Photomyne Album Scanner

Great app to capture old photographs and digitize them. It's easy to use and also easy to edit the results. It automatically finds the corners of the photo and instantly crops out extra trash for you. It is the best app that I have found in any category in a long time because it does what it promises to do and it does it quickly and effortlessly. In other words, I highly recommend it! I thank the developers for their hard work and for making it easy to use.

So easy to use. I can scan a full album in minutes. Photomyne does a terrific job of cleaning up the photos and saving them to the app as well as my phone. I brag about Photomyne at every opportunity.

This app was great for the first day. Could download to my phone. But NOW it's holding my pictures hostage, saying I can't download my own pictures that I got restored and glare off unless I upgrade. I wouldn't be trying to use a free service if I had the money to pay for restoration! I deleted everything and uninstalled. Complete disappointment.

I absolutely love this app! I does such a great job! I love the colorizing feature! I have found it to be pretty good. Some times it doesn't colorize right but I have found that it is because the photo had a sepia tone to it. It works good on true black and white photos. I'm so excited to have good quality digital copies of my parents baby photos. Everything I have digitized I can share with family members with the share feature. Love it!

Photomyne has saved me so much time. I am trying to copy all picture I have in large containers that go back years and years. I am the oldest grandchild so ended up with old family pictures too. This ability to copy multiple pictures at a time has taken a great load off my shoulders. Also, to see the ancient black and white pictures in colour is wonderful.

So far so good. The only suggestion however is that sometimes you really do want to catch the edges of the photo where family members have written stuff. This automatically crops it out. It would be nice if there was a setting for this.

You can't use the app unless you suscribe, they will kidnap your photos otherwise. It's really not well communicated here or inside the app. And the plans are too expensive for my needs. It's a shame because the app itself works well.

It's a nice app. Easy to use and I like the auto cropping and enhancement. However, at £8.99 a month its far too expensive. Without subscribing you can't share or save photos to your phone. They've even prevented screen shots for "security reasons". I'll find another way to save old photos. Deleted.

Scans are the highest quality of any app I tried—too bad the auto-cropping feature doesn't work. I've scanned over a hundred photos so far, and in each one the crop is off on the right and left sides, by the same amount, every time, meaning I have to go back and re-crop each one manually. Not fun.

I probably don't use the program to its full capability but will now explore further. However, I just paid a further $29.99 in membership and still count get access until I had paid a further membership. PLEASE explain!

Decent app.....but you cant just share your photos and or albums. The other person has to download the "share" app. Im not making my friends download another app to view my photos. Premium subscription should include sharing option through the app.....

There was no issue with scanning and downloading photos on my computer. But in the moment I opened first photo my computer went down. I tried to reset computer and open it in safe mode but it also didn't work. I am now reinstalling Windows which meant losing all data I had. There was also some error when I was downloading photos on my phone but it doesn't look like it done anything - I think whatever was wrong with it was blocked as some of the photos didn't download.

The more I use it the more I like it. There are some very useful features and tools to enhance your photos and you can add your stories to them. The ability to import digital photo shots and the auto fix does it all is brilliant. The best thing I've bought for years my dad's wwii memories safe for generations to come. Very very good...

For the price, wonderful app. Could use some manual adjustment options, but overall great. Such as adjusting the clarity or sharpness, adjusting the tones of colors.

Very nice app. Basically makes it easier on you to scan your pictures and edit them. I recommend if you like saving time. It does a good job in that sense and allows you to try the app fully, which is nice. I wish there was a monthly payment option, other than only yearly.

If your looking for a free app this is not it! I thought I would give it a try cause I just wanted to save some old photos. I was not aware those photos would not be accessible to me out side of the app. So I destroyed a few pictures I took on Photomyne. I also wasn't aware my free app had a limited time before I had to purchase a membership. So when I went back on the app to save my pictures to my phone I no longer add access to them. Wrote several times but lost those pictures forever!

This app is completely deceptive. I did a 3 day trial and now can't find a way to cancel it. Wish the reviews on here were realistic. It also scans at a very low resolution. You'll be better off just using your camera. That's what I will do. Recently disappointed. Giving it 1 start is too many.

I would give it less if I could!! This app let me scan photos, but when I went to upload the photos to my Google account; it said the files/photos did not exist, this all happened in the first 45 minutes of downloading the app. Thanx for losing my photos (that I will never be able to replace).

Subsciption required! I didn't realize that you cannot view your photos FULL SIZE unless you buy a subscription. Your photos are held captive until you pay, so I deleted the app and now happily using another app

Love it. This has saved me so much time. I'm sure I could probably get higher quality scans from a scanner, but for just grabbing a quick image it's brilliant.

ZERO STARS! WASTE OF TIME! You can take all the pictures you want. But unless you pay for the app, you can't do anything with the photos you've just taken. You can't even save them to your phone. And to Photomynes reply, YOU NEED TO STOP FALSELY ADVERTISING THAT THIS APP IS FREE TO USE! ITS NOT! Not a single feature can be used without paying for it!

Fantastic tool to turn all your photo album photos into digital photos! I love the fact that you can do a whole photo album page with one click and Photomyne will separate each photo and crop and enhance each one. You still do your own/more edits if you want to

I am blown away by this app. At first I thought, why is this so great and how is this going to be really useful. Well I have to say within the first 5 min I was like, "OH! This is Why! Alright I Get it now. So I've only been using it for like 10 minutes now and everything that I've done in that 10-minute time 8 iperiod completely easy to do. You can pay for more features but what it has stock suits me just fine. I have 3 pics in an album already & the quality is very good! Definitely recommend!

I installed the Photomyne Scan App in September 2019. To date, I have scanned nearly 10,000 photos ranging from 1949 to 1999. Very good scanning App, and very happy with a one-off purchase for 5 years. They are all saved to my laptop, and backed up to a Terabyte. Sandra May, Sydney, Australia. 28 March 2022.

Love it. I have so many old photos as well as new that I'm having to put on a DVD and this app takes wonderful pictures of the pictures. It has even cleaned up some of my photos and made them look better.

Great app well worth the yearly subscription have scanned loads of pictures and loads more to do why have old photos in a box in loft etc where you have to dig them out to share when they are right here well impressed
