Phantomgate : The Last Valkyrie

This is one of only two relatively new games that I found worthy of keeping. Not only has it proven quite enjoyable, but I have found it pushing out several of my old go-tos. The only issue I had at all was that the walk-through level parts originally felt somewhat tedious. Admittedly I have grown spoiled by auto-play features, but after giving them a chance, I have developed an appreciation for the puzzle-like quality and we'll thought out nature of these stages. I am also pleased by the balance the creator's managed difficulty-wise, that is to say it is difficult enough to be challenging, but not impossible enough to be frustrating. All in all, highly recommended.

Guys, the game is awesome, the idea is innovative and graphics just gorgeous. The battle sys is good as well. But, frankly, I didn't like the personalisation options. I want to make my own character, how I want, with skills I want and have tons of customisation options. This what I am expecting the most from the games nowadays. For me this is the most important than graphics and story. Gameplay is everything.

Game is not bad. Interesting storyline. Wish you had the voiceover narration throughout the game. My biggest issue and one I find quite irritating is the constant network connectivity issue which causes you to have to re do any made progress through the game. I had it happen after a arena battle which I won and then again today while attempting to complete stage 2-7-3. This gets very annoying. Game clearly is unstable and cannot maintain sufficient connection to servers. Now I have to re do ALL of Stage 2-7 again and I am not to thrilled seeing as how it took a lot of work to get to the point in Stage 2-7 whare I was which was part 3. I had just took out the wizard which blocked access to the phantomgate in stage 2-7-3 after three unsuccessful attempts. This needs to be fixed. Device catche has been cleared as well as temporary internet folder and history folder data and wifi connections are stable as well. and issue still exists so the issue is on your side not mine.

This is a really good combination of platform game and turn-based rpg. The graphics are cute and smooth, and the voice acting is a LOT better than most voice acting I hear on mobile games. The cutscenes are also great. I haven't explored the combat system that much yet but I'm expecting a lot more complexity in the late game. Overall a very good game. Just hope it doesn't turn into a p2w system.

Really unique in it's presentation and doesn't throw 100s of distractions at you every time you log in. Beautiful looking and the music is great. Fun storyline, fun characters. I am a bit confused about some of the components but it's good about explaining things so I probably just need to level a bit more and get introduced to the features I'm unsure about. Overall it's one of the most unique and accessible Gacha RPGs on the market.

Still amazed at this game. It all started last year when I got into this and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was excited that this game gets a re-release, but as of now I can't get past on the tutorial as the game crashes after 5 minutes. Hope you guys fix this so I can get it through since I got the minimum requirements (1G RAM, Android OS 4.4) Thank you so much and more power. :)

This is truly one of the best turnbased RPGs I have played on mobile. The art style is unique, the combat is fun, characters are unique and diverse. It can get clunky at some point, but it is worth your time. The replay of instances is made fun as your characters grow stronger with each card owned. Exp is easily earned and you can level up quickly if you play daily. Overall it is a super fun game and worth your time.

Now this is a genuinely good game. It's got great art work and character designs, amazing gameplay mechanics like 2D side scrolling and platforming to turn based combat. The phantoms are all unique and farming materials to evolve them may take time but is so rewarding. I really couldn't ask for more, it deserves much more love so that we can get frequent updates and events! Love it, cheers to the devs!!

Simply beauitful this game is. I wasn't to sure at first as I'm use to certain graphics in a game. But once it downloaded and started I was drawn it. The graphics are stunning the story line and voice acting is surpered. This really is a gem and I'm happy I came across it. I can't fault it in any way. The battle system is smooth and easy to get to grips with. If your unsure about the game just down load it and give it a chance I promise you won't be disappointed. Awesome game here and massive kudos to the creator's wishing you all the best and success.💜

This game is a pretty good turn-based rpg. Battles are fun and the difficulty curve through the campaign is pretty solid (or you can just grind your way to victory). Units are easy to come by and levelling up takes little effort compared to other free-to-play games. Art style is great and However, the "puzzles" in the stages are so simple that they might as well not be there, platforming controls are clunky, with jumps being extremely floaty, energy recharges slowly and gets used up quickly and PvP could use a little tweaking for fair matchups. All in all, decent game worth trying out.

Love the gameplay, controls, and graphics! Beautifully done! There's a bug when we got interrupted during battle, a window pops up saying we logged in on another device, and after reloading, the game says there's a new version available, even though there's none.

Basically Ubisoft's Child of Light in terms of gameplay, art, and exploration. The story, characters, and leveling is different however. Also, this is a pay-to-win mobile title that has you buying fragments to unlock and upgrade characters. Its not bad by any means, but it can become somewhat boring if you are not a fan of turn based RPGs. Reccomended to casual players.

Original, beautiful, complex, and clearly a work of love. No cookie-cutter copy of a thousand other games here. This puts its own spin on nearly ever mechanic it uses if it isn't a unique one, and tells a compelling, irresistible story while it's doing so. Easily the most unique, beautifully crafted, and fun to play game I've seen on mobile in YEARS. It beats out a hell of a lot of console/PC releases as well. Play this. It's worth it.

