PhotoSplit - Photo Grid Maker for Instagram

A really good app! I enjoyed it until it stopped me from saving photos to my phone. It's useful to be able to do that so I can save them to post later on, but after saving 2 sets of pictures you have to pay for a premium subscription. I know that apps need revenue, but I'm not going to pay for a subscription on a picture cropping app that I could do myself if I'm not feeling that lazy. There's also other apps out there which are completely free. Great for 2 minutes, but the payments soon roll in

I selected my photo to split and was able the first 8 but NOT the last one. I had to go back to my Instagram account and delete the 8 posts that I was able to do. Why would you offer a free app and then allow someone only post 8 of the 9 images of the grid before shutting them down and telling them they must upgrade to complete? Deleting this app asap and finding a new one that will actually let me try a complete post before asking for a review and demanding an upgrade for completion.

The free service is limited only up to TWO photo splits. They insist users to rate the app way much too early. We didn't even get the chance to try the main feature - uploading the grids. I got fooled with the high rating because actually those aren't real reviews. If you're looking for free app, don't install this app from the start.

Basically there's been an update, I don't use this app at all, just have it for fun and have literally used it once when I first downloaded it. I am not a pro customer and I don't intend to be either! I was able to split a photo into 3 x 3 before, now you're having a laugh, 1 x 2 and 1 x 3 is all that is available before having to become pro for this basic feature! I'm deleting this app!

Ridiculous app. It only lets you make one photo and then you have to either buy the pro package or uninstall it and re-install it to make another. And it's not like it does anything super cool. There are tons of other apps out there that let you do the same and more for free, multiple times. I downloaded it only because it was the first one that came up in the search.

Pretty good. Idk wt people are saying about it not letting you save one photo unless you get pro. It worked fine for me. I rate it a four starer since while editing it produced a pop up promoting one of their other apps and to rate it before I had even finished the first image. Besides that, not bad.

This could be better if the app actually gave you a chance to use it before asking for you to rate it! It looks as if it's going to work for what I want. But I have not actually used it yet! After trying it I discovered it rearranged the grid pieces and failed to reflect the whole image.

This is the only instagram cutting app I've found that doesn't trick you into thinking its free by letting you post the photos, then stops you on the last one or two, saying you have to pay to finish your photo. And its very quick and easy!

Allowing to share only two photos after the split is a very dumb strategy. Atleast make it free for one photo. After adjusting the scale of the photo and sharing one by one to Instagram after writing so much about it - it is frustrating to realise that you can't share the last photo.

Uninstalled immediately!!! What a waste of time, won't let you even split down one photo before trying to get you to pay for the full version which apparently does exactly the same thing... Will not be recommending to anyone!!

It's great if your resolution is not too big but needs 3 more grids because my camera resolution in full is much higher and have to crop my pictures for the 3x4. For pro version they should allow unlimited grids which don't require any overhead neither in the app or instagram. I would give it 5 stars if they increased the grids to at least 15 or more so that my full resolution shots can fit without cropping them which was my main reason for paying for the app. BTW the free version allows 2 uses.

I wish there was some way of having a fading out watermark. That disappeared once uploaded.... so that you could see the sequence in which the pictures could be the same colour hue other than that I love it. Thank you.

The app is not free. It allow to edit only 2 photos and then forces to buy the pro. I almost even bought the pro, but that didn't even work with "cannot connect to the play store" message. There are much better apps available.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Asks for money after you've tried the app twice. It does the job, but it's insane they're tryna profit off of literally splitting up photos. There are so many other apps that do the same thing, for free.

Needs as many crop options as the competition. A cute interface only gets you so far. The numbering system helps too... But in the end the lack of crop options make this one a last resort for me.

The app works but even after you pay for the pro version you still get ads showing up on the screen. If you want the ads to stop you'll need to give a review basically cornering you into giving a review. I don't like being cornered especially after I opted to pay for the pro version immediately after downloading this app.

I wish i could give an honest opinion of this app but for real, I used it for ten seconds before I got an alert to rate. Then I used it for another ten seconds before I got another alert to rate, then when I tried to save a grid to my gallery I got three alerts in a row to go pro, rate, and then that i couldnt upload anymore until i went pro! you barely gave me a chance to see what i was doing to know whether i liked it or not! 😡

The App should just charge a price from the get go, instead of making out that's it's "free" I got one split pic uploaded to insta, went to do another and got a notification to say I would Need to upgrade to Pro to get full features. Deleted.

Have had this app for a while, though I didn't use it much. It worked when I needed it but the reason I'm uninstalling is that it suddenly caused sketchy pop up ads to show up on top of whatever I was doing, even if I wasn't using that app.

Nice features pics look great. But down fall can only post 2 free split photos and you got to pay to continue or use any more features. Wish I could do more but you cant just 2 thats it :/ , got to pay after that but didnt know this till after downloading app :/.

Worked great in the free version, then I paid for the pro as you can only split two photos on the free one, that's when the app stopped working and won't upload to my Instagram feed now. Emailed company no reply in two days. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!

Really makes what seemed to be impossible or complex an easy task. Straight forward, good amount of options to choose from size-wise, and always operates without a hitch.

One star is generous. Not one split done Uploaded one photo. No option for a tall/portrait photo, only square or horizontal. The split was jumbled. Tapping to sort correctly prompted Upgrade to Pro popups. That's it. Uninstalled.

Hi, the app is compressing photos so much that they are a complete blur when uploaded into IG and viewed from other than mobile. I have a better result just splitting or adjusting mobile images manually in PhotoEditor.

This app is dumb. It works well on splitting the pictures. I am completely satisfied with that. the problem is only being able to upload two photos. it's ridiculous. I did not know this until I uploaded two. I was testing to see what I liked on my feed and to see what I wanted to keep and I decided not to keep my first two tries and guess what now I can not do anymore. Just makes me mad. I understand they're trying to earn money with trying to get you to go pro and pay them. but to post is dumb

Tried most of these apps. This one seems to keep the image quality by not over compressing the jpg crop. Lose 1 star due to unfair two use trial. Only being able to use it twice is not enough to evaluate properly.

I had only used this once to have an idea how to use. When I try to actually use it interrupted me just before my last tile to tell me to go pro and would not allow me to use it. They claimed that it only allows 2 free Splits but that isn't true.

This app really tried it lol if I could give it 0 stars I would they didn't say anything about a limited number of free split post in the beggining and then when I get to my 3rd post they stop me at the last piece I was posting to my instagram and said I had to go pro and wouldnt allow me to get the last piece of the puzzle lol a good strategy for chumps! I do not reccomend and I was just about to tell my friends how I was splitting the photos with this app lol sneaky little blanks!
