2019 Very relaxing. Agree with other players that it would be nice if it could be backed up on cloud, progress transferred to other devices, & grid lines need to be clearer. Would also like the option to disable animations as it slows down gameplay considerably. 2022 changed my phone. Game now has annoying unskippable animation when it loads. Still not able transfer/back up my progress. Don't want to replay levels on this phone. Will abandon this 'chapter' & move to the next one instead.

I like this game. It's well designed and easy to play. But I'm considering uninstalling it because of ad issues. Some ads refuse to load, requiring me to close the app. Other ads load, but have no way to exit - even clicking on the ad doesn't let me get back to the game. Again, I have to close the app because of the ad. The game is good, but the ad issues are frustrating.

I enjoyed the previous Picross, and this one has much the same playstyle. I like the touch of color appearing on the menu screen as I play, I had not expected that. The Journey mode so far has fantasy-relevant items that feel more appropriate to the setting than in the previous version. One downside is the intrusive ads. I'd love to support the developers and pay them to remove the ads. Two stars off for that.

I absolutely love this game. However there are two things that need improved. I wish the background color of the puzzles were black like in the original Picross Luna. The gradient magenta color is not enough of a contrast when trying to solve the puzzle and it's hard to tell sometimes which blocks I have already filled in. The second thing is a glitch I've found. If I accidentally click off of the right side of the grid, it takes a heart away as if I clicked on the wrong block. If you could fix those two things, I would change all my ratings to 5 star. Thanks!

I love this game! I've played the first game and completed it 100%, and I was so happy to see a sequel. It is simply beautiful, the colors and storyline are charming. The translation into English is rough, but that adds to the charm. My only downside is the removal of ads after completing 90% of the puzzles. (I never thought I'd say those words!) I wish i could opt to keep the ads for extra lives. Especially in the 20x20 end game puzzles, I need those ads with the amount of mistakes I make.

The art is lovely. The mechanics and progression are good, and more polished than the first, but the background color of the puzzles makes it impossible to play with map color on because the filled squares are indistinguishable from the blank ones. The story is far less interesting than the first as well, trying and failing to adapt Alice in Wonderland. The translation, which was somewhat silly in the first, is nearly impossible to understand here.

So many glitches it saddens me. Quite often, on large puzzles, something goes wrong, lines over lap, something. That was mostly on the first one, in this second one, I'm trying to go thru and do the story, I started it last night and woke up this morning to it being completed. I did not complete it. It had to of been a glitch. Very irritating. Despite the complaints, I do love the games. Just wish they didn't have these little issues.

I love the game, but it keeps counting mistakes when I hit the outer edge. You are supposed to be able to cancel a move, but it doesn't work. It's very hard to see when numbers have been greyed out and there's no way to change the background color to make it more visible. Do not finish a final puzzle in the voyage section, then finish a part of one of the story puzzles, as it will finish that entire story piece and you'll miss out on several puzzles.

I think these puzzles are perfect in the sense that they aren't too easy, but they don't require guessing. The puzzles are challenging. As you solve the puzzle, it reveals more possible answers. My only complaint is the difficulties of trying to play the 20x20 puzzles. They are really small on the phone and can lead to wrong moves. The story that's revealed over the course of the game is entertaining also. Overall, very enjoyable.

Pros: It's a Picross game and you can play Picross (with multiple control styles). Lots of interesting patterns/pictures instead of random puzzles. The art is gorgeous. The music is pretty and calming. Cons: The plot has so much engrish it's nearly unintelligible. There's only one song and it starts playing if you have the app open in the background, meaning if you want to stop a puzzle partway through you need to manually turn off the music in the app or on your phone.

A pretty relaxing picross game. There are, however, a number of puzzles that are impossible to solve or have multiple solutions and so require guessing or using a hint (which you have a limited number of), which is a huge sin to me in picross puzzle games. I've also had problems with the UI not registering finger presses, which is annoying when I'm trying to switch between fill and X's and I don't realize right away it didn't switch so I mess up a number of squares. Still, pretty fun.

The art style is so simple, yet effective and beautiful. Each level gives you enough of a challenge to help you learn and improve, yet isn't enough to cause frustration with them. The story is also beautifully tragic, which can appeal to most people. It did end in a cliffhanger though, so I'm definitely keeping an eye out for a third installment to this series. my only issue is the grammer. The English does require some improvement, but it's not impossible to understand.

As much as I love picross, the Luna series is difficult to enjoy. The biggest and most common issue (we're talking multiple times per puzzle) is that I'll select one kind of input (whether a pixel or an X), and as I'm clicking on the square I'd like to place it in, *as I'm clicking*, it'll randomly decide to switch to the other input. I catch it right away if I'm lucky, but it has no doubt resulted in many puzzles I've had to restart because of an unwanted pixel or X in the wrong spot.

