Picross Cat Slave - Nonograms

This game is cute and fun. I'd give it five stars, EXCEPT, a lot of the puzzles can't be solved through logic alone. Which is managable if it's just one final "either this OR that" scenario, but there are a few where the choice is halfway in to a large puzzle. It's very frustrating. It would also be nice to have clearer goals for unlocking each cat.

A really fun game. My only complaints are they took away the option to continue by watching an ad. Now you have to start over if you make too many mistakes. My other problem with the game is that you can tap a coloured square and sometimes it will take off a heart like when you make a mistake. It makes the large levels incredibly vexing. Other than that the game is cute, simple and addicting!

The controls aren't intuitive, and are actually actively annoying. I can't figure out if a long press is what marks a square with an x or not, and you can't pull squares off the board to delete them like the tutorial tells you, because it just makes X's you can't get rid of everywhere. I also lost halfway through my first level somehow?? I was in the middle of playing and it just told me that I lost for no discernable reason. I didn't see a timer or anything so I don't get it

It was wonderful! It took me a while to complete, and had very intuitive controls which players could customize to their preference. I'd like if we could replay old levels. I also think "slave" is the wrong translation, but it made for several jokes between my friends. As far as picross goes, this was fantastic and had so many levels!

lots of fun! only issue i have is that there's no zoom in option- the 20x20 games have pretty small squares and it's really easy for me to hit one i don't intend to and lose a life. also, sometimes the option to watch an ad to get another life isn't available and i have to restart the whole puzzle, which is especially frustrating on 20x20 games. otherwise it's wonderful

Fun to play in your spare time. It makes you use your brain for some parts and think about your moves. I really enjoy it😊. Update! I just finished the game! All 1515 levels. Itwas quite entertaining and I really enjoyed the simple but capturing puzzles. Though to improve the game I would say if the developer could put in a zoom type tool because the bigger the grid, made it harder for me to tap squares due to their size. I would definitely recommend though to anyone who like small puzzle games

Although the premise of "cat slave" is confusing, the puzzles are good and the rewards are acceptable. Especially nice that after finishing 1000 puzzles the ads go away. Easy enough to play in airplane mode until then. I will be clearing the cache and replaying this one. Good game, thank you. I do have to laugh about "pitopen" for "Peter Pan." Addendum on second time thru: i can't play the second page of small puzzles. Also note that the collection count stops at 13 unless one taps collection.

One the best picross games out there. The storyline is simple but charming. The mechanics are smooth. The music is playful but not too intense or annoying. There are the options of big or small picross which is nice so you can play either depending on your mood. My feedback is that I wish it doesnt take so long to collect more cats and it would be fun if we can interact with them more, like feed them, play with them etc... kind of like a tamagotchi. That would really make this game stand out!!!

The puzzles are super hard but really fun so far. The only thing I dont like is that when I close out of the app my puzzle gets erased :( even if I dont close it out all the way but I go to use a different app it'll lose my progress for that puzzle. That makes it hard especially for the bigger puzzles because I have to finish the whole puzzle in one sitting... it would be nice if it saved the progress made!

I just finished it all and would definitely recommend if you already like nonograms or if you're just starting out. The fact that they remove the adds for free after you hit level 1000 was a big plus although it came with the extra work of not being able to watch an add for a "life" if you died! The designs are cute and the cats are adorable ❤ very relaxing game that I've enjoyed thoroughly!

I finished all 1515 levels! The 20x20 were a bit clunky to play, but I got used to it. The biggest annoyance I faced was actually after level 1000 - beyond this you don't see ads. Unfortunately this means you can't watch ads to get extra lives if you lose a level. Had to restart after messing up on the final squares many times... All in all though - loved the game.

Lovely game, easy to use. The ads are only after completing a level and are a mixture of either just press the cross to get rid of it or watch a video for 5 seconds before skipping it. A small price to pay for a good nonagram app. There are hours of levels to complete. It's taken me two years to finally finish it in my spare time

Super addicting!! I can't stop playing!!! This game is taking over my life. Well done puzzle game with simple mechanic that works. Love the graphics of the game as well, the bright and happy colours really makes you want to keep playing. Feedback: make tapping on 20x20 puzzles easier, eg magnifying glass when you tap+hold+hover. Also a way to cancel tapped squares, eg tap but do not release, then drag out of the puzzle area to cancel the selection.

