Physics Toolbox Gyroscope

This app measures and displays a graph of Angular Velocity (rad/s) vs. Time (s) that can be exported to Google Drive or in an e-mail as a .txt attachment with comma separated values (csv). This gyroscope can be used to measure rotational and/or periodic changes in the x, y, and z planes.

Permissions Explained:

android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: A csv file is created and modified on the phone's internal memory.

Works well, useful for visualizing rotation on all axes with a real-time plot. If you like this app then try out the Physics Toolbox Suite (by the same developer) to take advantage of all of the sensors on your device! It includes this app and many more all in one package that is still free, still has no ads, and still uses minimal permissions (so it's non-invasive).

Very useful for devs to study the output. Interesting to see the "rebound" from a particular sharp motion. The graph spikes one way and then the other when the user brings the device back to neutral. Thanks for this great developer tool.