The puzzles are fine, but there are a number of issues. The English is hilariously poorly translated, the controls, while you do have 3 options, feel clunky, especially on larger puzzles. The story is nice, but due to the poor translation and time between unlocking parts, it feels entirely extraneous. The app does weird things in the background with audio, running far more than a puzzle game needs to. The ads are understandable, but annoying since there isn't a paid version to avoid them. Okish.

So, I'm not playing this on a mobile device but a Chromebook. The app doesn't close properly and reopens by itself. Even forcing the app to quit yields the same result so I ended up having to uninstall the game. Instead of having five lives like in the first game you only get three. Which isn't exactly fair if you're doing the larger puzzles. Because when you lose all of your lives you either have to restart the whole puzzle or go back to the menu. The advertisments are very intrusive and pop up whenever you restart the puzzle, go back to the main menu, or even start a new puzzle. Don't get me wrong, the game is good and I do enjoy it but the intrusive adds and bullcrap lives system is not for me.

It's still my favorite nonogram puzzle so far. As others have said, the story really makes the game here. It's very sweet and worth finishing, if you have time. I also like that you can zoom into the puzzles. When you start getting to puzzles that are 20x20, the squares and numbers can be hard to see and work with, especially on a phone screen, so having the ability to zoom in is really nice.

The story continues! I fully completed the first game and was excited to see the second! I like some of the changes. Having the initial picture be colored as you complete each pic cross, amazing! Having each pic cross be colorized boxes, so cool! However, I had to remove one star because the color of the background makes it hard to see which boxes are filled in.

Many many puzzles and a practical yet pretty interface. I have to keep remembering to save the puzzles though, since the app will refresh itself every hour or so (it's not my phone, I checked). Also, in Picross Luna I, I had to eventually stop playing because it became impossible to complete puzzles without guessing. I somberheid hope that's not the case in this version!

Finally finished the entire game! It's been my favorite game to pass time for the last year or so. The art is beautiful and the incomprehensible storyline with its horrible grammar is extremely entertaining. The Nonograms themselves aren't difficult at all, but the squares are so tiny that it makes the gameplay just challenging enough. Very unique game with virtually no ads. Highly recommend.

I loved the first Picross Luna game, and this one is almost just as good! Not a fan of the level gating like in many mobile games (having to solve one puzzle before you can do the next), but doesn't ruin the game. A few typos; for example voyage I, level 18 is called 'sot' instead of 'pot'. XD The menu art is beautiful! The Yahtzee ad is stupid. It's over a minute long & unskippable. Faster to just reload the app than sit through it.

I find myself enjoying this game series, but I've encountered a weird bug with this game. I ended up doing the main storyline scenes out of order, and it seems to have caused one of the scenes (#12) to not count as completed. I'm not sure if there's an epilogue after entry #30; if there is supposed to be one, then it's not unlocking, possibly due to this bug.

I am enjoying the app so far. My greatest grievance is that the fill and x selections are flipped in order from what they were in the first version, which has led to many mistakes. I also miss the option of where I could skip ahead to the 10x10 or 15x15 grids. Other than that the gameplay is enjoyable.

Find this app lagging while connecting the internet, often need to be offline to continue the puzzles. Not sure it's my phone's issue or this app. I don't see any lagging by using any others. It's okay to show ads but it's quite annoying if there are slow responses and make lots of unwanted mistakes. Other else is good, I have lots of fun playing these puzzles, however, need to switch to offline.

Val. H. Dec 20, 2019

Love how this one is set up and that there are so many puzzles! It took me awhile to realize it takes away a life if you hit the edge, which is hard because it's the edge of your phone on the large puzzles and hard to fill in if your finger isn't on there just right. Also, the color of some of the images is so similar to the background that it can be difficult to see. Other than that, it's fun to play.

I have Luna 1 on my tablet so decided to get this one for my phone. It's similar, and the graphics are pretty. Unfortunately, the grid lines and background color for the grids are too similar and the lines almost fade out in the top half of the grid. This makes it very difficult to see the different squares and count quickly at a glance. I'm going to have to get a different picross game for my phone.

Daw. A. May 6, 2020

The game is great, however when the colors match the background, it's not so great. Either the colors of the blocks need to be changed, or the background does, because it is impossible to tell what you have already filled in. Change that and you get 5 stars. Other than that game play is great.

Jac. L. Jan 20, 2019

I really enjoyed part 1 and am enjoying part 2 especially with what seems to be more puzzles that are 15x15, my favorite. star taken off for the ads that almost seem to punish me if I manage to complete a puzzle relatively quickly, and have sound on as a default besides. Other than that, my only other complaint is the gradient color background causes eye strain after a while but i like the more obvious change when you completely fill a line.
