PhoenixStudio is a re-release of the smash hit PocketPC app I originally created in 2001. For a long time it was by far the most powerful and user friendly music app for the platform.
In this Android re-release, the UI has not yet been adapted for small touch screens (it was intended for stylus-controlled devices) but it will work fine on Galaxy Note and similar, and it should also be usable on large screen tablets.
Except for the save functionality, which can be purchased in-app, PhoenixStudio is free to use and play with.

It's agood app, easy to use but can't record voice/vocal sounds yet after making a song beat you need to initiate vocal to make it enjoyable. My request to you is, try to upgrade it's level, if not develop phoenix studio voice recorder so that the beats are exported to that for addition.
It's nice. Some nice sounds, looks & feels great. Not easy to get to grips with though. Would also like to see a greater drum sound selection
Had this decades ago on my pocketpc!!like' reason ' on my Android . The interface is outdated sure but this is nostalgia for me .. good synth sounds
It's a good app where you can create legit beats at the tap of a button...once you learn how it works
Great app for mixing. The fact that the dev removed in app purchases shows that he/she is not greedy and this should be a chart topper

Hard to USe
I recently downloaded is but it won't start I have a Galaxy Note 2 and it just won't start
All round good but am having trouble saving data. I have to re install every time otherwise the save option is not there. Would like some feed back as to what is going wrong. Other than that its great.
OMG! I literally went OMG when I saw this. I cannot believe this finally came to Android. I had this on my Pocket PC years ago and it was great.
First time I've enjoyed making music on a digital device since sound tracker on my Amiga. Thank you and looking forward to updates well worth the buy

Beautiful app! I have produced amazing music with this. Dev is faster than lightning as well. Superb in every way shape and form. Also the UI is great! :-)

Dude... please please make a detailed tutorial video...I have been randomly playing with the app and its promising enough to be a chart topper... then again, just playing with this old app is a charm in itself. Very darned easy to use and intuitive, just go and read the online manual.... Why not make a new avatar of this old little gem which does nearly what the latest ones can do? And such a small footprint too....
