PhoneLeash: SMS/MMS forwarding

So this basically does exactly what I want it to and I'll totally pay for it when my trial is up. The one thing I wish is that the texts being forwarded to the other phone number would appear in the same conversation as the other phone's conversation with that person. Instead, it's just a single stream w/ all the texts from everyone in it, which could make finding a particular text on your other phone harder. Assume there's a limitation to prevent this. Too bad. Would be perfect otherwise.

I needed to be out of the country for a few days without missing work texts and calls. My strategy was to insert the sim card into a different phone and leave it at home (since the phone has to be on and with service for this app to work). It worked absolutely fine. No one even noticed I was out since I was able to instantly reply by email as if it was from my phone. The only thing I missed or got late was group texts. Everything else worked great!

Amazing. Allows me to forward and reply to texts from a second phone (in my case, a flip phone), enabling me to no longer take my smartphone everywhere. Thank you Phone Leash!! You've helped me have a simpler tech free life while still staying in touch with friends and family on the go. This app is just what I was hoping for and I am happy to pay for the subscription after the free trial ends.

Coming to the end of an annual subscription and won't likely renew even though this is an invaluable service... it worked great for the first few months 98% reliability but in recent months it has been very sketchy, TXT replies via email no longer work 95% of the time ... they just disappear from your outbox and never show up in the txt app ... oh wait months later they randomly start sending in the middle of the night!!! (and the same ones over and over) ... If I refrain from replying via email the service is better ... until someone sends me a PXT message ... this stalls from coming to my phone for hours, and blocks all subsequent notifications that came after it till it arrives ... clearly the issues are with the back end services not the app ... but it still makes the service unreliable, and you can't run a business with that sort of communications uncertainty ... sad because if would be a fab system if you could depend on it!

I have looked high and far for a good app that would forward my sms from my personal phone to my work phone and finally I have found it. Now let me clear some things up for you re re's out there. You can download a 30 day free trial then if it has worked just the way you expected to then you may pay for the app 6 months at a time. The price per month is very reasonable very. Email technical support for setting help...ur good 2 go!! This app exceeded my expectations. Kudos 2 the developer!!!!

I like the ability to forward from my work phone to private While this is a paid app i find it works better than some of the freebies i tried recently Really good support when I have needed it. I do suggest you consider downloading it directly from phoneleash as they can quicker respond to bugs etc. One thing I would like to see is a change in the licensing. They do it on the receiving device not the sending device. I would like the opportunity to try both the email and the SMS reception Not sure why one cant register both

Working as expected, seems to be quite efficient and forwards both SMS and MMS with very low latency (ie. seconds). Email copies of SMS are a nice touch. Just don't try to set this up and test it with a forwarding chain whose destination ends with the original sender or you'll get anomalous results.

I don't know why people are whining about this app. It works perfectly if you follow the instructions and otherwise actually read the information posted. I am still in trial stage, and after my question is replied to from the help center, I will be purchasing a subscription for the duration of my needs. This app is fantastic for utilizing separate phone numbers without needing to carry both phones to receive texts. Combined with call forwarding from your service provider, it is a powerful tool.

It worked great during trial period. Cannot get help from emailing. Very frustrating.(Updated) we've been using this for a year now and absolutely love it. Would recommend it to anyone who's looking to forward text messages to do not miss anyting

Didn't work half the time and didn't tell me when trial was over or how to set it up after. Didn't send everything anyways. Edit... I never acted like this was a support page, I'm giving a honest review. And first time seeing this email address because on the app it's send logs and let's me know I probably won't get any support with the trial. If it actually worked I'd have purchased.

The gentleman operating this service has been extremely responsive. I have never had any issues with the service, to be sure. But I was offered assurances and frank answers to my question before purchase. If you have doubts about the service, send him an email. You'll likely get a quick reply. Further, the service works exactly as you expect. I use a Samsung work phone and a Google Pixel personal phone. I forward my work phone to my personal phone, alleviating any need to carry two phones unnecessarily. Between Samsung's call forwarding and the message forwarding from AutoForward SMS, I'm set!

