If you don't provide full credit card information the app barely functions n up bombarded with adds. I purchased this app for another of my phones and it did not perform in this horrid manner. I couldn't get the trial to work and Uninstaller it immediately.
It works fine but don't think that it's a comprehensive test it's useful for narrowing down problematic hardware or software but it won't be as good as a professional diagnostic test at a phone care place. But it will help you fix more minor issues
This piticular app I really like I have used it for several years and have trusted it with all of my smartphones past and current and like it for its simplicity, user friendly interface straight forward ,this is great stuff thanks...
I tried this for the first time very impressed the most Comprehensive cell phone Operation Diagnostics program I've ever seen!! ....a Must Have for every cell phone Highly Recommended!! π ππ
Better than many desktop computers tests. I rarely write a review for apps but this one deserves the time. The details of the phone and the tests results are comprehensive and yet easy to read. I would like to ask however - in test selection I think it will be extremely useful to have "select/unselect all" buttons and that RAM, CPU, storage and battery to be split to separate selectors
Wow superb app. Perfect to test a used phones health. Very detailed information and complex diagnostic tools. Highly recommended.
Great for finding out sensors on the phone... As well as operability of functions of damaged phones ( and by using stress tests and more indirectly) I have extended the functioning life of quite a few (slightly) broken or cracked displays on phones I've used in recent past, due to what i think Is the stress test, on the memory, as well as the cpu's enumeration process..a broken phone that at one time might have not worked will now function! NOT A DOUBT in my mind because of this app. Thanks!
This app is amazing!! It is very thorough and fast. It checks everything that makes up your phone. It gives detailed results and helps take the worry out of wondering if your phone has "real" issues or is it a simple problem. I will absolutely share this app with everyone I know who's not as tech savvy as most. I recommend it highly and want to thank the designers who developed this exemplary example of tech made easy. Thx
A tester with depth! I haven't seen better & am no longer looking. Very organized UI/UE. I have inPocket's other apps too & so should you. There is great online help with extra background info for the inquisitive. And look how responsive inPocket is to issues & suggestions. Very engaged! My cheap phone has a 2 touch point max. Good to know! I also know I don't have a compass but there was no test run. Can the tests be expanded to look for "unsupported sensors," too? I'll give a 6th star. Thx
Very professional, provides real, detailed, easy to comprehend info that actually updates with what happens on the phone, runs real, thorough tests, and it is helping to care for my device way better than before. "Mail results" feature will be crucial whenever I need to talk to anyone about the state of my phone, especially my service providers. The ads are also non-intrusive. Must-have app that TRULY allows you to get to know your phone well. 5-stars is an understatement.
I'm having lots of trouble with this old phone. ie static, dropping calls, failure to play audio, loosing photos, disappearing apps and more. Yet, the app claims this phone is in good working order. I still have no idea what's wrong with my Droid. Oh well. Samsung to the rescue.
Excellent! I bought a used phone on ebay and wanted to make sure it was legit. Through this app the tests confirmed that it is indeed a next to new phone with all diagnostics tested showing that the phone is in pristine health and all functions (gyroscope, touchscreen, memory, battery, storage, etc.) are running optimally. Thanks, this app really put my mind at ease!
I just downloaded the app and tried it out and I was very impressed by the speed and accuracy and I would recommend it to anyone
Great experience, learned more about my phone, and awesome test! Thank you!!
Good all around although it could use a wired network connection test.
I've been toying with a number of these "test your phone" apps & I got to say this one is by far & away the most comprehensive testing app that I've run across. It tests nearly all points of data for a device then gives you a highly detailed report of the results. And does it with no obtrusive ads. Kudos to the Devs, & management too, for creating an app that simply works & doen't beat the user over the head with obnoxious ads. All apps should be so perfect.
Iincredibly thorough! It tests parts of the phone that I didn't even know existed and the HTML report can be mailed to a vendor to help diagnose problems. It does headset and channel testing so a good headset is helpful but not necessary. Test groups or even individual tests may be selected, so you don't have to run the entire suite just to check one area
Hi if the results say ok does this mean the phone is working and in good condition thankyou.
My problem was storage and CPU. This works pretty good.
love this app it easy to find out what is going on with the phone and what to do with your phone to fix it . I do a check on it everyday thanks again
This is one handy app! So I always repair my phone with a heavy handed approach and fear that I always damage internal hardware. This clears it up and leave my mind at ease! I honestly wish I could support the dev. One day! Not even sure what the in app purchases are. I did a full diagnosis without an advert or anything as such. Nothing seemed locked behind a premium pay wall... Every phone I fix will be dl-ing and running this app. I do however find it didn't exactly diagnose a white spot on my phone. It was due to pressure on the back of the LCD. Maybe add it in as possiblity. A simple clear suction cup let me know for sure it wasnt any defect but rather improper installation.
Have used it a few times. I feel it a very useful app. Very informative. If your looking to find out everything about your phone, this will tell you. Its a great way to test the various features of your phone, like display, sound and everything else. You can compare your brand of phone with others. That way you know if its still up to par. Has a few ads, but as they say, that's to be expected. Gotta pay the bills right?. If your wondering how your phones holding up. I would recommend this app.
It is extremely detailed and has a creepy amount of accurate information about your phone. Everything seemed correct except I'm having problems with my touch screen and it didn't detect anything about it. I'm going to try another app to see & compare results.
Nice app, I will use this on every phone I repair for customers. thanks :)
Nice tool. Simple, and effective.
Touch screen on 1+ 8 can only get 2 of 5 fingers to register. Same issue as one noted in critical format (missing 3/4 part of lower screen) submitted by Mike Stevens 10//11/19. I am missing half to complete blank screen @ startup. Only emergency works and have to start phone 2 or 3 times. However this is still a good app and has never failed on its analysis. T-Mobile investigation finds phone has more than likely, a factory defect. I would say, poor quality control . Swap in order!
I ran the tests and nowhere do I see the results, whether they are OK or not. Just a list of present sensors. UPDATE: thank you for the reply. I select which sensors I want to test. Then I get a page which says, for example, Sensors 2 of 2. Then there is a list of about 20 sensors... Gyroscope...pressure..magnetic field ...with various data which after certain time settle at certain values. ..and then nothing happens. There is no instruction what to do. At the bottom I see a Green button "OK," next a Red button NOK x" and a, orange " SKIP>" button. I would expect that while each sensor would undergo checking, there would be a horizontal bar showing the progression of the check and then a green OK checkmark would appear at the end of the bar (or red x), then the test for the next sensor would start. Same way the hardware is checked on the desktop computer. The hardware is checked sequentially, one after another. I understand, you have a different concept, but it is just not intuitive for me.
