PhotoCineView

PhotoCineView is a Directors Viewfinder Application that simulates the Field of View of today’s most commonly used digital cinema cameras.

It allows the user to compare the coverage and aspect ratio of two digital sensors simultaneously, making it easy to anticipate lens and camera choices.

With new generations of full frame cameras, the number of existing sensor variations multiplies, the application quickly solves the mysteries of FOV and «Crop Factors»

The tool is simple and quick to use:

- The coloured rectangles make it possible to visually compare the various sensors

- Screenshots can be saved to the Phones Image Libraries

- A number of technical specifications of each camera such as Weight, Framerates and Recording Formats can also be easily compared to one another.

For the moment, the Application only simulates spherical lenses. 2X and 1.3x Anamorphic support is coming soon in an update.

Does not open. Stuck loading data. Used to be a solid app. Dissapointed. Tried uninstall and reinstall. Found a great alternative... Magic Universal ViewFinder by Roman MedVid. There are a few versions with different supported cameras and free/purchase/subscribe.

It says "Loading Data" on first run and doesn't go any further. Would love to use the app but for me it is unusable and it seems I am not the only one.

When I take pictures it saves a white image with the focal length boxes. Useless for scouting unless i take a screenshot. I'm using a OnePlus 6T, and it happened the same in my OnePlus 3

Just keeps saying "Loading Data...." Any conspiracy theorist would think it's just collecting your personal data.

It's a good informative app but it's lacking library for the Micro Four Thirds families from Olympus and Panasonic!
