Maybe the worst app I've ever used. We use this service at work and it is functional about 25% of the time. Normally you can't answer calls, you can't dial out unless you try 8 times, and there are about a dozen other constant issues. Of course, I contacted customer service. In March they told me to get screenshots of the app everytime it malfunctioned. It only took a day for me to complete the deranged Pokemon hunt they assigned to me. I emailed back with the screenshots and never heard back.
This app is terrible. Calls can't be made/recieved back to back, you have to force stop the app to do so. Calls drop, call transfer and hold don't work. There is a really bad delay when using the browser option. Just please find another app.
Calls connect 30% of time. 50% of calls drop during conversation. Making outgoing calls after checking voicemail requires close out of app. Just a terrible experience.
The phone app is very poorly designed and most features don't seem to work. At times, the app will ring even if I am on a call. The call history doesn't work, so if I miss a call, I don't know who to call back unless they leave a voicemail. Answering calls can be quite painful at at times the app says it is connecting to the call but never does. All in all, my company is moving away from this company.
The app is mostly ok. Slight delay when attempting to send a text, long enough to make me think it doesn't register to send and I feel prompted to hit send again before it goes through. Another text annoyance is despite having all my needed contacts saved in the app, when I look at my message list - only the numbers show in place of where the saved names should be... the names are completely missing.
This app is very unreliable and does not have a user friendly interface. I can not answer calls although I'm pressing the button. The phone does not ring at all at times. I'm switching platforms because it's too unstable to run a business. I've called customer service at least 3 times and told to reinstall the app, which I've done but the problems still exist. Very disappointing.
6/20/20 - Now the app keeps crashing. Previous review- Will not work at all. Works great at times. Doesn't work well at other times. Too inconsistent. Sometimes it rings when a call comes in, other times it doesn't. Sometimes there is a delay or voice quality issues. Needs substantial work and improvement as I rely on this app and service for my business.
Have to use this company for work and I hate it. We're canceling in January. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app once a week because it just stops making calls. The app has used my personal voice-mail for missed business calls, so business calls end up coming to my personal phone anyways. I've called to try to resolve the issues and their customer service always tells me something different and gives me the run around. Just terrible.
Spotty service, bad app. Even my regular calling is affected. I'm constantly seeing a notification from this app to hang up even when placing a call through my phone normally. Calls don't go through, service is spotty at best, people can't hear me, I can't hear them, voice mail takes forever to load and sometimes doesn't give me a notification that I have one for forever. FIX THIS APP!!!
Sometimes when I answer the incoming, it drops. I've been trying to call out for the last hour and won't dial. Randomly when I answer, it will answer on speaker phone. I can't get notifications that I have a voicemail and sometimes it won't tell me that I missed a call. These have all happened in different places and both with or without internet. I'm keeping the app because otherwise have found it works better than others.
Current issues: calls ring in but the app doesn't open/give passive option to answer, which worked previously; SMS call notifications now arrive hours after the fact; the option to easily block spam numbers from the call log has mysteriously disappeared (it's only giving me the option to block my own number, which would be funny if it wasn't so frustrating); and there's normally a 5 to 10 second lag when I answer a call before the other person can hear me. This app is eternally frustrating.
I cannot comment on the high end functions, but as a low-end user, this needs some work. This can interfere with your personal voicemail and some call settings. There should be a notification for idle time of ~15+ mins to log out. Closing it will keep it active without any warning. It is cheap, though. And that's why I don't give it 1 star. But general functionality could use some work still. It's such a hassle that I just uninstall it when I'm not using it- and that's a bad sign.
This app needs big improvement. It's not so useful and has many bugs. The call logs never works. It always show me old data. When contacted support, all they do is recommending you to uninstall and reinstall. But still didn't work. I will look for other alternative when my contract ends (too bad that I just renewed for another year).
I don't get notifications of text messages unless I close out the app each time I use it. For about 50% off my calls, the caller is not able to hear me after a few minutes into the call. The person on the other end can never hear me when I'm connected to my car sorting a call.
This is the worst phone app. Have to uninstall it and reinstall it after every 2 or 3 calls. Spend more time doing that than actually speaking on the phone.
Only works 10% of the time, regardless of wifi signal strength. Forget it. Ap is piece of junk. Ive reported this numerous times, but their ap developers don't give a hoot.
Ring Central actually has a tech that looks into their customer's complaints. This app doesn't register all the calls. No notifications for sms. Can't add contact from vm or sms directly only manually. The widget show a number that doesn't reflect voice msg or sms. I don't know why the number is there. Sometimes Calls come in to my phone and doesn't show on the app. Not good for business at all.
-every time I try to send a text message to somebody it instead initiates a call. -none of my contacts ever show up in messages, only their phone numbers, so I frequently forget who I'm even talking to when I have multiple conversations going at once - some texts when opened give you a blank page - cant use 2 phone numbers - now to top it off I'm not even getting notifications anymore and I cant figure out how to fix that EDIT: now when I try to make a phone call, it dials a different #
App is very glitchy. I can only answer calls from my office. I have to frequently check my app for text messages as I often do not get notified. Faxing has also been glitchy from my PC. I'm only keeping this service because it is HIPAA compliant and priced well.
Have to use this for work and I wish I didn't. It drops calls all of the time, and I have had to reinstall it/force quit it multiple times just to get it to work effectively. Maybe it doesn't interface well with a Pixel 3a, but I would not recommend spending any money on this.
Horrible Horrible app! I can't even send out text messages. Its been that way since I've opened my account 3 months ago. I've asked several times when are they going to fix the app issues, they reply with the same answer......"soon" closing my account
I have been using this app for a year to have HIPPA compliant phone and video services. I like that it is HIPPA compliant and the video component works well. The phone app is very laggy and I often don't even know I have text messages. I often just have to go into the app to see if I have missed anything.
Keep getting a not responding error on the app. It takes several attempts to make outgoing calls and send text. It eventually works, but I wish the app was faster and more intuitive.
A bar that says "You're offline. Reload" keeps popping up when I am clearly connected to the internet and app crashes. Calls get disconnected every after 5 minutes! 😔 What's wrong?
