Picross Survival

I enjoyed the game. This is my second game from them and was not disappointed. Two Eyes was a little better, but this wasn't far behind. Lots of puzzles. I recommend using a stylus for the 20x20 or at least the 30x30. I do wish that it could be used either portrait or landscape, but that is honestly the biggest complaint, which isn't much.

I have just completed the game. It got difficult to see or click the right boxes with the 30x30 puzzles, and I'm using a tablet. However, you get 9 lives for each game, so the occasional misclick doesn't matter too much. The zoom option was confusing, so I didn't use it. There were no ads during a puzzle. There might be a 5 second ad after a puzzle. There was no need to spend money. It was a pleasant game, and I would like to play more similar games.

Picross on mobile typically suffers from poor input controls, where too often you make accidental mistakes, not from poor deduction but bad controls. This game, from what I've seen so far, avoids this issue, and goes one step further by including an actual campaign of sorts, where each puzzle plays a part in the story. Need a first aid kit? You will make one.

Fun with room for improvement. Overall concept is great. I love pic-cross games! UX could be improved where the map progression is concerned. It isn't "story book" flow, which isn't an overall problem, but would help the "feel" of progression. I'll definitely keep playing, so it's not a deal breaker. Just a constructive criticism :)

It was great while it lasted (about 6 months), but once I completed all the puzzles there's no reason to keep it. Wish there were addon packs to purchase. The final level was quite challenging with 30×30 blocks (more due to screen size restrictions than the puzzles being overly difficult). Puzzles were well made and didn't require any guessing to solve. Very well done.

A nice learning curve, minimal advert intrusion with lots of levels in the initial install. I intend to purchase on my next pay day. Only comment I can make is there was no obvious direction or label returning tobthecmain map once I had completed a section. Putting a short cut to the main map on the play screen and success screen would save a lot of confusion. Thats it. Albeit a small gripe this is a great game to support.

Fun to do and addictive! I'd highly recommend using a stylus with this game; it makes the Antarctica level so much easier than relying on zooming in and out all the time. My only complaint is how short it is. I managed to finish this in less than two weeks. I wish there were more levels than just the three plotlines. LG Stylo 3.

I have played several picross games & this one is by far my favorite. The ads are non intrusive, not videos, & only pop up every 3 or 4 games instead of after every single one like most picross apps. I would give it 5* if I didn't have to hold my phone sideways to play it. Hopefully they will keep adding more puzzles so I don't run out of puzzles to play.

The puzzles seem relatively intuitive and I like the amount of customization there is, but I wish turning off auto check for individual numbers also turned it off for checking the entire row/column. As things currently stand it's easy to brute force some puzzles by simply "walking" numbers square by square from one end of the line to another until the game just gives out the right solution.

A nonogram puzzle game that feels very janky, tap/slide controls are awkward and you spend more time struggling to color the right boxes than figuring out the puzzle. The puzzles themselves aren't really integrated into the "bigger" game (art, story) and lack of contrast makes visibility an issue. Ads are quite intrusive and play sound, even when the game is muted. Wouldn't recommend.

I like it over all, and really appreciate the lack of ads. But turning off sound and music doesn't last. After a while it just starts playing again and then the only way to get it off is to close the app. Each time I reopen it, I get less time silent.

A fun picross game to play. It has ads that randomly play but they are able to be paid to opt out of if they annoy you. That being said, I finished the game without ever spending a cent and I love the game. It helped me with a ton of stress. Going to spend the money to opt out of the ads just to give them money on my next check. Definitely would say to play this. <3

Installed this game after I ran out of puzzles in another picross app. Puzzles are very easy and not challenging. I have tried changing settings but the puzzles themselves are not hard. I immediately went to the hard level and they are not hard. Still a good game, just not challenging enough for me

Some have complained about the inaccuracies of the numbers on the sides. There is no problem with them; they are correct. But the contrast between the yellow background and the numbers when they turn white is too small. This is likely the reason people think the numbers are wrong; they can't see them clearly. The numbers should change to some higher contrast color. Failing that, it would be better for the numbers not to change at all than to change to a color you can't see.

Notably less accurate than other games from the same dev. I am constantly finding myself highlighting squares I did not intend to. Maybe it's the horizontal orientation (which I also don't like) maybe it's the game, maybe it's me. I don't know for sure but I have on multiple occasions failed a puzzle purely from "typos" and that has not happened to me with any other games.

I really enjoy this take of picross! Although, for some reason it crashes and freezes frequently. Thankfully most of the progress is saved, and it's just an inconvenience to close it and start it up again. Otherwise, it's a wonderful waste of time!

I liked the concept of the game but the interface for playing seems a bit lacking (I have played others with much better interfaces). If the developer can improve on the actual picross element I would give a higher rating. A good addition would be for a way of plotting where you want to place your confirmed squares.

Rated this game a 1 star before because it kept crashing and was basically broken. But it seems to be fixed now so giving my real review now. I really like this game its really nice when a story is added to the nonogram puzzles. Hope there is more to come! :)

Love how the story maps correspond to the puzzles. Great that it syncs with Google play and achievements. The artwork and animations look great. Gameplay and controls work very well. Once I finish this one, I'm going to continue with other ones from this developer!

It's a fun game, but it makes your phone really hot, even if you leave it idle. It's not as if it has any complex, fast-moving graphics, so I guess the game loop is thrashing the CPU like crazy. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend it as the heat can shorten the life of your phone and its battery. Uninstalled.

I really like the puzzles, however in level 2, the islands, I've had to close and restart between each puzzle. A bit annoying.

This is not a poorly made game at all, geat style, graphics and it has perfect mini story line to follow it through, I just didnt enjoy the concept of the game that much and had to re-play the tutorial afew times to fully understand. However that could just be me so dont hesitate to give this game a try.

I played the Arizona Rose pic cross puzzles and they had very rich graphics, but the stories were oddly disconnected and there were rewards you could only get by using power ups. This game is more simple and the story is better. Plus it uses real animals and plants native to the area.

This is one of my favorite nonogram games. However, it keeps freezing and crashing. That is the main thing that needs to be fixed. Otherwise, I really love the game play. It's relaxing.

It's a good game and its really fun to play. I haven't finished the story line yet (But I will). I like how the puzzles are made. The only issue I have with it is that every time I complete only one puzzle, the game freezes and I have to close out of it and reopen it. It's been going on for a week straight now.
