Photo Editor for Android

It's a nice app and has a lot of good features but the developer seriously needs to add 3 important settings... 1) Setting that will allow you to reorganize the bottom toolbar. 2) Give you an option to choose the folder you want to save your edited images into. 3) Give us an option to choose the size of the mark-up drawing pen. The default is way too fat... Also, you need to add an ad-free paid version. Not a monthly subscription but a flat rate paid ad-free version.

Been using this app for ages, but the latest update has completely ruined it. Some tools have vanished (blur tool was particularly useful, now gone). Effects have been slimmed down, and are no longer listed by name, making it really hard to find favourites. And finally, the ads have taken over so much they intrude on the screen area while editing. Time to uninstall.

There are many things I like about this app. The exposure, contrast, saturation, and warmth settings are easy to use, and give excellent results. This would be a four star review but for seriously limited cropping, and ads that overwhelm your navigation. The cropping feature limits you to cropped windows based on length-width ratios, 1:1 square, 3:4 rectangle, etc. The window you see is the window you get. Can't make it taller, shorter, or wider. Never encountered this before.Very limiting

I used the love the Aviary App. Very user friendly. It was by far the best editing app for graphic design and photo editing projects. However not liking the update. It now has many editing tools missing from original app like blurr and blemish which were so helpful in blending colors. I also noticed some of editing tools are missing for highlights, shadows, sharpen which I hope you bring back. Some things id love to see: more editing tools, more file size options, more colors on drawing tools

Except for having splash screen ads, this app is similar to my long-time PicSayPro. Much fewer options for editing, incl only one text font --->> which displayed, btw, is TOP QUALITY!!!!!!!!! This app cuts to the chase insofar as quickly identifying it's tools. A real TIME SAVER for a nice saved pic! Not many features (to get lost by an overwhelming number, like some other apps). Rest assured that you'll be pleased using!

After editing my photos, the quality of them at the very end has gone from clear & sharp before editing, to poor & blurry after. Was looking forward to edit quite a few but I won't now since the end result is worse than what I began with. I only use the frames to add to my photos to give them life. They shouldn't be blurred as the end result. Can anybody help please?

This update is horrible. No longer able to edit from with in the Gallery. Takes longer to load. Has click through ads up front before you can edit a photo. It feels dumbed down to be used by lowest common denominator. Used to be go to app for years. I'm looking elsewhere now.

I had been using this app for a long time and really liked the editing options. But with the latest update the "Splash" option has disappeared. Very disappointed as it was such a versatile tool for highlighting colour. Will have to look for a new app now.

For the most part, this app is very useful when it comes to editing pictures and the way they come out. I like the effects and the variety. However, sometimes my photos become blurry in the end. However, that may just be my phone. If it isn't, however, then the blurriness could be fixed if possible. Other than that, this is a great app!

I'm STILL upset regardless of the completely different upgrades. An option for "Text" and with "Colour." HA! I've wasted so much time trying to put colour to my texts for some projects but all there is, is white for the letters. BIG LET DOWN!! Why did you change the app format? I loved this app and now it's useless. I will not suggest it to my friends. Yes I am angry, that you took away my freedom to express in my own way. Its back to crayons and markers. That's how much you hurt me. COLOURS!

The app has the old filters from the original aviary app. But it's not the same. You cant tone the filters down to a lower density, or adjust the shadow and lighting. Hopefully yall update it

Sooooo completely un-special! Not much of anything. There are so many other, better apps that have more features - not the minimal features offered here. Persistent banner advert. Not a bad app, but nothing special. Uninstalling and continuing my search for a replacement for Adobe's abandoned Aviary!

If i wanted something so un-user friendly I'd of downloaded a brick. "New" update is horrible. Very clunky, slow design, poor reaction speed/touch settings. Android owners know how to use computers and like slim sleek monotone designs. We are not tech-illiterate dinosaurs. Big clunky fonts, colourful buttons, & tabs for stupid options prioritised over editing - should cost your designer their job. Super cringe. Loved Aviary for years but this version... I'd rather wear a hat I've just spewed in.

Honestly, what a boring world when everyone can be bought out and quality becomes nothing but a wish. Disappointed with this update. I am dropping this app and advising others to do so. It went from the only photo editing app aspiring photographers can use, to just another app with filters.

I don't usually write reviews, especially negative ones. I used to use this app few years ago and decided to get it again today. If you want to see an app that has regressed, this is a fine example. What once was a great, functional lightweight app is now complete unusable trash. Invest your data and time on another app. Bring back the old aviary.

I've used this app for years but I've just deleted it after installing it onto my bree phone and discovering I have an updated version which is awful. The great definition feature (scenery, food, portrait) has gone as had the transformation feature. What a shame.

Back to basics? Not sure what happened to this app, but the update seems to have removed a lot of the cool features, it's now like a basic version of all the other photo apps. Time to look elsewhere. I want amazing, not basic.

This app doesn't have the same features as the prior Aviary app. When begin to do editing, it makes you upload the picture two times. Then, I can't even find, on my phone, where it went.

Someone caught a really bad case of the Good Idea Fairy. Like many of the other negative reviews (rightfully so), this was the go to photo editing app. It would seem then that you had found your niche. Sadly that is no longer the case. Nothing good lasts forever...

Used to be okay (apart from full-page ads). Text option is now broken. The inner screen is black. I've got a screenshot of it. If it isn't fixed soon, I will be uninstalling this application.

Worst editing app in terms of features. UPDATE: It has come to my attention that this may have been "Aviary" at some point. If thats true they have completely fu$#ed this app, it used to be one of the the best on the app store for actual editing and usability. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Update: As suspected the app was made worse to pave way for Adobe(e) products. Bring Aviary back. Aviary was one of the best photo editing apps out there on Android. I would know because I used a lot of them Now one of the greatest editing apps ever is now a generic app that is mediocre at best. What happened? It was like someone commissioned your team to make the app much worse.

Not sure when they made the change, but they ruiened this app. I've used this app for years, one of the best. I just had to re-download it again and it's COMPLETELY different now. Who ever is responsible for the updated app needs to be fired, I will no longer use this now. Y'all took alllll the functions away and ruiened this app.

I've had the old aviary app for quite a few years with no problems,it has been brilliant but the new updated version is terrible in every way..what the hell happened..my advise is not to install it,total waste of time

A real step back from the older Aviary app which used to be brilliant. Now you have a downgraded app which doesn't even give clear instructions how to save your edits. Less features and a sneaky ad here and there make this totally pointless.

It's all i need to edit photos. It's not ultra complicated, i love the rounding option! I'm photographing my jewelry and this app is perfect for making everything look true to life.

it's difficult to get the picture from gallery n while saving also, complicated, also filters do not have names, everytime have to count, which was that I liked before n crop option also needs to be free hand