It worked perfectly until the 6.05 & 6.06 update. Then it didn't forward texts at all. Paid for a licence for 6 months. I have a Samsung S20 Ultra and have followed the instuctions about forwarding from phone-leash but still didn't work. However 'phone-leash' got back to me after posting a review on here and I downloaded v6.09 from their web site and now it works perfectly again - forwarding both texts and whatsapp messages. Brilliant - couldn't ask for more. Exactly what I want.

This app was great when we we moved. We were able to keep the old phone texts coming into the new phone during the transition. Highly recommend.

Cons: Only does sms forwarding- $5/month for that is too high.+ a 6month minimum risky knowing it has been at risk by Google Play (not your fault) Pros: App works. Fowarding is responsive. Suggestions: we would be more inclined to pay, if the amount of downloads of this app was higher; therefore either make it a competitive one time fee, or a low no minimum monthly fee. Add call forwarding capabilities- your menus are WAY easier to toggle forwarding instead of messing with phone settings

Great App. Had it for a few months now. Does exactly as discribed. Only issue and its a minor one, is that some old texts are emailed repeatedly. Update, App Developer sent me an update to correct issue, problem resolved! Amazing!!!! Thanks!

One thing I really don't care for is the phone that fowards the messages shows it going to the other number, why can't it just fwd with out knowledge? The next thing I really don't like is how it doesn't forward all the messages, especially outgoing. Unless I go in and deselect all them then reselect them then Itll send a few messages to catch up. But for some reason only half the incoming msgs get fwd and NO outgoing messages get fwd, and I have it checked to send outgoing too.... Disappointed

I downloaded the app and tried going through the setup, there are 2 choices forward SMS text to phone number or to an email. Each choice results in invalid selection, error. Oh well so much for that.

I was using this application sometime ago and found it wonderful and unique in its utility. But now i am having this problem that missed call notifications are not forwarded on the sms. This is my primary use. Kindly tell me what can be done abt this. Thanks Updated the review for ur response. I liked it. But it is not becoz of the expired trial period. Sms r being forwarded but the missed call notifications r not. Please tell me how to fix this.

Fantastic It works very well. I have had it for a day, and , I am beginning to feel confident with it. I have forwarded my messages and whatsapp to a feature phone. This application helps me do a digital detox. I hope you guys keep this fantastic work. Regards Faiz Sidi

Excellent app functions very well with gmail. I dont need to keep my phone with me. As long as I leave my phone on I can send and receive texts from my email account. Great text forwarding app, recommended 👌

App seemed to work as stated but didn't have it long it enough to review when I wanted to stop forwarding my calls I uninstalled app and my calls are still being forwarded and I can't get any help to stop it! It's been a week and it's ridiculous I can't stop it!!....how can an app be uninstalled and still be working.... Someone pls help ASAP this is a nightmare....The phone where calls where forwarded too broke so now I can't get any calls cause this app won't stop!

Absolutely the best app to use for forwarding your important messages. Data Flows fluid to a gmail account. Convenient to teply to text, to oroginal device. I was having issues at first with yahoo mail. After changing target to a gmail account, absolutely thrilled with this app. Customer service/support is second to none.

The app doesn't mention the price after trial period or if does mention, I can't locate it. The auto message after install also doesn't mention. Nor do I see option to upgrade to paid version

I needed an app to help with the transition to another phone and new number. Phone Leash was Ideal. Zero Issues, providing exactly what I needed. In my opinion an EXCELLENT App!

Only works for 30 days, (free trial) then it stops working. Looked into how to purchase, emailed them at its 4.95/month, paid for 6 months at a time!! No thank you.

It turns into phoneleash after instsll and tried to use and did what insteucted to use.Turns out I was monitpeing my iwn phone and had no other options. I was nit impressed It does require posestion of target phone and diwnload the app on it, unlike the ad states .So. It may work otherwise ie childrens phone etc. Cuase they wont notice the phoneleash logo app on their phone maybe........

Have used this app a long time. It helps me organize my texts and emails in one spot. Great for keeping records of conversations.
