Photo Overlays - Blender

I wanted to hate it, but I ❤️ this app. It does everything Photoshop Express doesn't do, which really works nicely for me. I'm a guy. It'll be a cold day in Hell before I'll read instructions. This app was no different, and yet I still combined different pics and made them look great. Seriously, a have to have app for photography, artists using digital media, creative people, and all those kids under 7 who seem to know how to work every function of a smart phone like they developed it (smh).

This is an Amazing app. It makes layers and blending so simple. There's also some very beautiful frames. You can write on your project w/ different fonts. Pick from lots of different backgrounds or use your own. There's a few stickers also. Premium is only $.99 cents only it just removes the water mark. You can sign up for a community but I wasn't able to post or see anyone else to follow? So not sure what that part of the app is about? Will feature on my website for sure!! Loved it 💯 🔥

Not impressed at all with this app.I was very disappointed with how limited the options are for editing. Basically you just pick a background picture, and pick an overlay for the background picture, but all you can do is turn the picture left or right and fade it in and out. There's no other editing options. what effects the app offers aren't great. So just a waste of space in my opinion. 👎

It is the best overlay app I've ever seen. Best thing is, it allows you to adjust the picture, background and the effects as you wish along with the immense collection of background available. I suggest that if you create such a variety of collection in the overlays as well (even though you can use the background as an overlay) along with giving an option to search required type of picture like lion in the category of animals, grass in the category of forest, etc., your app would be the best.

So far it is excellent and exactly what i needed. I am using it to layout several elements for a huge commercial wall mural/collage. This is an excellent tool for visualizing a finished mural and it gives me something I can show the client immediately. If she wants to make changes, we can do it on the spot. This literally saves me DAYS/HOURS of sketching. From planning the job to executing it (it gives me a reference photo to paint from) this is tbe app i should have had years ago. Thank you! 🏆

Exactly 💯 as described! I'm not what one would consider "computer savvy", more like , I know what they are, and how to get by, buy that's about it. This app allowed me to create a photo about a topic I'm very passionate about with ease. Straight forward with all the proper tools to accomplish YOUR particular goal. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP

It does exactly what it says it does, and seamlessly as well. I'd love an option to either tag or note original artists for any borrowed works that get modified. My only issue thus far seems that sometimes on switching between applications it can *sometimes* erase all of my work, but also sometimes it doesn't?*shrugs* So just be wary. Otherwise it's perfect.

There's many better options available for free. The ads are almost too much, but the I'm getting rid of it due to its functionality. First there's only 2 things you can adjust while blending, second you only have like 12 options for the background blend image, and 3rd maybe someone else can but I didn't find any 2 pictures that would work together decent enough to look cool. Oh and you can only make square pictures.

this app is my favorite "fantastic" photo editor (as in not for realism) the degree of customization in the hands of the use is significant--you have good control of what part of the photo you want overlaid and with how much transparemcy. easy to use, with TONS of available content (and user controlled content) without forcing a paid upgrade. LOVE it!

Sooo I was gonna go easy on this app until I realized that all of their photography and edits are stolen (without even credit... Photographers gotta eat too guys). Basically the app is useless except for the photo library you can use for backgrounds (again, stolen). The editing features are almost nonexistent and very awkward, and at the end it puts a watermark in the lower right corner. You can either crop it out in another program or pay $1 for their "pro" version. Ugh.

One of the best free overlay apps in the market. So nice to use an effect and not be told it will cost me money. This app has stickers, frames, borders, filter effects, text and text effects. The ability to get creative and blend your photo into a backdrop achieving a good result, however, is where this app shines.

I've used some of the other overlay apps which did not produce the effect I wanted. Came across this one and I absolutely love it! it blends superbly, the features and adjustments give a nice variety. The only thing I would like to see more of is a better variety of "land" backgrounds. Thanks!

The backgrounds are beautiful. If you are looking for an app that has a decent amount of beautiful backgrounds and you are just using a photo of one person, or even a group; but it's ideal for a close up self portrait that you want to blend with breathtaking backgrounds . ( And if it's the right picture you can create a fantastic picture.

