Photo Sherlock - Reverse Image Search

It is supposed to be a face recognition app but then it give me things like different hair styles to the person in the picture and when i do get something from google it seems to be in Chinese or Japanese. All i want is face recognition,nothing else. Please sort out the language problem too.

I'm sure its great for finding objects. This app, like all other reverse image apps and Google search are evidently stifled by some privacy or copyright law or another...who knows. There was a time when identifying a catfisher was so easy - but now no longer. I'm sure that's good news for the scammers. Its bad news for those of us who have an "eye" for a scammer but need absolute proof to turn them in and thereby save 100s of others from being taken in by said scammer. Shame. And the ads...ugh!

I paid to remove the adverts in the app. However, this does not include the ads for the Devs other app called Versus. This means you have a button, forever present on screen that if you accidentally touch it, will give you a popup asking you to install some unrelated app. It's also present in the settings menu as a link to the play store. If I pay money to have a clean, ad-free experience, please make this true and not a half-truth. Very disappointed as it ruins the UX and makes me feel cheated.

Garbage. If you are trying to find out who someone really is don't waste your time. Thos app isn't helpful in that sense at all. If you need to find an object online and where to buy it. Just use Google lens. Most phones already have that so no need to download another app

I like this app very much.... And I can search anything in this app by taking images...... But I have 1 - thing that we cannot go to gallery and select images only we can click photo...... That's my problem...... I like you this app 🙂

Very dependable app. Google lens should always be a option from the start is only confusing part.

One that uses yandrex which is much easier to use on a browser! So sad! Yandex search engine website looks like an image search winner!

I knew who the picture was of, And just submitted the picture without any information, and it identified the person, excellent.

I make jewelry and this app has helped me id many gems. It's easy to use and normally right on the money. I like it a lot.

It a good app. It's easy to use and it definitely works. I wanted to find some information about a guy I communicated with. I did and now I am disappointed about him.

Great app I have no problems with it. I have found people on Twitter and other places when I uploaded a picture

Very disappointed. I used this a lot a while back but ot seems the android version simply uses Google to retrieve images based on sear h terns it thinks may apply. Example: searching on an image of the old Courthouse in St. Louis determines that I am searching for "classical architecture" yeah good luck finding this needle in a haystack. Oh, plus, the image you are searching for is nearly completely covered up with an add for Google. What a joke.

As with many similar apps, this doesn't come anywhere close to the image you submit. You'd think with all of the strange, yet efficient apps out there, this wouldn't be such a difficult concept... but it is. This app is incredibly useless.

It is a garbage app that doesn't reverse image search, just gives basic search results.

Damn Fine App. It brings my tasks at hand plenty of lovely people with great helping hands.

Still needs more database, but has found some faces I thought I'd never find

It doesn't work, you upload something and hamster wheel just goes around and around and nothing happens. I tried uploading for pictures and the same thing happened. I have service I'm not on Wi-Fi so there's something wrong with this app.

So far it's fun but not real accurate

Seems to just be an ad wrapper for Google and Yandex reverse image searches. Also there seems to be no way of copying links from the results, which is kind of useless when you want to share the results.

When I first got this, I actually got amazing perfect hits on images. I got very valuable information! Now there are no hits, just super general pics that are not close the persons pic I inquired about. Bummer!

So far it's ok. Can't find original pictures just yet. But it has others to look through.
