Photo Lab - Photo Art and Effect

As many others are saying, this was an incredible app before the 'upgrade' this year. I've uninstalled it as it's now useless. No longer are the amazing paint brushes available, instead they've been replaced by tacky, useless stickers. Damn shame as there seems to be nothing else like the old version in the Store. If anyone can recommend an equivalent, please do.

This App is great for taking basic pictures & making them very nice! the App isn't a filter like some but you put the desired effects on like a paint brush. while you have many to choose from my only problem is the brush size is a bit larger than I'd like. Still you get nice detail from each brush or effect. I did three complex pictures just to test this out & they came out well. The ads don't interrupt you much & the preset places you can save a picture is well thought out. I'd give it 6.

:-) lots of different options - lots of pretty cool pen/brush effects. you can place brush effects anywhere and adjust the size and opacity of each.*** Things Id love for you to add*** : 1.I would love to be able to change the color of pen/ brush effects to match different pictures better 2...be able to blend them with blend modes. 3... also when i upload a picture it becomes skewed/ stretched...But because of the fun I can have and creative picture that I can make- 5 stars.

I used to LOVE this app... But now, I cant even use it. My pictures get stretched out width-wise on import, ruining what I wanna do from the start. And if that wasn't enough to make me immediately uninstall, a lot of the features that used to make this app unique and irreplaceable have been removed...transforming it from a singular, wonderful photo editing app to a steaming pile of garbage. I dont normally leaving such mean reviews, but...this was so disappointing

very happy with this app! I'm a muralist and street artist, and this setup lets me embellish the everloving hell of my rough images and photos, not to mention all the options for fine tuning and high res file saving, which is always a concern when working on a mobile platform!!👊🤑

This is a first when it came to rating an app. I could not wait to be finished with my picture so that I could get to the rating and rant and Rave about what an unbelievably beautiful app this is and with no practice you can do the most GORGEOUS effects I've ever seen. It is not an editing app like some, it is soley to add beautiful design and effects the likes that I've never seen. I can't imagine how far I could take this app when I do have some practice using the design tools. So simple and so stunning and it does exactly what the app claims to do. Being completely free they do not overwhelm you with ads. It is very reasonable and I would recommend this app to anyone whether you're a beginner or whether you're a pro. Thank you programmers for putting out an app that actually does what it says it's going to do and is beyond beautiful with what it does.

ADS are very annoying. Like every step of the way there are ads that you have to endure. Unlike other apps that have better features/effects/filters but lesser ads. Like only when you are saving your pix. But with this app, it's oooover!!!!

Easy to figure out, but it will take some time to master it. I've used this app a handful of times and will probably use it again in a future project. Suggestion: be able to change colors and spread on some of the effects(unless it's there and just cant figure it out)

I havent had any problems yet.. I've only tried it on one picture but I loved it some much tha tf I thought I'd make a review. it wasn't what I expected but honestly I didnt reall have expectations to begin with. it adds cool affects to the pic and you choose where it goes. if you dknt like it you can just return it to the original and I love that.

This used to be a five-star app. Unfortunately, a recent update has rendered the app utterly worthless. Everything that was so great about this app is gone. The features that made this one of my favorite photo editors have all been removed. I can't imagine what they were thinking when the revamped this. They ruined a good thing and replaced it with garbage. I can't say enough how badly they screwed up.

It's not as good as I expected, I thought it would look like the demo's at the downloading page, there is no blurring affects at all, exept one: The default., I reccomend that you should not download it, it'll just take up space.

Hmm I like it but there's zero help on how to create what's seen in your add... You have to combine many many many effects to get this stuff.... Not for a novice at all.. Basically only photo editing degree holders could use this app

I used to love this app. The older version was thousand times easier and better to use. Sad it changed. No blur effects and you now need to guess what the effects are. Preferred the previous version.

very interesting effect. just a simple editing. But there was no save button for your finish editing picture. I don't know how my picture are save.

Okay this app is great but it would be a lot more amazing if it had a legit ERASER for the parts I didn't want to layer ,or at least make the drawing tip adjustable bec it's just tiring to restart all over again

This app used to have a great filter in it where you could actually use different blurs and different types of styles to manipulate photographs the scream ever since I had to redownload it it's all up so many stars and star this and star that I want to share and it's very kiddish and childlike I give it one star and that's all it really deserves even less

Little annoying at first, the collage part is a handful with only the option of 9 pics, also i was looking to set my own background. But all in all worth it for the super sweet effects

the ads are everywhere. i couldnt even edit a picture because there was an ad over the tools and to begin with my picture would pop up blank everytime i wanted to edit.

It's okay, but either there aren't enough options or I just can't find them. I personally don't really like how there's no way to color the effects, like make the hearts pink. Not the best, sorry.

I can't do anything in this app. there is an add on top off the icons which I can't close. I am unable to do any editing and on top of that I can't even see the photo I selected let alone edit. I really wish I could use this app . plz do something about it.

It. Sucked. Like what the hell?! You need to make it where we can actually click the tools, instead of making it where we can't! You also need to make it where our photos load up faster!

Cool app, but you can not download or save your images, you can only share them trough social media, cant even create a background fir your self. I understand company needs to make money but this rating is for free app. if you want to buy, thanbits a great app.

Great... If you want to create your own background effects... I wish if there were little more options other than 34 effects... Your users would increase... Thanks a lot

I wouldnt know how well this app works because as soon as i opened it there were adds everywhere! I tryed going back, and more! Needless to say i uninstalled it right away. Sad because from the app preview pics it looked amazing. Just goes to say..dont judge an app by its cover!

I'm not able to use any of the features they are blocked by the add at the bottom of the screen so I'm not able to select anything please fix would love to use!

I want the older version back. It was so much easier to use and it had the blur effect. I would love to have the old version again.
