Still, great app. Edit 2: Please, if you are in desperate need of including ads somewhere to keep yourselves afloat, I highly suggest making banners; pop-up ads that cover the screen are utterly obnoxious.

It's a good idea! Mining isn't exactly synonymous with environmental stewardship. It appears that a different route will be taken in this case. I like the idea behind it! Mining doesn't really stand for being sustainable. Here it does seem that an alternative path will be taken. The app is simple, precise and easy to use. It does not drain battery or consume data. I like the regular video updates by the leader of the Core Team which give confidence in the project. Although it's been long since there was a video like that, it will be nice to resume with the video updates by the Core Team. Looking forward to the overall success of the project.

Very poor app. It was working fine for months and since around Christmas hasnt worked and comes up with an error. I have since found out that for whatever reason when I'm on WiFi it doesn't work but on mobile data does. They have sent no communication about this and it was just by chance I found it out. Very poor development and it probably sets the stage for how this whole project will go... Up in smoke.

It does have ads however, you can skip it at the top right corner and it doesn't affect your mining rate. I think it's a good idea and I look forward to seeing the progress of how this app will become. It doesn't require much from you. No additional fees.

This is not a review for Pi coin, but for the Pi app. I have been using it for multiple years now and I believe it is functionally a very good app. Form is a little lacking but it runs in the background for the most part (using surprisingly little battery) so it's not like you interact with it regularly. However, the daily check could be improved. It should allow one to refresh within a time window as opposed to specifically at or after a 24 hour period.

It is difficult to add friends to one's circle because it will not identify from my contacts which of one's friends is already on the PI network. And when you try to add a friend from your contact it will want to send an invite to the person as a long text message which will cost more than a page . Then the verification procedure is cumbersome.

Doesn't put any strain on my phone, doesn't require much time at all, and is very user friendly. Just verify your info and click a button once a day and that's it! Even if nothing comes of it, all you're out is the few seconds it takes to click.

Ads are getting intrusive and annoying everytime I mine Pi. After waiting for the ad to finish and tapping the X button, black sreen will appear and I can't go to my Pi interface.

Edit 3/15/22: Pi dev fixed the Ads constantly being shown (despite opting out). That's great! But for the last 2-3 months, around the time Pi went to MainNet, the app freezes after 1-2 hours of mining. I've tried clearing cache, app permissions and reinstalling but the issue persists. Its not my phone (Note 9) as my S.O.s Note 20 has the same issue. This "freezing" bug impacts our total mining uptime as the app won't mine when its frozen. :( I love Pi, but this HAS to be fixed!

Not receiving notifications. I'm on a pixel 6, I've tried on reinstalling the app. Also did a hard reset on the phone. Still nothing. All permissions are turned on all notifications for the app turned on. Did a little DD on the internet and seems like everyone else is having the same issue.

I was introduced to this network by a friend and I installed the app. But there is still a lot of things to improve. Starting the app takes a lot of time, it is very sensitive to data speed. Secondly, the UI looks very old fashioned and needs improvement.

Not sure what to think about the project recently, the app won't load on a WiFi connection, it's hard to log back in if you swap phones, adverts have been added to the app. Let's hope the team hurry up with the KYC and we can move to exchanges or trust wallet.

It seems that the developers are more concerned with running ads in the app than making it work properly. After the upgrade to Android 12 I get an "unexpected error" when I try to login with my number. The app does not send pings to users anymore.

Stopped working, this app will no longer load. Then when I re-install and try again it won't allow me and just tells me there is an error with no explanation. Even tried contacting the developer by email and Instagram and no reply from either. Seems to me they're not too bothered about customer service.

I've been mining Pi for months then suddenly last month it simply stopped working. I now even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and still won't work. I've not had any notifications to say it's a system fault or anything. So does anyone know, what's going on, please? So pretty frustrating not knowing what is going on!

The app itself is functional but I can't say for it's notification system. For the past 3 months, maybe even more, since I switched to new phone (Xiaomi 11t Pro) I haven't received any notifications to start mining after my session ends. Looking through these revirews, a lot of other people have the same problem.

There are ads. Not sure why. It's simply a check-in tool for pi. Some of these ads are loud and inappropriate. Not sure if this is a scam, because nothing has come off it for years. The latest gimmick, locked in coins, has me wondering all the more. So, 1 star until they prove useful and remove the obnoxious ads.

Everything was working well except the last few months I can't get in. Every day it reminds me to open the app and when I do, it's just a white screen with a purple loading circle. It's really annoying and I'm not even sure if the app is actually mining.

Usually it's a good app, but now anytime I open it I get an error that says "3: SSL error: The certificate authority is not trusted" and has a "try again" box below. Clicking the try again box just takes me to a blank white screen and doesn't load a single thing.

A nice App and does not drain battery, recently i flashed my phone because of some issues it developed my password was forgotten for days i have been following the protocol to recover account but always got stucked on the verification process which can go on for hours and yet still not retrieve my account and all text messages sent attract charges imposed by the network provider and is sad still i haven't recover my pi account i would be delighted if this issues is resolved. LOVE THE APP

Unfortunately, I had to reinstall. This was advised from someone from this app, support. Now everytime I reinstall and try and sign in there's an issue, it's not letting me sign in says error, and now I can't make a new account and my old account had over 100 pi now I won't get back so this app is clearly a scam, also support won't help with accounts they say what I did which doesn't help if anything makes it worse.

Great, amazing, beautiful, creative.... There are many words to describe this app and project and all would be accurate. These awesome people have made crypto available to mine for everyone with a mobile device. Thats a huge step in this subject of you ask me and it's free so what's not to like. I highly recommend to invest in and believe in the project that's at hand. In short "it's all coming together as we've planned". Give it a try.

Everything is working fine but I want to turn my notifications on. It asked me when I first downloaded the app if it wanted then on but I rejected. A few years down the line, I want them on but there isn't a setting to enable for it. Please add an option to turn them on.

It's easy to use, but it's cumbersome to have to log in and "restart your mine" every 24 hours 🤦🏻‍♀️ And the advertisements don't need to run that long...? Just show a screen with the app's name and a screenshot or summary. That should suffice.

I haven't been able to get into this app for months i tried to uninstall the app as everytime I put my phone number it says an unexpected error has occurred try again and then eventually it kicks me out completely. I reinstalled and still the same.