I dont know if I'm doing something wrong but the saved version looks nothing like the photo I edited. I will edit til I get an image I like but when I click save it will show a really blown out photo with a bluish tone. I don't know if it's because I didn't select the option to remove the watermark. But I don't want to risk paying if my result will look like what they sent me.

Very easy to use. Would be better if overlays & background photos could be moved around/pinched/zoomed by the user to place the bubbles & various special effects where they want on/in the image. You can only manipulate size/angle of your photo, E.g. of a face or pet. Otherwise GREAT little editor. Thank you for creating it!

I'm old school, dark room kind of photographer and have rejected technology since i used to hand paint pictures and splice negatives together and loved the artist voice i could add to photos but this was fun to use! I'm not sure if there is a way and i didnt see it but just i wanted to go back to the picture i added to the background and adjust the stuff i erased and couldn't. Maybe i just didnt see it. But i see myself using this frequently in the future. Thanks! 👻👾🤖

This app is exactly what I wanted for blending and editing. With many more backgrounds (amazing selection) then any other I've tried (and I have used a lot!) The ads are so short no videos or most apps you can only use half of the features. there absolutely stunning pictures. Thank you

my one complaint/ recommendation is that you add a feature to allow you to copy/duplicate an image. i wanted to add the same picture i had edited repeatedly, this took me ages because I had to re-edit the same image again and again but apart from that, seems really good and easy to use and understand, even for beginners.

Easy to learn and the ads are reasonable. I really like when I access my photo gallery on my phone, it displays my folders as opposed to other photo editors that display all my images in a jumbled mess. The editing features truly allow you to be creative. Plus I can access my pixaby account (a free photo and graphics site) to grab content for endless creative possibilities. You won't wear this editor out in 15 minutes and uninstall it! This one is a keeper for me!

Okay, I think I would love to use this app but haven't been successful yet. The app seems to not allow using the photo's from my "Chromebook Gallery", but seems to "want" me to install Google Photos to use their app, which I don't care to do - at least not yet. I don't care to store my files anywhere online, that's just not for me. I would hope to see the app allow photo file retreival straight from one's device. Also, this app seems to be for phones, not tablets, as it opens cell phone size.

OMG this is amazing and so fun. It has got me excited about photography again. I went in with very low expectations, I have completed my first little project and I'm actually completely blown away with how many adjustments you can make and how cool it actually is. The last time I was excited about photography, you couldn't even buy digital Cameras!

No tutorial or help, the only way to exit a layer is to hit the back button which means you lose the image & have to start over because there is no "save"? Then you only have a choice of the backgrounds they offer because you'll just receive a "connection error" to Pixabay. It looked like this app has far more capability than it actually does

So many overlays from awesome galleries that they have or you can use your own and I didn't have any problem with a Samsung G5 saving pictures or doing any of the effects. Best overlay ever seen in years except for maybe the ones that has built-in Auto Effects that build pictures out of your pictures and you can select which one you like.

Necessarily, I use Photo Overlays in conjunction with other apps. An app by itself rarely provides every feature an editor need. Nevertheless, Overlays is a great app to fine-tune a composition.

I really like this app. Its very easy 2 manuever the tools & easy 2 learn how 2make my pix look really diff & cool. Most apps charge an arm &a leg 2go premium but this app charges only 99¢! I thought that was nice especially it being Xmas & I don't have alot of funds 2be spending randomly at will. But now I can make some pix for the family& print them out, buy some do it yourself frames for 99¢ &paint them with my acrylic paint & send them out 2 people,THANK U!!!!!

If the image didn't rotate when trying to adjust the size, this app would be a 5 star app. The watermark looks fantastic and the enhancement options are great. That rotation when trying to adjust screws it all up. Add a size adjustment without rotation and it's perfect.

Super Easy to Use! I've only had my phone a few weeks and I was able to figure out how to manipulate the photos easily. I even blended two photos together on my first try and it came out awesome! They exceeded my expectations for a free app!

I actually like the app better than I originally thought. Thank You, so much for bringing an app that's very simple to use and yet, so beautifully crafted. I'm amazed and so would you.
