Physics Toolbox Light Meter

This app displays a graph of Luminosity (lux) vs. Time (s) that can be exported to Google Drive or in an e-mail as a .csv file (comma separated values).
Test the brightness/intensity of light sources using your phone light sensor. Use the light sensor to investigate the inverse-square law from a point source of light, true magnitudes of light bulbs (as our eyes do not directly perceive comparative brightness accurately due to the constriction and retraction of the pupil), solar intensity variations dependent upon weather, and the ability of objects and surfaces to absorb, reflect, and/or transmit light.

Checked against calibrated light meter so far out its unfunny waste of time

Best app.

Provides easy comparisons of light intensity. Pretty much exactly as described.

This is very easy for use app with clean UI without obstructive adds. It will measure and record values from front light sensor of your phone. Also, there is option for result saving. Accuracy greatly depends of sensor quality of your device and therefore don't blame authors. They did great job. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Works for a while then the value tails off.

4,5 The option for refresh rate is not very helpfull as all of them seem to be too close together and bassically you have very fast, slightly faster, a bit slightly faster and faster just one bit more. Great tool tough, good sensor readings and very well done graph with auto scaling and stuff. Good job!
