I have both the moga pro and phone joy controllers, I think the phone joy controller is made to cheap the d-pad is mushy not respoinsve and the system is to long when extended, the people who complain about moga are novice users I'm a pro android guy so I'm able to make my controller work with every android app released even touch screen games can be mapped with a rooted phone And emulaters are amazing when u know what your doing
I used to have the Moga Pro. Thing didn't work at all. I tried my best to make it work and it sucked. Everything on the Phonejoy, phenomenal. Everything worked it's just that the D-Pad. It's not the best D-Pad but it's still good. The guy named Ray that made a review on this is garbage and has no common sense whatsoever.
From sparse documentation (what does iCade do for me exactly), poor game support and a flimsy spring core this is a very over priced beta product indeed. *Update* year later got it to work with Lego Star Wars. Pretty cool experience. Still over priced IMHO.
I own the Phonejoy 1 with the Phonejoy 2 in the mail. I use my game pad to play playstation and snes games on my Galaxy S5. It works good, but my complaints are 1) It barely fits onto my phone. The Phonejoy 2 corrects this issue and fits all current phones including the Note 5. And 2) The rubber grip on the On switch falls off. I stuck it back on but it doesn't stay. Also, I dropped it on the floor and now the right D-Pad doesn't work. I'm hoping the Phonejoy 2 is more durable. Other than that, I'm a fan.
Just got this controller from amazon. Got the pad, got it all sync'd up. Downloaded the app. App crashed. Opened app again, crashed. Samsung s7. Got the app open wont find the controller. Tried multiple times. Skipped the controller setup, it wont connect to server. So far this was not a good use of money. 2 days in and I have decided to return the controller. 0 support, 0 feedback. Controller and app are both hot garbage.
I still remember when it was only in Kickstarter and it was in progress, i waited years for this device thank you guys for this device (bought the first edition and its doing good till today)
Don't bother buying, the controller is terrible and not worth the money. Analog sticks are close to useless. Their customer service is non existent.
No s8 function. The app is broken and without it you have just bought a paper weight.
The controller doesn't connect, and the support button on their website links to a permanently blocked address. Screw you too.
Plz I really love this controller but.. this makes it hard to give 5 stars if no one care to fix.. if any alternative plz let me know
I think that I should be able to use this to play any game,not just the ones you guys offer on the phonejoy app.
Couldn't wait to get this item, only to find out only one of the games i own on my Note 4 works ( MC5). But not well at all. Very disappointed.
Phonejoy website has been down and server which updates the game list on the app are also not working. It seems they went out of business...
It didnt work always ( couldnt connect to server bad app )
Won't connect to the controller, and instead had to go to my settings to configure the device. Then after the setup, I wanted to test it on Modern Combat 4, and I can't look around, everything else works except my vision. Please fix the app so it can configure with the controller. My phone is a HTC One M8

I purchased the most expensive one which is great with the case and all. The controller is amazing and sturdy. The accessories work well, the carrying car is awesome and the app while still with a few bugs is much better than MOGA and much better support then MOGA as well. I'm glad I got this to pair it with my One Plus Two is a match made in heaven.