The puzzles are fun and challenging, but it is hard to see the shaded numbers around the puzzle - sometimes it's almost as if the numbers are invisible. I also don't like that even if I turn off the game sounds and music, the ads are very loud. If I want to quietly play a game, I want my entire gaming experience to be quiet.

cute, relaxing game... albeit the title a little strange. the only thing I'd change is fix some of the colors to make it more user-friendly (change the yellow numbers to something easier to differentiate from the white ones, make the selected box gray, then green when coloring in, red when crossing out... also make the buttons a little larger) Other than that, love the game.

Very cute and addicting. I played a different pxel puzzle game before and this one is cuter. The puzzles are colored, which makes the result look nicer although it takes some time to get used to. You have lives that you may loe by making a mistake, and I'm not in love with that gameplay, since sometimes it's just a 'fat-finger' mistake. Other than that, really enjoying this game so far!

Super cute, but suffers from what I've noticed in a few other picross games where it seems to be made deliberately difficult so you end up having to watch more ads for more lives. Like super sparse 20x20 puzzles where the placement is so ambiguous you basically have to guess - even with the hints. Otherwise it seems to be a very well made game! It can just be frustrating sometimes.

It's good, and calming. In every 100 levels you got a cat. They said if you're getting on level 1000 the ads will stop. Haven't got the chance to try it to, I uninstalled when I reached 600-700ish levels. It's not like it's bad, but the picture for big puzzle just didn't pleased my eyes. So I just finished all the small puzzles and few big ones.

My favorite picross/nonogram game so far. I loved collecting the kitties. The only reason I stopped is because I completed all the puzzles and got them all! I'm hoping for a sequel or an update. Maybe if you make a sequel you can create some other gameplay mechanisms/interaction with the cats? Or some more animations? Or if not, just add more kitties, Neko Atsume style. The actual picross gameplay/controls can be a little tricky sometimes, but I find that's about the same for all picross apps.

This game is great, my only complaints are that the "little" levels are almost impossible to tap on a smartphone at 15×15. And the check mark button is so close to the same colour when it's clicked as it is when it's off that I often think it's off when it is not and have frequently had to start a level over again because of it.

The obsessive time I spent on this you would think the 5 stars. First, after you reach Level 1000 you have to restart the game if you make too mistakes. Also, the 20x20 grids are almost impossible to play without a stylus. And, I have now completed the game so the obsession is over. That's both good and bad.

Entertaining to play, but the display for the "normal" size gets increasingly frustrating. And having lives for mistakes, that make you either start from scratch or watch videos to continue, it's even more annoying. Im having to put it down for more than a week at a time before feeling i can tolerate it again.

I really enjoyed the game. I give the 5 stars because it deserves, since it delivers what is proposed. The cats are cute, the pictures are fun. As suggestions, a story is told, but there's no feeling of progression. Maybe it could be fun to read it if you locked it behind some pictures milestones. Make bigger pictures worth more than smaller ones. It's frustrating to finish a 20x20 piece and be awarded the same as a 5x5. Last is to have replayability, without having to lose all your cats.

It's nice that they turn off ads after a while, but then I don't have the option watch an ad for more lives if I make a mistake - which is super easy considering how tiny and sensitive the cells are. I would rather deal with ads than get close to finishing a 20x20 puzzle then having to completely start over.

Very cute game! I loved reading the bad translations as well. You can pick your difficulty when completing puzzles from 5x5 to 20x20. The 20×20 required me to use a stylus on my galaxy edge phone, but that was fine. Takes a while to collect cats, but they are adorable. There is not much interaction with them, but that's okay since this game is about the puzzles. Plenty of puzzles to do: 12 categories with 26 single puzzles each and 20 large puzzles that require solving many smaller ones.

Would be 5 stars, but when you try to undo a wrong move by moving the line off the edge before releasing, it still takes a life. Playing on a phone, sometimes your finger doesn't tap the right square on larger puzzles with tiny squares, so being able to undo mistaps is important, especially with how few lives you get.

I've played through this game 3 times now. While I wish it had more levels, it's an incredibly fun game and one I recommend for anyone new to picross. After you've completed most of the game, you no longer see ads, which is a nice alternative to buying ad removal. Overall great game.
