Physiotec

Physiotec was the first provider of rehabilitation exercise software to offer an online exercise prescription service that is accessible in real-time. Their innovative technology allows the creation of high-quality personalized exercise programs. All therapeutic, physical fitness, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation exercises are accompanied by descriptive images in the form of simplified diagrams, photos, or video clips, along with clearly written instructions. The exercises are grouped in different modules: geriatrics, neurology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, vestibular, amputees, cardio, pelvic floor, Pilates, plyometric, reinforcement, warm-up, yoga, etc.

Physiotec's service offering to healthcare professionals is extremely impressive. In the areas of health, rehabilitation and fitness alone, more than 6,000 different exercises have been designed for rehabilitation programs and exercises in the areas of physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy, occupational therapy, manual therapy, sports, physical fitness, chiropractic and osteopathic rehabilitation, as well as therapeutic exercises.

Physiotec’s innovative technological platform makes it possible to structure clinical knowledge in such a manner that it is driven dynamically thanks to the meta-analyses conducted by the stakeholders. Thus a therapist can use the database and, with the support of the Physiotec team, digitally personalize one or several exercises with regard to the specifics of his patient’s needs.

it would be good to specify the difficulty per set of exercise as it stands now you can only put the difficulty of the entire exercise serie. It would be good to be able to add notes to each prescribed exercise. When watching exercise videos I cannot open the video in full-screen. Would great to have calendar which shows what days to trained. As it stands now, I can only see what I did per week per program. My basic training week is a combo of multiple programs.

The concept is fantastic and it works well except for two things. 1. It logs you out unexpectedly and you lose the time spent on the exercise period, which is very frustrating. This seems to happen if you need to switch between apps. 2. I've been told to complete my exercise regime 3 times per day, but it's only possible to record one session per day. It isn't possible to enter an aggregated time as the most time you can enter is 99 minutes. My total time is about 150 minutes.

Really feels like a beta. I can't find any way to review my calendar (e.g. what I did and didn't do on what days last week). Tapping on the graph(?) icon to open the pseudo calendar is hit and miss. Not even sure it is an icon to tap but when I mash that area something happens eventually. In general, seems like there is a lot to improve upon.

Useful once you're in, but what a totally ridiculous hassle that is...No option to save login details, and the credentials generated by my physio consist of no less than thirty uppercase & lowercase characters as well as random digits thrown in too. You know what information is behind all that security? Some stretches and my first name. My banking app is easier to get into. My email apps save my passwords. This is just so so stupid.

Downloaded app, opened it & it asked me for username or code to login. I pressed help & only an error code came up. So I can't use the app at all. I can't seem to find information how to join. I can't create an account either. There's 10 minutes of my life I'm not getting back

App is working fine thanks. I did have a problem with the login being French but after being contacted by support I tweaked the language settings to remove the second language and all is fine.

Very poor login, it doesn't remember any details & no fingerprint option. Different screen details viewable between portrait & landscape modes. Now stuck on 'Notes' screen and no way to get off it - 'Home' button has disappeared. The basis of a good app if bugs removed and login improved significantly.

I think it's pretty spiffy really and other reviewers obviously didn't see the option to change the login and password on their accounts. I did that right away to something simple. Doesn't give 5 stars because I never give anything a perfect score. Nothing is so perfect it can't be improved upon!! :)

Most of the exercises don't make sense. The same term is used to mean different things in different exercises, e.g. in one exercise the term "chin must be tucked in" appears to mean it should be in a normal position, in another it seems to mean exaggeratedly pulled back. There are instructions missing from the exercises, e.g. "hold for the time instructed," but there is no time instructed. The videos are not a massive help either.

Not really an app yet. Needs the ability to tick off exercises as you do them and then to receive reminders when they are next due. This would also then allow the physio to see compliance at the next session.

Doesn't remember username and password, have to log in every time. Support says they had to remove it because of security issues. What the heck, even my email apps or bank app remember my credentials. Just bad programming.

Decent app. Would be nice if you could see your username/client ID somewhere and have some more control of your user settings. Also, If it remembers your credentials why doesn't it just auto log you in when you log into the app? Atleast fingerprint authentication would be nice.

This is a fantastic idea! I'd love it even more if you could set reminders to do your physio. It would also be nice if you could add previous physiotherapy programmes that you still need to do.

no longer showing bupa exercise programme. as others have mentioned, worked but now blank screen with only log out option. looks as if the developer does not care as no response given to other reviews either.

Great app especially during coronavirus when I haven't been able to see a regular physio. Had an issue and the customer service was brilliant and managed to sort my issue out.

I Love It.....As a patient i find this app to be easy to use. Simple to navigate. A very pleasant experience.

It's literally just a web view of the mobile site except it's even worse because it doesn't save your password. At least you get this with the mobile site via Chrome auto save passwords.

Nice app but horrible login experience. You have to enter complex username /passwords every time you use the app. I can't believe it's not fixed yet given the many reviews already flashing this issue.

Mic. W. Feb 16, 2020

1 star really for the requirement to have to keep putting in user name and password every single time. This should not be necessary. This is not particularly important or sensitive data, it's just exercises!!!!! Fix this now!

App is ok once you're in, but have to log in every time and setting password/resetting is unclear and doesnt work properly

Not good with apps on phone, light kept going off, prefer my exercise routine printed out on paper...much easier!!

Couldn't login to app even though I was using the username I had just set up days ago. Had to delete app. Now re-installing to see if that fixes issue.
