PicaSim: Flight simulator

- so if you've tried the free version (which contains most of what's here) and you enjoy it enough that you would like to support its past or future development (or just say thanks!), buy this to make a contribution.
If it helps, this includes some extras that aren't in the free version of the simulator:
- A variety of races
- F3F-style and cross-country (the free version has just one race).
- Limbo (slope and powered) and thermal duration challenges.
- Planes: Two discus launched gliders (including the Ypsi Notos), GeeBee R2, Tigger (2.9m F3F slope racer), ASW15, "The Plank", magpie, and an electric version of the Neoslope. Also a quadcopter/drone and a very fast/aerobatic control-line plane, the Peacemaker.
- Terrains: Panoramic version of the "Mountains Dynamic Soaring" scene, plus a "Snowy Hills" scene (3D and panoramic) and two more panoramic scenes (flat field and slope).
Over time it will acquire additional planes/terrains.

The complete list of planes included is:
Gliders/sailplanes: ASW15, Banana, Canard, Discus, trainer, Neoslope, Genie, Icarus (DLG), Jart, Kato, Le Fish (standard & ultralight), Magpie, Notos (DLG), Phase 6, Plank (wing), Tigger (F3F), Trapeze, Weasel.
Electric gliders: Neoslope, trainer
Powered R/C planes: AcroBat, Extra (3D, normal and large size), F18, GeeBee R2, RT Eraser Five, High-wing trainer, twin-propeller delta.
Control-line: Extra, Peacemaker.
Other: Wasp (quadcopter), Moyes XS 142 (hang glider).
If your device is Android 3 or above and supports USB OTG, you can probably use an external USB gamepad or joystick, or even your R/C Transmitter (via an interface), using a USB OTG cable/adapter (very cheap). Its definitely worth trying. Make sure you connect the controller before running PicaSim, and then set it up in the settings->joystick menu. Permissions: PicaSim saves settings to the SD card, mainly because it supports using user-generated content. It needs the "Phone calls" permission for Marmalade
- and to handle interruption by incoming calls properly. PicaSim does not access any personal data on the device.

Absolutely fabulous sim. I love it & have be playing/practicing on it for years. it really does keep you fresh & your eye/ hand in. Pick it up, have a fly, put it down again. Have a good play with the settings to tailor it for you, for me adjusting to the largest stick control size area helped greatly. Keep those tablet screens clean!-otherwise the touch screen thumb sticks jump & glitch. If you are a thumb & finger stick pincher you might struggle, but if you are a thumbs on top you'll love it.
5 stars, flawless, only complaint is that certain planes and gliders are "not compatible" with AI. (Won't show up on plane selection menu for AI)
Absolutely brilliant game. Have been playing for multiple years now and have enjoyed experimenting with all of the advanced options. Its a must have and worth spending a small amount to support the developers and to unlock some extra planes!
Very enjoyable, but anyone using it to learn to fly RC would normally be using a rudder/elevator/throttle set up on a basic powered trainer, that would be a good option for learning, And I accept the training 'park' is a winter setting but it's a bit dark to clearly see the plane sometimes, maybe a summer scene with plenty of light!
this app is a brilliant way to get some practice in the hobby so you can learn with out crashing an expensive plane!!!! been using the app for a few years and it hasnt ever gotten bored from it!!! i would recomend using some sort of transmitter or game pad to help get used to the radio!!!
Best fight sim in my humble opinion,try hooking up an external controller from Xbox or,I use my Real flight stimulator controller,you have to tweak a few things,it's USB,so you will need an OTG adapter,but money well spent. That's when it gets Cool!
Best rc game yet! I fly control line planes irl and this sim helps me practice! Only one problem though, the game doesn't work right now and all the letters on the app are black and all the paint schemes on all the planes are just white. Anyone else have this problem?
the runways are kinda difficult and still feels a little clunky. the runway out in the middle of the water is not able to be landed on. All Rc's handle very realistically.
The absolute best simulator ive ever used on mobile, defintiely worth it to pay the few dollars for the extra models. Really outstanding job on this sim, it feels very smooth and accurate, highly reccomended
Very fun and realistic flight simulator. Definitely recommended to anyone interested in RC. There is also a free pc version which is great with a joystick.
Love to build and fly my gliders in my early years but nowadays be too hard to get up and down the hill this is a great app gray control really great graphics in appearance love the fact it cost me nothing to fly anymore absolutely nothing thanks for this app I enjoy it immensely
it's great, but I think the terrain needs a little more detail. the water doesn't look very realistic, but the game is still great
Running on a Galaxy Tab S2, I was unable to get the app to recognize my Spektrum DX8 connected via a HH USB RF dongle. OK if you just want to play with your finger !
This is probably the best app of its sort on here and the only one worth the $. However I am sad that there hasn't been any updates in a while, and there's not much in the way of community support as far as new planes, scenery, etc.
Fantastic simulator for practice! Very realistic. Would love to see more airplanes! Importing Flite Test designs would be even better!

The best. Period. Now, add an electric foamy Cessna, an Airliner, and an indoor arena that's bigger than my living room. Also, some degree of flaps would be nice in order to land the f18 on the runway!!!
Yes except the fighter jet is nearly impossible to land without breaking the under carriage. Pls make it a lot stronger.
The most amazing flight sim. I've paired my ps4 controller with my phone and now it's endless fun. Thank you for such an amazing app, brings back my childhood!
Great simulator, although I would like to see cockpit mode on all available gliders, planes and drones, so you feel more submerged. Will this be available on Oculus Rift VR anytime soon?
Well build sim with surprisingly realistic graphics! By far, my favorite sim, especially for gliders.
Really good game, enjoy the electric kato the most, gliding I find personally quite challenging, lovely game and I hope to see more great content in the future!
First rate. A very realistic RC simulator. Love it. Returning to RC flying after ten year break. With Picasim I quickly relearnt my old skills. Well worth the purchase. Opening view over Dragon's Hill is where I learnt to slope soar in the 1970's. Running flawlessly on a Huawei Android pad, connected with usb to my TX Jumper T18. All the TX settings are directly used by Picasim. Took a while to set up. But can use to evaluate changes for my models without risking them.
