The features in general are pretty good. The filters and smart colour splash are particularly impressive. However, the ads are BONKERS. It's your decision, of course, but I'm uninstalling so that I can get an app that doesn't throw out ads every two seconds. Also one that doesn't place features (denoise, and dehaze, for example) right next to other features as if they're part of the app, only to have an ad pop up when you click on it to redirect the user to ANOTHER app. C'mon guys. Seriously.

I started using this app in 2012 and fell in love, literally purchased every filter and sticker available throughout the years, and never found another app where you could do so much, but you were busy the one doing it, the one in control, unlike some of the editors that just slap a filter on it and take the creative process out. I was absolutely heartbroken when I found out you'd has you run, and aviary was at it's end, done. Still, somewhere in my mind, I'm hopeful you will return for us all.

I used to love the app. It was my go to editing software. Now when I get on I have to close the ad that pops up and if I decide I don't want to edit the picture I selected I have to close that ad that pops up after pushing the back button before I can select a new picture. Blemish editing part is almost impossible to know if your editing the correct spot so if you mess up you have to start all over. I think there should be an undo button.

I love the app but the amount of ads are ridiculous. I would pay to remove ads because I use the app often enough and want to support the developers -- but I cannot find an option in settings for that. I use it mainly for rotating, cropping and adjusting the exposure/contrast/brightness of pictures, occasionally to draw on pictures or add text to them.

I love this app and it's never let me down. However, the ads are getting extraordinarily annoying. So much to where I don't even want to use the app all that much anymore. I used to use it all the time before there was an ad for another photo editing app (with the exact same stuff that your app has!) that would pop up every time I open the app and every time I finish a photo and it goes to my camera roll. I downloaded the Adobe Photoshop, one of the ads you showed me, and the only good thing about it was the collages. It also had the exact same things your app has. Again, why would I download another photo editing app and use up storage on my phone to get the same stuff that this app has? I like this app but jeez, the ads are truly annoying. And I'm one who actually tolerates ads. Look, I don't know if you read your comments (because I've commented on another app who also was loaded with ads and everyone else complained about the same problem but nothing changed), but I just want the old Aviary back; the one where there weren't ads, or maybe there can be a new Aviary where there are ads and it isn't as prominent.

It's a good app, but I am frustrated by the lack of undo functionality within each adjustment. For example, in blemish mode, I pick many dots, but if I get one bad, I have to start all over. Also, I miss the old fine adjustment scroll wheel option you used to have years ago. That, with the haptic "cogging", was pretty cool.

This was my go to photo editor for YEARS. However since they've started ad-bombing users for Adobe products, I quickly lost my affection for this app. Terribly disappointed. I couldn't go 1 whole minute without a full screen popup ad interrupting my editing. I even looked for a paid ad free version, but to no avail. Aviary was great... Is no longer.

I use this app for all the photos I take that need a little tweaking. I didn't need any experience using it, and all the presets act as great foundations to start with. Lately it's trying to promote Photoshop which is weird, but in having used this app for a number of years on three separate phones, I don't see myself going to Ps any time soon. Any photos edited on this have a really professional look and make a basic image look a million bucks. super easy to use - look no further.

I used to love this app. However, I changed phones and had to install a new version of Aviary. At first I was a little annoyed that an ad pops up when you open the app. I don't recall it doing the same thing on my other phone. Not a big deal, I could just clear it and move on with my work. This version doesn't have the same filters and settings that I've used previously, so I had to play around to find something that was close to the results that I used to get before. Why I'm giving it 1 star now, is that an ad pops up after EVERY picture I edit. I am constantly having to clear it before I can move on to the next picture. I have an online store, and it causes lots of delay and headaches when trying to prepare pictures for listings. Time is money, and you are now wasting mine! I am uninstalling.

For many many years this the only photo editing app I used. Recently ads have really taken away from the great experience I used to have . It's unfortunate but I will removing this app from my phone . There are so many other great apps with a little to no ads to choose from. I recommend you ease up on the ads or you will become irrelevant and simply go away .

edit on 8/30/2020: I had to restart my phone, and to my dismay, when I opened up the Aviary app everything was gone. All my favorite filters, all my favorite frames and everything except the original default filter pack... I came to the Google Play store, and found out my favorite photo editing app has been discontinued after so many years of being the best... so sad. I guess I got lucky that it kept working for me all this time before I reset my phone.

