was historically good. Now, unlike every other Major app, there's no live coverage unless you have ESPN+ ! Terrible. It's a glorified scoreboard.
It works but does not keep up with scores with the field plus has no viewing except what's on espn+ no range coverage no featured groups or featured holes practically useless
Having players over par display after players that have not started their rounds is horrendously bad. Sort by score to par, and then number of holes played.
What is the point of an app that does not show live coverage of featured groups unless you have ESPN. This is why the Masters will always be the Platinum standard
You can turn off notifications inside the app and you'll still receive them...fix it. Not to mention no free streams like the Masters, what a joke
PGA of America is supposed to grow the game not try to make the most profit possible. The way they run this championship just makes golf look more elitest rather than accessable.
Can't do anything on this app expect look at scores. Use masters app as an example of you want to be a good app for golf.
Kept getting dozens of notifications, even after turning them all off. They need to take a few lessons from The Masters app.
It's useless 😪 always wanting you to update when you open it. Worst golf app ever. They should talk to the guys who made the Aguasta Masters app.
I was at tournament the updates are not timely. It Says group is on 1 hole and really their on another. Not good with shot tracker all and all just basic and clunky
All other majors show their coverage and bonus features in the app. The pga is too linked to espn+
The worst major golf app ever.I have no control in the app. I have to read all of the BS you want me to read before I can find the info that I'm looking for.
Initially the app seemed very good with providing alerts for my favorite players. On my way Sat driving to the tournament, I tried to use the app to stream live radio coverage. It would stream for max 5 minutes and then stop with an error. Once I got to the tournament 75% of the time I fired up the app I got a circle spinning and nothing loaded on screen. I have a S22 ultra and had 5 bars of 5G while on the course. Other web sites/apps on my phone were able to load fast but not the PGA app.