Discovered and started playing Phantomgate recently and whoa! It's pretty amazing! It's surprisingly "chill" on the pay-to-win stuff; granted I'm still a new player so I there's still a chance of potentially hitting a paywall eventually, but for now it seems manageable in the IAP department. The visuals are incredibly charming, with stylistic low-poly, Norse-inspired aesthetics. Story and voice acting (English ver.) are outstanding and really bring the game to life. The music score is engaging and the main theme by Heize (K-pop artist) is breathtaking. On the gameplay side, it is a smooth and very rewarding experience. Phantomgate plays a bit like the PS4 game Exist Archive. Also, the monsters/Phantoms are varied and well-designed; not just visually but thematically too. Much respect to the designers on that front. Definitely plenty of phantoms to win your favor! Overall, Phantomgate is quite an excellent title that will keep me entertained for a long while!

This is the first game in a long time I've found to be both different and enjoyable. As with all games of this type there is a heavy element of luck with summoning characters which means if your very lucky you might get 3 high tier characters early on and dominate. On the other hand you might always get rubbish characters in which case you might as well not bother playing. Really enjoying the game at the moment but might see a payment wall on the horizon in that upgrading to 6 star needs items that appear to only come from gems. Will have to see when get that far.

good game and gameplay, but need more optimization, sometimes lag happens. edit: what i meant by lag is more about the fps, sometimes the the game stop responding for about 1-2 sec and then run normally again, it happen when i try to go to new chapter/stage/fight or something like that. my net has no problem. it's more about loading problems.

The game was pretty fun, I was playing it just this morning, but now I cannot get into the game. It gets stuck on the image with many doors when opening the app, and never loads. I waited 30 minutes, but it never loaded into the game. I have a great wifi connection and everything. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, to no avail. Oh well.

Simply incredible. Unique gameplay. Great story. Wonderful characters and voice acting. The artwork is stunning. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this game. I haven't ran into a single issue with any p2w nonsense, with a game this great I am completely surprised that I've spent so many hours and enjoyed so much as a f2p. First time I've said this, Thank you for making this game. Only wish the summons were a bit cheaper. Along with having to re-enter a lvl just to get 1 shard for an upgrade but having to spend 10-15 ⚡ is a tad extreme.

Loving the game so far! The graphics and sounds are beautiful. The gameplay controls are easy enough to understand; It's a mix of Turn-based and a bit of exploring, which is a nice change of pace from most gacha games. This game kinda reminds me of Sdorica. Equally beautiful to play.

At first I was really intrigued by the premise unfortunately a game breaking bug kinda prevented me from getting to far into the story however the voice acting was enjoyable the art style and graphics are decent and the gatcha system is decent the story though does get pretty dull

Great story, beautiful graphics. Great game so far. My minus point is in the PVP matchmaking. It's not fair and ridiculous. My level is 38 and I must fight with level 67! And I must fight him 3 times IN A ROW!! (I don't wanna try fourth time though). Overall, it's a nice game.

I think this game was really good until 1 thing: the fact that I'm on a tablet means the game just closes whenever I'm going to a battle, its a bug but I can't stand having to open it again and again, and the re son why I have not uninstalled it us because everything there is beautiful but that bug makes every thing turn upside down. Thanks, I hope you fix this.

This is one of the most unique games I have ever played the graphics could be better to have an even greater experience sadly but it still fit in quite well with the stories and gameplay so not much complain here but job well done though the story could be portray with cutsence I know is asking a bit much and as for the gameplay was hoping a bit of like Mario style but a bit of combat and a bit of a different twist was a bit disappointing when it turns out is a turn based game still love the game and the fact that the control pad is not stuck in one area is a whole lot of different experience job well done as the stories are creative cause it links to our journey and overall gameplay in the long run

Game looks nice, love how there is a platformer part to the game. But the thing is the game keeps on loosing connection to the server even though i have decent internet, and it also keeps on prompting pop-ups saying the accnt is logged in on another device and having connection time outs that keeps on restarting the game, i could get hooked to the game but damn, cant even play for 5 min without the game restarting on its own

Just starting out, but thoroughly enjoying this one. Graphics are easy on the eyes, flow fantastically, the gameplay is straightforward - not overly complicated, the tutorials are well done, voiceovers decent, and the story interesting & fun. Great stuff so far.

Can't say this about many apps but this is actually really good. Unique gameplay, common battle system, good summon rates, slight challenge but able to be overcome. All round well balanced game with a lot of f2p support. The developers have really outdone themselves on this one and many other developers would be smart to follow suit. I do wish the multi-summons were cheaper or at least provided some bonus like a +1, or guaranteed one of the unique phantoms.

Abandoned by devs Original: Not normally something I would like on paper, but it's pretty great. So essentially you go through short levels, level up, and catch them all to fight with you. The tutorial stages and level one are a little tedious as the tutorial is very controlling. However, the game is very rewarding with lots of upgrades and unlockables. Bonus points given for it not being a clicker, merger, or idle game. The game as a whole is pretty great. A surprising gem of a phone game.

Spent all this time, money, and effort into progressing yet get stuck at 4-10 IMPOSSIBLE to defeat team where the same phantom shields AND taunts, PLUS gets to go twice in a row. Stupid, and insulting on top of it all, I'm given a message to spend even more money to "make my characters stronger!" I'm level 32! With multiple evolved phantoms, jewels equipped, etc... Why isn't that enough?! How is it I was able to progress just fine up until then? Why this sudden spike in IMPOSSIBLE DIFFICULTY out of nowhere???
