Just started setup. I love the layout and aesthetics of this app, but it has got a lot of bugs both in the app and in the browser. The app on my phone crashed already once when editing a profile picture. Also on the phone app, it deleted a To Do task title while I was setting a due date. And for some reason the "Save" buttons don't always respond in the browser version, as if they aren't coded. I think there is so much promise with this app but the bugs are so obvious and hard to get around.
Guys, love the look of the app. This might be THE contender for cozi if they can polish it out. However the app can't sync with google calendar because it isn't properly registered. This a HUGE deal breaker. I want to throw my money at you all, but without this feature I simply can't use it. Additionally, I wanted to say that this app seems a little too ambitious. Way too many features that just don't work well. One example is calendar syncing which takes over 3 minutes to show every time.
Very buggy. I really want this app to work for our family so i keep at it. It has a lot of bugs though, like freezing, not loading screens, losing info on to-do input when you switch task from one person to the other, just lots of other small bugs that really affect the user experience. 99 bucks would've been fine for an app i could consistently count on. Until then i guess I'll struggle bus through the free version.
I was really hoping that this would be the perfect app, it looks like it has the potential, but I hit a dealbreaker right off the bat. I can't connect it to my Google account, I'm especially interested in connecting my existing calendars to the app. But when I try to connect it, I get an error saying "Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app. This app has not been verified by Google in order to use Google Sign in." Huge red flag there!
Thought it would be great for having a shareable list between android and apple users. It's almost useless for editing on android. As soon as you move an item and save, it returns back to bottom of the list. Seems very buggy on android platform. Galaxy S10. Not paying that high of price to see if premium subscription would fix it. Apps that don't work as a base rarely work better when you upgrade.
I really really wanted this app to work. It's beautiful and easy to set up... But, alas, it will not send me any alerts for any scheduled activities. I almost missed my son's swim meet because I was relying on the app to let me know when to get out the door. Other reviewers have also had this problem on Android devices and I was hoping the problem had been fixed. I look forward to reinstalling if this major issue is addressed soon.
Don't even bother with this app. I downloaded it and it worked amazing at first. Then the glitches started. Nothing I did fixed the glitches and getting ahold of tech support is impossible. I paid for the premium membership. I was stuck with the glitches until the membership expired. Thankfully, it finally did and I moved onto a different program. Months after I cancelled my subscription, I was suddenly charged with a subscription renewal. A glitchy app and a company that steals your money.
Love the idea of this app, but having a hard time easily locating certain tasks. Most wanted improvements I would love are: To-Do list to show in order by due date. Right now they are in random order and it's hard to shuffle through what is due today if you just want to look at that. Android Widget. Computer web browser access (internet explorer, chrome, firefox, etc.)
Great app overall, more features at a better price than most family organizations apps. One feature I would LOVE to see is the ability to limit visibility of certain events on the calendar. My partner likes to plan their entire workday, and the rest of us only need to see when they're at work, not specific meeting times.
It keeps labelling my actions as another family member even though when I go into the app settings it indicates me correctly. Even better, that family member cannot access the account. You also cannot edit grocery items once they are on the list or add amounts intuitively. I liked the several shopping lists and the aisle organization but this app is just not finished and way too buggy for my needs.
Shameful. I really want to love this app and use it, the app has a lot of features and potential but the developer seems to not care about the slew of issues as seen in the other recent reviews. They need to dedicate more time to fixing this.It works well initially then it starts getting buggy requiring restarting the app over and over. Considering how buggy it is and how slow the developer is at getting it fixed I would be concerned about using it even if it was fixed. Fix it or remove it.
The meal planner is not working, making this pointless for me right now. I downloaded this to get away from multiple apps. Going back to Trello until this is fixed. Update: figured out how to live without the meal planner, but now it cannot sync my google calendars. All emails, about ALL issues, have gone 100% unanswered by the developers. Thank god I was smart enough not to subscribe.
I use it all the time. Right now, I've tried accessing the app for over 45 minutes with no luck. I routinely have to restart the calendar multiple times just to see the calendar. It is really glitchy.
The app was relatively easy to set up and has a nice interface, and while I expected some functionality to only be available in the premium option It's ridiculous that I can access recipes for free but can't use a meal planning calendar in the free version. Only about 50% of the app is available in the free version including a basic task like meal planning therefore I will not be continuing with this app
I was truly excited about this. I've been trying to get on the same calendar with my older children. this has a great concept however I do not receive notifications at all when something is inputted. sorta defeats the purpose if I have to stalk the app to see if anything has been added.... pretty bummed.
So hard to set up. so many bugs. very frustrating. unable to set up. my wife never got her email, evem though she signed in, the app didnt recognise this, wouldnt save my profile updates, and this was just my first 10 minutes of trying to set up. Had to go with a different app for family organization.
Whoa....waaayyy too expensive for most everyone!! Business applications often don't cost this much. Otherwise.... Awesome app I, and many, would find great but can't, and won't, pay the huge price tag. There are multiple choices for free to get the same result with 2 free great apps.
$99 a year or only half of the options, feels a bit expensive for an app I barely know. And less than 1k reviews, you should introduce costs more gradually and build user base, when people can't live without or has options which feel like it's worth the high cost.
Had used picniic for a long time and was happy with it until recently, when some features just stopped working/disappeared, and I've emailed the support email twice and got no response. Makes me wonder if there even is any support for this app anymore
I loved it at first. I was even willing to pay the 100$ to upgrade. But it continually crashes now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled (tech genius amirite?) but still won't work. It's not worth the effort to use the free version let alone the paid version.
This app seemed perfect at first. But as I was setting it up, the pages wouldn't load and none of the information entered was saved. There is no possible way to use this app with its current issues.
Great all-in-one family management app. Has really helped our family stay organized. 4 stars only because the to do list is missing some needed functions (support team days they're working on getting them though): sorting to-dos by...well anything, priority levels, first letter of to do should be automatically capitalized, etc.
Trying my best to figure this out but it is so frustrating! Wish there was more emphasis on Chores as To-dos is clunky and you have to manually look to see who did what when. There's no central parent section so kids can't "accidentally" delete Chores. Can't get Google assistant to work with the app. Paid a lot of money as I needed more than 7 days to try and figure it out. A 30 day trial would be fairer. If I could delete and get my money back I would.
Constantly the app closes on me while trying to save something and I'm constantly getting error alerts on my phone about the app and I have no idea what they're for. Very disapointed. Sounded like a great app.
Has promise, but has some bugs to work around that make the app frustrating. I signed up for the free trial and have been messing around with it and love a lot of the features. But the bugs/issues prohibit me from rating it higher. Some other minor improvements could be make it 5 stars. Probably will drop the premium at the end of the trial unless the bugs improve.