Had to switch phones..... I keep getting an error message.... failed to download cds manifest....nothing from the supply store will restore. I pay for Adobe and have full access and still will not download. HELP!!!! This is by far my favorite photo editor. I love this app. it has every frame i could ever want and it makes every picture i take better than the last. But what makes it really good is how easy to use it is. Keep up the good work. Thank you so much developers.

I personally love this app, I've been using this for so long, since I had my Note 3 and every phone upgrade I've had I've always downloaded it to my new phone! I can use photoshop on my laptop, as well as Illustrator, and Indesign but for some reason can't quite get the hang of the mobile apps; which is why Aviary is my go to! I'm sad to hear that the support for this app is ending and that our last version is coming soon! I've showed many people this app and they love it even if they don't post.

Great features, but the ads are a deal breaker. I've tried other editing apps, but I always came back to Aviary. Not anymore. The ads pop up at the worst times, and it's not just one and done for a while. I'd consider paying a small fee to get rid of the ads, but since that's not an option, I'm uninstalling and finding a better option.

It's always running in the background, draining my battery, I keep closing it in the task manager but it starts itself again after a minute or so. Also, I bought the entire palette of filters years ago, then my old phone broke, got a new one, and even snchronised with my google play account, the filters are GONE. I even made a stupid adobe account but even that didn't help it. This app is good as it is, but not anymore.

I would give this 5 stars as everything about it is great, but the adds are one of the worst frequencies I've ever seen. I'd upgrade of it was easy to see how. I can't deal with the adds. The actual functions are great and I'm grateful for that. Will begin to look for another app as its too much.

Aviary is one of my favorite photo editing apps. I appreciate Adobe not shuttering it immediately after acquisition, but stuffing it with premium subscription content was a weird move. Support for Aviary ended in December of 2018, so you might want to search elsewhere for your free photo editing fix; I hear Snapseed is great.

Great editing app. my only complaint is that I can't choose where to save the edited file. this would resolve the huge inconvenience of constantly moving the file off of internal storage every time I edit a file. 5 stars if this was possible.

love this app, i use it almost everyday. this is how i do all my photography editing! it gives me the choice to enhance the natural colours that are already in the photos i take. instead of filtering them and changing them. and when i get the photos printed. the editing still looks nice!

I've loved Aviary for a long time. It has always been my go to app for all of my photo editing. There are numerous options for filters, borders, and stickers. I love the whitening tool the most, but there are plenty of other tools that work well for editing.

This app is just only history for me. One big advertisement to Adobe. Even I paid for effects and stickers (or whatever I bought) I can see Ads on every corner. I can understand it if I wouldn't pay anything. But in this case when I paid? No chance to switch ads off, no chance to edit tool to rearrange it (it's not bug. I believe you made it let user is not able to rearrange it).. I am thrilled where are edges and limits of such deformated development..

Used to love this app for years, until recent updates destroyed it. Editing barely works anymore. Drawing on the photo doesn't work at all. Very disappointed. I guess there comes a time with every great app that the developers get greedy and ruin a good thing. So sad that after all these years I am uninstalling this and looking for a replacement. So unfortunate.

I had install this application long time ago yet today I'm able to use all premium features like effects, flames, stickers, overlays for editing pictures. thus, but unable to use on new smartphones since they had stop updates on application. I wish if they can give it for free rather disconnecting for users it would be really helpful and kind. Thank you developers for creating such awesome application really had a great time and experience using it.

Constant ads and for some reason the app causes all the numbers and letters on my lock screen to turn into white blocks every once in a while and the only way to get it back to normal is to restart the phone. Not to mention how much the app lowers photo quality.

I have used this app for years and loved it. In the past few weeks the ads have gotten out of CONTROL. Every time I tap on the screen to do anything, an ad pops up and freezes the app for a minute. I can't accomplish anything. Uninstalling now.

I like it quite a bit, but the ad after every edit is fairly intrusive, and definitely wastes time I don't always have. I didn't find an option to pay to turn them off, but I like it enough to do so, provided the charge is not too expensive.
