Photo Vault by Cover Auto-Hide™ Pictures & Videos

Good app, only had 2 false positives out of almost a mix between 700 pics and vids... mostly pics. However the pictures still showed in the gallery and said "covered by cover" which was annoying. And so I decided I'd use a different app and wanted to "uncover" everything. So I selected everything at once and selected uncover but it only put like 10 things back to the way they were. I literally had to "uncover" stuff one by one... for almost 700 things. And when it came to the vids.... it slowed the app down... Because there would be lag because the app would be restoring the vid. Which wasn't even a big video btw. So it took almost 2 hours or more because the app kept freezing while I was uncovering stuff 1 by 1. It also didn't cover like 40 things that it should have. Overall the app did a good job detecting stuff to hide or whatever but definitely annoyed that I couldn't batch uncover stuff even though the app gives you the option I still had to undo stuff 1 by 1. Also no option to add stuff manually that the app missed. So if I have anything to say to people thinking about installing the app... I tried it thoroughly and it was a headache worse than what it's worth in the current state as of 12/17/18

Not sure if it actually detects anything NSFW because so far it hasn't found anything - I was mostly curious as to how many false positives it would flag - but I DID find that some pictures slow it to a CRAWL. I have some photos I took of caves on a trip I took ages ago and it is taking several hours scanning these. I left it running overnight and it managed to analyze four of them. So beware, pictures that don't have people in them but have skin-like tones might throw the app into a tailspin it can't recover from.

I am very dissatisfied with the Cover app. As soon as I started the app, it automatically began to scan my files without my permission. After the scan finished, my files did not appear in the Cover gallery for me to view, and there is no option to recover my files. Now, I no longer have access to my files, and when I contacted support they requested that I send them my files so they can try to recover them. This is unacceptable!! Apparently, this app is not ready for distribution.

Added watermarks and covered images when I specifically turned if off in setting. Over wrote a ton of my high quality stuff. Uncover all function doesn't work, and I can't recover by manually selecting uncover. Don't use if you don't have a backup of your content

Good premiss but does not work well. No way to add photos it missed (that I've found) Doesn't hide/cover photos or videos received via text unless downloaded; but they can still be seen in the thread. Stick with a good password and/or app locker until this gets better

App works well but £50 a year to remove ads and a watermark from your own photos is excessive. Especially when there are other apps that do almost the same but for free and without a watermark. A one off payment I can understand but a subscription model is downright greed

It's ok, I don't like active notifications, and there is no way in settings to remove the notification icon so it locks up more space on my notification bar. Might think about this app at a later date if that ability is made available

It's a nice idea but it replaced media files without asking has almost no options didn't restore the files when removed and did a pretty bad job of identifying all the NSFW images. It was difficult to add new ones. Over all pretty bad implementation

I am not getting any response from your emd. Its been 15 days and no response from your end. You are simply sending emails. But that of no use. Whatever you asked I have provided all to you. But still I am not getting any positive feedback. I am still waiting for your response. I have sent several mails but there is no response from your end. Just look in to it and let me know that from where I can see my all lost videos. As after securing in vault. When I am restoring it. It's gone.

not able to uncover photos after they are covered. Lost a lot of my photos and video. This app works great until you try to uncover. very disappointed and angry.

Do not use this app, used it, tried unblocking all my pictures, some remained blocked and now won't unblock at all, also it is frustrating to use, closes itself everytime, and has an intrusive ad pop up each time you use it.

Had a few hiccups, but Tech support was able to hook me up. In fairness, it was a bit of a user / ID-Ten-T error. I'll revisit in a version or 2.

Some of thes images are permantant)y disabled. Please help to retrive those files 🙏😫😭.. i have contacted your customer support. But no response. Please don't respond standred response. Your software has bug. It is mess up my all images. All people dont use this software it will destroy your all images...

They index all your photos for sale in Facebook Analytics. The app stopped working after Android 10 and I can not restore any of my pictures or videos that were falsely moved. Beware and stay away!

Hi. I have sent you several mails. But you are not responding at all. I have warned you to get it back all my personal content which is not visible after restoring from Vault. But you are not giving me proper updated. You are simply stealing the personal content of the users and mis using it.

good idea but i noticed not all images get covered, plus tge ones that did wouldnt uncover when i tried to ooen them. The option to use your finger peint to uncover them never came up. I uninstalled app and yet images and videos are still covered?! why and how is this?

This app is rated 2-stars only for its positive intention to be "many things at the same time" and "keep user's content their own", as it says about itself. On the contrary, it badly FRUSTRATES user by getting user's important data ( photos, etc) unretrievable and lost, as additionally confirmed by many other reviews here! This makes this otherwise uniquely great app, a rather distructive, deceitful app!! Developers, pls fix this data loss issue, or remove this app from Play Store! Thanks.

Thee best app, but need some improvement please add cloud backup(Google drive, one drive, Dropbox, box, like that) option and external backup option for safety and privacy. Consider my suggestion and give the best. Best wishes to developer and the team... 🤘

Pretty easy to setup and use with occasional bugs. It still needs some work but it's already the best app available in it's category.

Freezes the scan after scanning few images before the setup. This app requires full scan to all the images and videos in the mobile before setting up. Doesn't work with storage permissions denied .

I don't know My all images nd videos are where to go..one day when I opened this vault to checked my images then it showed that vault is empty 😓..it hurts me a lot..my all memories are dont know where to go😓
